The entire development seems to have been plopped down without any consideration for the surrounding environment. The houses are packed together like sardines, leaving no space for privacy or outdoor enjoyment. The views are depressing, with no greenery in sight—just rows of poorly constructed homes staring at each other. It’s a concrete jungle with no charm or character.Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It’s a textbook example of poor construction, terrible planning, and a total lack of attention to detail. If youre looking for a home that offers comfort, quality, and a pleasant living experience, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

I purchased my house in 2021 and unfortunately now regret it. The construction of my house was done poorly and I have had issues. Which is disappointing because I expected better quality. In addition, the neighborhood restrictions have become stifling and unreasonable. The parking app stipulation makes it difficult to have guests over. You have to register every guest or their vehicle will be towed. There have been instances where vehicles were registered but their car was still towed. In addition, the pool is limited to only 4 guests per house. Again, this makes it difficult to have guests over. I would not recommend living in this community.

Very bad customer service as soon as they close the house. Dont move here. Tried to submit the request to fix the house under warranty and they made it so difficult. Nobody picked up the phone and the one person I have the email address to contact Laurel Monterosa isnt helpful at all....

I submitted 4 requests for the exterior trim to be secured back into place and my trim is still not secured. On the 2nd and 3rd attempts, I asked for the Meritage workers to call me or ring my doorbell so I can show them the issue and tell them the resolution which is to slide the trim back into place and secure it with nails, screws, adhesive, etc.None of the 3 times was I contacted. The workers TRESPASSED ONTO MY PROPERTY WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME AND CHOPPED OFF THE HANGING PART instead of sliding and securing it into place ALL 3 TIMES!The first 2 times I requested this, I was under the 1 year warranty but now the lady in the Support Portal is saying I am past my 1 year warranty. If Meritage did this correctly just once out of the 3x back when I was under warranty, this would not be an issue.Not to mention that after the 3rd attempt, Meritage verbally promised me that if the trim slides one more time, Meritage would replace the trim altogether. Man, I should I have gotten that in writing since that customer service rep is no longer with Meritage.The new customer service lady simply ignores my emails after a full week and rejects my claim.PLEASE DO BUSINESS WITH MERITAGE IF YOU:1) Want false promises made to you2) Want people trespassing onto your property without your consent3) Want people repeatedly chopping off parts of your home without your consent4) Want your emails ignored for 1 week+5) Want a company to leave hanging to dry with house problems6) Want to work with a company where there is a employee turnover problem

Careless construction. My fiance has been waiting on repairs to their NEW yes NEW home. Not one person has responded its been 4 months. What good is the warranty if they have eaten over 1/4 th of it? These are 100k homes max but cost over 300k Poor!

I had the awesome experience with Meritage, starting from Shirley Hashmi in the sales to the design team to financing to Superintendents Thad, anyone was spoke to, was super helpful. I am in construction industry for 15 years in the USA and working for a very reputable multi inspector firm I want to shout out for Thad Superintendent for professionalism and responsiveness.Rashid

I was just told that my home was sold to someone else. After all the hours I spent with the sales person picking out the design details, they didnt even call me to tell me that my contract was being cancelled. And now Im trying to figure out how to get my earnest money back.
