I use SSCI for all of my fuel system design projects. The designs are always timely and complete. The team is always ready to work with me to help find solutions to site specific problems. The best part about SSCI and Donald Hodges in particular, is that honesty and integrity are core principles in their business dealings.

We found Donald after another engineer didnt deliver on a project and we are so glad we did! The team at SSCI was amazing and helped us bring our crazy ideas into reality. This People specially Donald Hodges are extremely incompetent. I referred his engineering services (since we were friends) and his civil proposal had 56 deficiencies after city of Houston revised 4 times of course he blame everyone else. Second time, I used his services myself got a phony proposal. I called a meeting with the city. Head of the department feedback they have no idea what they are doing and then SSCI enforced an extremely high retainer fee (9k) for a poorly done job. They stopped answering phone calls and hired collection people. Dont waste your time and money working with this people.

Poor and rude operator kept hanging up on me while I was attempting to solicit their business.

SSCI performed a very comprehensive wetlands evaluation of our 155 acre plant site. They produced a detailed report with recommendations for planning future expansion projects. They also helped us understand wetlands mitigation and how to mitigate the wetlands areas we have on site.

I worked with Donald on an extension project to my existing house. We had hired a different architect for the structural work and the city of Houston came back with some comments and the original architect was taking extremely long to respond. As a result our project was on hold for more than 3 1/2 to 4 months. I was able to just find Donald and connect with him right away. I sent him the original drawings and City’s comments and he was extremely responsive and sent me the new drawings within a week. We were able to submit modifications to the city. The other Architect I was using kept using the excuse of the coronavirus as a reason for his delay but working with Donald really was such a pleasure. It really helped expedite our extension and also start the construction. and now we have a lovely play room for our kids to enjoy some of their indoor time and beat the heat. Thanks a lot everyone on your team.One thing I forgot to add, the cities comments were constantly asking for some elevations on our property and some architects including the original one kept insisting on a topographical survey which Would have cost us an additional thousand dollars. Donald was able to make the right assumptions and save us that money. And I really appreciated that extra effort. Thank you again
