“This Place is a Whole Mood.”Finding a working space to call home or one that you would want to constantly come back to sometimes seems impossible. Especially with me I like to move around and venture out. However there is something special about The Square. There are 3 coworking spaces, literally a mile from my home, but I love this place a lot. It’s conveniently located downtown Houston, a couple of blocks from the Redline. But the inside of this place is a whole mood, from the decor, to the amazing staff, and the outdoor view.From the first time I came to checkout the space on a deskpass (deskpass.com) with some friends, I felt like I belonged, I felt welcomed and that is a big plus in my book because some other spaces don’t have that feel. The internal and external amenities are also a big plus for me. They have Great Coffee!, great bagels, a flavored sparkling water machine (I love sparkling water), a beautiful outdoor terrace, pretty amazing sound proof privacy booths, and it is super clean. Perfect for environment for a creative, but also very Modern Corporate for anyone searching for that aestheticTheir working spaces are awesome. Lots of room to think and create, perfect lighting, comfortable chairs (a MAJOR plus). As a creative, I know that my surroundings inspire aspects my design. So to have an open space that that I can either create solo or invite my colleagues to collaborate is a MAJOR PLUS.As far as external, I’m literally in walking distance from great restaurants and bars for breakfast, lunch, or meeting up with your friends for happy hour, like Sambuca or Underground Hall. AMC theater is a couple of blocks away. I’m still learning Houston (Originally from Chicago) so there’s still a lot for me to venture out to.All of this to say…I consider this space my work home away from home. I don’t really have any negatives or cons when it comes to this space. I’m critical when it comes to my work environment so that says a lot. I have attended a number of meetings at The Square over the past 3 months, and every one has been a great experience. The rooms are comfortable, the technology works and the facilities are extremely clean.Ashley is a rockstar. Everything is always seamless and she goes above and beyond to make sure that we have everything we need. She definitely makes the experience.I recommend The Square to anybody that needs a space for just a meeting or a short / long term office.

We have been holding our client meetings at The SQ for over a year now and have been very impressed with the service and friendliness the staff has provided. They go above and beyond to make sure everything goes according to plan and they don’t skip a beat. The space is beautiful, modern, and clean. Their technology and AV equipment are perfect for our meeting needs and are user-friendly and ready to go! The convenient downtown location makes it an excellent meeting venue.Ashley has been amazing to coordinate with and her professionalism and communication are always appreciated! She has made sure we have everything we need for every meeting, even when we have last minute changes.Highly recommend!

I work for a small company and The Square has been a wonderful option for us! The staff treats everyone so well and go above and beyond. I enjoy coming to work and look forward to chatting with new friends. The space is beautiful and modern with so many amenities. Highly recommended!

This location was absolutely phenomenal! The space was lovely, comfortable and very bright. Everyone who worked there was incredibly helpful and friendly in every possible aspect. This is one of my favorite coworking locations nationwide.

Since August 2020, I have had an office space at The Square. I have enjoyed the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the space overall. I have 24 hour access to my office, have been able to utilize the conference rooms and phone booths for meetings and video calls and have been able to grow a small non-profit organization in the Theater District. Highly recommend if you are in need of a quiet and spacious co-working environment. Extra perks I enjoy are: continental breakfasts, snack time, happy hour, and holiday theme events.

The Square is an awesome co-working space. Comfortable environment, great views and workspaces and excellent staff that make it feel like your own office. Highly recommend.

Love the space. Theyre super accommodating, firendly, and welcoming. You can tell they work really hard to generate a sense of community among the tenants.The space is really clean and well kept, with a lot of natural light and a really good atmosphere. And the food and bev they provide at the community events are incredible.

The entire SQ team provide an exceptional level of service to all tenants at 717 Texas Ave. The high level of office amenities make this a great option for corporate clients and startups alike.

January 24th and 25th were my first time hosting meetings at this first class conference and office facility. The location, appearance and staff are all 5 Star! I will be back and passing along my experience to others in my corporate!

Amazing office space, super friendly staff, very upscale feel with an approachable vibe. Highly recommend for all your office needs. They provide GREAT service, wonderful amenities, and a great office space overall.

I will attempt to refrain from use of all known buzz-words in describing this highly modern, modular workspace. The Square is what we expect in a post-covid (hopeful) office. It provides around-the-clock amenities such as food and beverage (the coffee is always hot), access to private conference rooms ranging in size from highly personal two person to six, fifteen, and 40 person, and everything in between. Better yet, it boasts direct access to one of the finite terraces in downtown Houston. Take your computer outside for some fresh air while you grind through your meetings or daily tasks while all your neighbors are stuck asphyxiating on stale air in their concrete block prisons. This brings up my next point, which is the architectural integrity of the Squares space. Located on the 12th floor of 717 Texas (colloquially known as the Calpine Building, which is a misnomer due to the ever-felt presence that The Square is the most prominent entity among its 35 floors and four walls), The Square enjoys floor to ceiling windows in a building that is otherwise a nice soft granite façade. It is situated in the oldest part of Houston with a short walk to the theater district, world-class dining, and of course the financial and business centers of this city. Your 24/7 access means that you and your date on a night out or a theatrical outing can quickly jump across the street to exercise your privilege of private, clean bathrooms while others wait in line for lesser amenities. The bottom line is that The Square is a place to work that you will not hate coming to every day. Come by for a tour with Trent and Meredith and they will show you first-hand that my statements are facts.

We love THE SQUARE....we have been here a year and just renewed to a bigger place here! We love all the amenities and of course the people who work there!
