We had a great experience with Kimberly Castro. She was very knowledgeable, responsive and helpful throughout the process. If you are in the process and looking for best design center consultant go with Kimberly.

We had a great experience at the design center. Initially we had two appointments with Rachel and each one was awesome. She has extensive knowledge on all the products and really knows how to tailor what youre looking for and narrow things in a direction that best fits your style. Since its obviously very overwhelming to have so many selections, it makes it a lot easier to navigate those waters when your design consultant has that ability to pin down your aesthetic right away. She also recommended some adjustments to things here and there that we would have never thought of. Subsequent to our appointments shes been extremely helpful with any questions and concerns weve had. Weve been beyond happy with the design process as well as our whole experience with the David Weekley team. Rachel is a rockstar!!

We did not have a good experience with David Weekly. The base price is reasonable, everything is a mark up and very excessive. The person we worked with made several mistakes and mixed us up with other clients. They sent a form to us with pricing saying they would give us an 8% discount so we continued on believing we would get that off the base price. At the very end when we about to finalize and finish they said oh that was a mistake and wouldn’t even try to make restitution. We stopped everything, lost our deposit of $10,000. But found a new trustworthy builder. My recommendation is run!!

They dont have a lot of options for hardware and granite at the design center. They have a lot of cheap stuff and not a lot of nicer options. For example, I wanted sink faucets that were three hole, brushed nickel with a good amount of spout reach but they didnt have any with good reach. Thry also didnt have any nice large shower heads in brushed nickel. A few things werent brought up for us in terms of options such as shower/bath shelving. So we negotiated when they built it. The granite that we chose at the design center is a sample that has a cream base with some grain (level 7 I believe). When it was time to pick it out, they said that it has changed since they first started using it and they only had a darker gray base version of it. They didnt have anything else in a cream. And of course, they havent updated the sample at the design center. The granite that we did receive had major cracks in it and the granite company they worked with who provided it, told me to not step on it because of the cracks. I asked DW to fix this issue somehow and they never responded to me.

Good builder, great design center layout and the whole process is fun and easy experience, especially if you do your homework beforehand and get ideas from the wishlist and Pinterest as well as various model homes. Highly recommend Stacey K. for all your design needs!
