Be advised, this company has an F RATING and is non-accredited according to Better Business Bureau. They sold me a home with no grass in backyard, no shelves in closets, and no blinds on windows which i reluctantly accepted. Big mistake!!!Not a good investment. AVOID!!!

I do not recommend Legend Homes as a new home purchase choice. If you are in Katy / Houston area check out Sunterra, or builders like Lennar and DR Horton. Legend Homes have switched the warranty personnel three times in only one and a half year timeframe. I am still under warranty and Riley has had a consistent behavior of lackluster customer service and does not want to do his job.He has been consistently ignoring text messages, calls, and voicemails, and is rude on all interactions. I don’t know why someone would hire someone in a customer service role that has no customer service. I am posting my text message history where it shows he completely forgets about my requests, for example, details on the exact color and tint of my walls so I can repaint marks. He told me over the phone “ that it’s inside of my paper left under the sink cabinet. I have checked but it doesn’t specific about the interior walls. He clearly does not know that. When I called back saying it isn’t there, he simply said “well I don’t have that information” dismissing me. So am I supposed to just guess? I had to make him ask the painter! Do your job moron! Do your job!Other accounts of interactions he is quick to leave the house and comes at random times just to say “I was in the area and tried to assess your situation but you were not home.” Being a manager of Warranty, you should call and confirm an appointment time or window of timeframe. Even simple jobs do that, let alone a Warranty Department. We deserve better. Simply doing the bare minimum, and cutting corners at each possible opportunity.Months later now I am requesting help with my AC because I am waking up in the middle of the night with and he is just ignoring me. Steve Hanson called me eventually after emailing the warranty department (Steve tried to give good damage control of my situation, and has good customer service) and had stated Riley moved on to another department, but IS STILL WORKING FOR LEGEND HOMES. Steve also stated he will talk to Riley about the situation, but a week later I haven’t had an apology or even an acknowledgment of my situation by Riley. This is the type of person Riley is, and yet he is still with the company.Well, for the 3rd time they changed the person in charge! Even so, all other warranty personnels had at least told me that and referred me to the appropriate person/department to follow up my requests. Not the case with Riley! Families and working class citizens buy a new home to take advantage of WARRANTY CLAIMS and questions, not to pay Legend Homes your money just so they can pay unprofessional morons a big salary and then to treat you like you do not matter!!! I even asked for his manager and then he doesn’t even read it at this point! This is all before July 2024 and Hurricane Beryl hit and even now during the Crisis of Hurricane Beryl! These situations shows his true character, dismissive-ness, unprofessionalism and laziness!Just look at their yelp reviews “legend homes houston tx” it has over 20 unhappy customers and an average of 1.2 stars, ridiculous!Update one month later, 8/6/24: there has been no attempt from Legend Homes to remedy my situation, or even reply to this review.

I bought my home in 2017 (Evergreen Villas) I called the AC company for maintenance and discovered that they duct tape my pipes causing water to back up It was not the drains as I thought So they patched this house up to sell they are not right and it’s pitiful The project manager at that time name was Kevin and the sells manager was Maurice This has caused me money to correct They should never do this to anyone

I bought a home from legend homes Just about 2 years ago, theres been many problems With my home, I feel like my home was rushed to be made. And nobody really cared about what I wanted to get Fixed. To pay two hundred and fifty to maybe three hundred thousand dollars for a home As a first time home buyer I could say it wasnt my first great experience. There was many things wrong with the home and not a 100% of them were fixed. I got tired after putting in plenty of complaints. Even talk to certain people through email. From things not being installed right to miscellaneous things that needed to be fixed to actually be done the right way after the 1st 2nd and 3rd walk thru. The right way honestly I feel like selling my home and starting again Fresh in another neighborhood maybe a new one Maybe an old one, but this is definitely Not a good experience for my first time buying a home. The only great thing was Jordan the sales office agent

Me and my husband closed on our brand new Legend home January 13th,2024 and let me just say I haven’t had any problems. My lender Ms..Rachel, & Ms.Deborah communicated with me every step of the way with noooo problems. The appraisal was inexpensive & The inspections was inexpensive and there was only minor things wrong like ex: little nails on the side of the house , back yard latch was uneven , and the meter wasn’t completely nailed to the house but all of that was fixed before our final walk through 😁. The closing was simple and easy. My realtor Ms.Candy was also on point with everything and I’m thankful for her for helping Me find our beautiful home 🙏🏽🍾 Thank yall ❤️

I was called for a year straight, to give a review on our home, I have waited until it was completed, and we are still not there, however i am hoping this TO DATE review will some how get us heard and a call back.We built a brand new home with Legends/Princeton Classic homes. A Princeton series. The follow is pretty typical if you talk to anyone who has purchased. We were pushed into closing, with a laundry list of items that needed fixing from the roof to the driveway and AC and tons of interior items, with the promise they would all be fixed. it is now 2 and a half years, and with all the warranty items put in, we still have a laundry list. From Jeff the PM, to Steven, the first warranty contact, to now Steve, the warranty manager. We still do not have a place that is completed we call home. WE DO NOT EVEN HAVE A PHONE NUMBER TO CALL. Try reaching this company. Tell me how may instant voicemails you receive. Zero calls back. My neighbors got lawyers involved and I guess thats the next step. Instead of a company that was already paid, to come fix issues they causes by poor management and choice of trades.

🚨 DO NOT BUY A HOUSE FROM Legend Homes 🚨They do not take pride in their work AT ALL. Homes are thrown together as fast as possible and with no care or attention to mistakes/safety/common sense. We have had SO many issues in the year we have been here (Closed/Moved on 8/19/22). WARRANTY IS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Unresponsive and does not communicate properly for warrant repairs. They refuse to fix items that are DANGEROUS and CAUSED BY THEIR POOR WORK. Every warranty ticket we have submitted has been blamed on us as homeowners when none of it is our fault. They immediately argue to avoid fixing what they should, its absolutely ridiculous. Warranty repairs are not scheduled timely or with any care for the homeowners. One repair on loose boards took over a month, we had to live with our carpet cut causing tripping hazards the entire time and the carpet still has not been fixed properly. (Just one example of MANY issues weve had with warranty). We purchased this home as it was already being built and the warranty guy has blamed several issues on the plans they built from, as if they arent their plans? We had no say so in the plans, but some now things are our fault. Our door leading to the garage was not put in properly which has caused cracking on our door frame. Originally the cracking was blamed on us and we were told we hit the door with something. We did not hit the door with anything, there is no dents, scratches, or marks to back up their claim. We decided to have an inspection done before our warranty ended and turns out the cracking is because the door is not squared (completely uneven) and is causing excessive pressure on the frame. Ive had several conversations with our warranty person about this and now that we have a professional opinion & proof that it is their fault, he is claiming its not covered under warranty. LOL.ALWAYS GET AN INSPECTION BEFORE BUYING A HOUSE, EVEN A BRAND NEW ONE. The builder sweet talked us into thinking he actually took pride in his work, when in reality he does not. He sat and argued with me for 30 mins about our door, giving all kinds of excuses and NOT the truth. After having a professional look at it, I realize how dishonest he was and how he avoided fixing something costly. These builders do NOT care what they are moving you into and WILL take advantage of you. Especially the builders for Legend Homes. Ive had several people ask if Id recommend them and the answer is NO. 0/10. DO NOT GET STUCK DEALING WITH A NIGHTMARE LIKE US.

They do offer what seems to be affordable homes which are advertised at affordable prices and home owner warranty to put the buyer at ease. You’ll find out quickly the warranty is next to worthless. In 4 years of living in our new construction build, we have experienced 3 failures to the air conditioning unit totaling out of pocket expenses exceeding $2500. Several windows had broken seals which yielded a cloudy film being left between panes of glass. The vents on the roof leaked rain water within 18 months of a owning the home causing some internal water damage to our home. Each time when we inquire with them, they are slow to respond and tell us our repair is not covered by the warranty. We took on a complete remodel of the home to remedy all of the craftsmanship issues which existed due to shoddy work. These homes just go up too fast and there is a lack of attention to detail and/or quality of work. Now with the remodel behind us, our home is great with no lingering issues but you shouldn’t have to spend 10’s of 1000’s on a home that is less than 5 years old to make it right. Last point, when it’s not right for your customer, you should do everything in your reasonable power to make it right. This is where Legend just misses the mark.UPDATE: Shortly after posting this, the builder reached out to discuss our concerns. While that was appreciated, all prior efforts to work with Legend did not yield any outcome where they took responsibility for shoddy workmanship much less any action to remedy what we felt were warranty related issues, For example, when you have an in warranty claim with an air conditioning unit, you should not have to pay hundreds of dollars in labor costs for someone to come out to replace an in warranty part. After several failed attempts across various levels of leadership at the builder, we gave up on them addressing our concerns and hired our own contractor to do so. The purpose of my post is to ensure people understand the warranty the builder provides doesnt cover what you might think.

Unfortunately I had to back out of the home as the utility easement prevented me from adding a pool. I must say talking to Tanya R made this process extremely easy in getting my earnest money returned. Beautiful home just couldnt suit my needs at the moment. My sales adviser Michael made the process extremely easy. I have no complaints. Other than that I would have been a Legend Home owner.

We purchased our brand new house built by legend homes a little over a year ago. The entire experience has been a complete nightmare. Where do I begin??Let’s start with the most important, the house itself. Our inspection right before closing should’ve been our red flag to pull out; it was FIFTY PAGES long of failures! They addressed some of the stuff but it’s mind blowing how riddled with problems this house is that we’ve discovered over the past year of ownership. Here’s a few: multiple loose and buckling floor panels, poorly installed/loose kitchen sink, furnace installed improperly causing drainage issues, faulty HVAC including blocked vents, missing return vents in key locations and temperature imbalance across several rooms, leaking hose bibs outside, ALL doorknobs being loose, installation of dried out sod in my backyard, faulty appliances and the list goes on. I can’t even recall the number of times we’ve called Legend homes to have them come out to fix stuff under our 1 year warranty or stuff I just fixed myself because they either didn’t fix it “right” or I knew I could do it better myself (I’m not a tradesman, just good at DIY projects). To be truthfully honest, legend homes has been a problem long before we even closed. We had to fight with their financing tooth & nail because of poor communication. Legend Homes is absolutely the worst company you can ever buy a home from. They cut more corners than a cheap old man living off SSI. Save yourself the hassle and don’t let them turn your next dream home into a nightmare!

I am writing to you to let you know how disappointed I am with our new home from Legend Home. Last week, we bought our new home after Id read great reviews of it online and I liked the look of it. We are very disappointed with the service that we have received. Where do I start? My wife works from home, and Spectrum informed us that they have no plans to have internet or T.V. in our area until March of next year. Someone from Legend Homes dropped the ball on this community, not informing Spectrum or at&t that new homes were going up. Before moving into our new home, we told Logan and Eric several times that my wife is highly allergic to bees and wasps. For some reason, after Legend Home pest control guys came out multiple times, they are still swarming our property. Also, we dont have mailboxes, and the addresses cant be verified. My wife went to the post office and spoke to someone about the addresses. We had to get a P.O. Box for six months until the addresses were verified. We have a This has not been a pleasant experience for us. My wife works from home full time. How does she tell her boss, who lives in Utahs mountains, that we cant get internet access in the city? And we have had other several issues with our home. I am surprised that such a well-known and respected company could allow this many issues with a new home. I would also like an explanation of how was this was allowed to happen.

HOMEBUYER BEWARE: PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU WORK WITH ANY BUILDERS. ESPECIALLY LEGEND HOMES HOUSTON.IF YOU GET A GUT FEELING PLEASE DONT IGNORE LIKE I DID. KEEP MOVING.The workmanship..craftsmanship for a new home is so subpar that you will feel and know you settled amd was ripped off.My inspectors report should have been a clue. So many problems. I wish I had od backed out!!!!Once you close, they barely want to do any work to correct all of the mistakes made during the building process.Prior to my closing, I noticed the home was missing a window.. a whole window. I should have backed out then. After closing I noticed they installed the wrong size window in my kitchen. They are replacing it to keep me happy LOL. So they said. Not because they made an error. Also, they installed 3 other windows of the wrong functionWel...no function.. picturesque. They refuse to replace them.In the first week of my home, the toilets backed up because some plumber failed to remove the cap that allowed waste to enter the main sewer line. My yard was dug up.. and NO ONE FROM THE WARRANTY DEPARTMENT RESPONDED TO THIS CLAIM.. I HAVE A DEAD TREE THAT THEY REFUSE TO REPLACE. HAD I NOTICED IT WAS DEAD BEFORE CLOSING I WOULD HAVE REPORTED IT. They refuse to replace the tree. The tub is damaged and they refuse to replace it.The siding is already ROTTING. The siding that is supposed to be cement.. but it looks like particle board. The glue vinyl flooring is the cheapest and is already coming up. It is so bad that they dont even use it anymore LOL.. I have so many items on the list. The tub is damaged and they refuse to replace it.I am so disappointed in my new home that it literally makes me sick. Legend homes has ruined my happy transition to Texas.I DONT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.. NOONE!!!!!!!! I mean NOT ONE PERSONIf you a responsible enough to check reviews and run across this, I hope you make a well informed decision to prevent buyers remorse.I didnt list everything that has went wrong. STILL WRONG. The experience is 😖.

I purchased a home last month by this company in Maryland. Before the purchasing process I sat with a sales person named Katherine and we agreed over the installation upgrades to my flooring and I chose carpet flooring that matched the furniture that I was planning on purchasing for my home, also I payed extra for this upgrade service. The day they installed the carpet I went to see the final look, and I was surprised that it wasn’t the same carpet I chose, it was a different color, different thickness, and had a lower quality than what I was promised. When I contacted Katherine about this issue she told me that all the homes in this neighborhood had the same carpet, and she couldn’t do anything about it. Eventually I did a walk in with the builder and I asked again about this carpet and he told me that there are 3 different option I could’ve chosen and one of them was the option I chose at the beginning. Again I contacted Katherine and her explanation was that they were trying to cut costs which did not make sense due to me purchasing this upgrade with my own money, and I reminder her from the beginning that I’ve already chosen the material and color of the carpet but she ignored my requests. Without my knowledge they installed the wrong carpet and they refused to fix this issue. Now the carpet I have in my house doesn’t match the furniture I purchased, and I’m not happy with the color or material they gave me. I’ve been trying to contact them since last month about this issue but nobody has been answering. I’m hoping that they will do the right thing and install the carpet I paid for because I’m dealing with a large company that should care about their reputation and should be honest with their customers and deliver the right service.

Legend homes is the worst experience buying your first home. When me and my husband put down on our lot. No one told us we were sharing driveway with our neighbors. Than a year later the area manager comes tells that our driveway was survey wrong. Now they are trying to squeeze three houses close together in front of our homes. Trying to take away me my neighbors driveway so a third home can fit in my neighbors driveway. I’ve been putting in my request for my garage to get fix still no one has come to fix it. I will be seeking legal action against legend homes.

Purchased our 1st brand new home and it has been the worst experience ever. I do NOT recommend buying a home that legend homes has built. Our house just turned 3yrs old and we discovered in spring of 2021 that we have mold. After having it investigated by professionals it was found that they didnt properly seal the home nor install the HVAC system correctly for our home. We have a 2 story home and upstairs is very humid and traps moisture which caused the mold growth. The mold is on walls, furniture and has grown throughout our hvac system. They deny claims and wont help me correct the issue. There are atleast 10 to 20 other houses in our subdivision dealing with the same EXACT issue.

We went to legend home at evergreen villa hidden meadow and the sale representative Mauricio Handal provided us with horrible customer service. He provided us with incorrect information at the loan process, was dishonest about was included in the home, and was flat out rude. In addition, he would schedule appointments with us and would double book, and not show up. He would be at another location, such as, Kingwood. His response to us was well I have other customers. Thats great you have other customer, but why would you double book? He would not allow us to pick our own lender. I explained to him that we didnt want to work with their in house lender, because Sarah (mortgage broker) would not return our calls or emails. He made it feel like we had to use their lender, because of the incentives. We were fine without the incentives, because we would prefer to use a lender that return calls and email. We tried to get in touch with Sarah because she pulled my husbands credit twice and we wanted explanation to why she did this. On top of that she told us the wrong credit score for my husband initially and this is why we think she pulled it a second time without our permission. When we requested our paperwork back he refused to go get the paperwork and told the lender to FedEx us the paperwork. It was truly a nightmare. We loved the house, but I would rather work with another builder if this is how we will be treated. I would recommend that customer stay far away from legend home evergreen villa hidden meadow.
