Taylor Morrison Houston

I had a terrible experience with a Taylor Morrison house I bought in Bridgecreek, Cypress. Dawn Marie Guss is the worst warranty office I ever worked with. Been faced with multiple problems in a span of 3yrs from cracks in the foundation to non functional dehumidifier. When I built my house, it came with dehumidifier. Taylor Morrison hired a company that installed a non functional dehumidifier in my attic. My house is so humid and has started developing mold. I reached out to the warranty officer in the names of Dawn Marie Guss who totally ignored me when I brought my issue to her. Take you money to a more reputable builder like Westin, Coventry or Perry Homes.

Rita brumfield, kicked agents out because she stated we can’t get content and market it. This is the dumbest Taylor Morrison rule I ever heard. This rep is horrible, and should not be working because we bring clients in for Taylor Morrison to close. Please have a general manager reach out to me

Buyer beware! Do not buy a Taylor Morrison home...poor quality, workmanship and construction. Brand new house purchased barely 8 years ago has issues with the roof. Taylor Morrison cuts corners and likes to use people from the parking lot of Home Depot with no construction experience. I recommend any other builder except for Taylor Morrison.

The sales team and warranty team are pleasant to work with. The quality of the vendors used to build the home was horrible. Constant issues and mistakes caught by me during the build. Cutting many corners. We have been in the house for 2 months and continuous issues. The warranty team is responsive but the frustration of catching items done wrong and breaking never stops. We got ripped off considering the money we paid and the poor quality work done by the vendors. Regret buying this home and very disheartening. The poor quality was so shocking to me due to them being rated a top builder.

I do not recommend working with Taylor Morrison. We moved into a new construction neighborhood last September and went with the other builder option in the neighborhood. Taylor Morrison started building in the lot next to ours and we have had nothing but issues every since. From nails left all over the place, them cutting our underground Wi-Fi cable, & now they completely destroyed our fence and have not fixed it yet. The incident happened Monday, it is now Wednesday and we were told they would be fixing it today, which did not happen. They have terrible communication and problem resolution skills. I have never had such a terrible experience. Please do your research before choosing Taylor Morrison to build your next home. If zero stars was an option, that’s what my rating would be.

Buyer beware! These guys don’t want home inspection done before you purchase a home. The even tried to silence a home inspection because he was finding so many thing’s wrong with their homes

Be wary about the vicious builder. If you want to buy a Taylor Morrison house, THINK TWICE!!!First of all, have dealt with lots of issues since moved in: cracks on the ground, sheetrock, leaking roof, leaking sink. The warranty is like a joke. They responded one month after reporting issue and blamed homeowner on poor maintenance that caused the cracks in the grout of the ALL bathrooms which caused leaking water damage. The warranty guy is rude and cruel. Never want to deal wit this kind of jerk again. But keep me posted for class action lawsuit. Definitely will join to sue them out of business.

Dont buy from this builder - Taylor Morrison has poor business ethics, and once you have signed on the dotted line, you are no longer considered a customer - you are now just revenue for them. Alden Trails flooded and no one could get in or out of the neighborhood for 3 days. They also cancelled a contract without any documentation in place and refuse to refund the earnest money OR even the money paid in advance for upgrades. I dont see a bright future for Taylor Morrison. Keep me posted if there is a class action lawsuit developing.

Well! I would like to beware all the new home buyers about the customer service Taylor Morrison Provides after the closing. I am having a horrifying experience even after six months of closing the builder has failed to take care off stuff they promised to complete as soon as the closing was done. Please Please Please before closing house check everything is completed and if you will be promised about the completion of some stuff after the closing then please do not bank on that promise at all. right now they do not have enough people to take care of complains made by homeowners and it takes any where in between a month to more then two months and when you complain they would say calmly they are under staff this is just ridicules.I have been complaining to three Individuals and had to repeat same stuff to all, they do not even keep a proper record of complains.So please be aware of this problem and before signing contract please include an addendum about after the house closing service.Also please check each stage of the construction, please keep a very close eye while construction is going on, else you will regret a lot when you will have a final product with some defect in it.They say they are quality home builder but I did not experience that at all - the sales staff is the only good thing they have but the construction crews not at all as good as sales team - so please please please ask couple of home owners about their experience before you sign anything!please contact me if you need anymore details.

Terrible quaility, worse customer service. Master shower faulty construction. Shower Bench seat made of osb. Family decreased health over the year we lived here. Pulled cabinet away from wall black mold everywhere. Tile on drtwalll no backerboard. Smell terrible. TM will do nothing. Internet search shows they are used to class action suits. Dont mean we wont try.

Please do a little research before making a large investment here. They will live up the the reputation of not standing by their quality.Warranty is simply useless, which is unfortunate because the quality after a year is more than apparent. Multiple drywall cracks, dead landscaping, cracked concrete, and poor workmanship in not so obvious places.

Stay away from this builder, absolutely the worst builder in the world. Lots of problems, low quality, would not response your warranty tickets, one small issue will take about a year to address until you get exhausted. Stay away!!! I would give it 0 star if I can.

House had plumbing problems 3 years after and they keep patching up the problem instead of fixing. They will be receiving a lawsuit soon pertaining to all the patch ups they have done!

It is hard to get warranty dept to call back. Less than one year old home has malfunction of sprinkler, electric issue and roof leaking.

Love the house but the broken promise after excuse after excuse got really old. Poor management and customer service. The favorite excuse was “we are just sooo busy”.

I would like to share my experience as well I should be closing soon not sure when but all issues and their bad work while construction a lot of mistakes we correct till now when I read what other people wrote I felt scared, please if any can help before I close how I cancel all this with getting my money back.I wish I read comments before I evolved of this mass

My house was built by Taylor Morrison and they did a horrible job. I am paying alot of money now to fix it.

Called for my engineering drawings. They will not provide them to the home owner. Period.

Every new place I go to in Houston just helps me to get to know TX more. This is another must visit for tourist and just new people to Houston.
