I currently live here. Ive only been in my apartment for a month. My kitchen light has been out for 3 weeks, theyve evidently lost their handyman and are out of bulbs, Ive asked that the one in my closet are be moved to kitchen and its still not done. I will be doing it myself when my dad brings me a step ladder this next week. The weekend staff is great, the weekday staff including office seem stressed and sometimes just like they want to wave you off or not bother with what you have to say. Ive not had any problems with any residents, except asking for cigarettes. The other residents that do have a service animal do not keep them on leashes when out and about and I dont believe that is right. You do need to make sure that you keep the outside of your door clean because they do get really dirty and look gross. The microwave seems to work fine. The bathroom is fine. The water in bathroom is great pressure and gets hot. I like that you can move the bed in what direction that you want. The desk area is great for my crafts. The kitchen is fairly large for a handicapped studio but the water doesnt get hot, its barely warm. The living area/bedroom is decent size. Reminder that this is a handicapped room. The photos are from the initial meeting and then my first load of items that was put in room. I dont feel comfortable posting what Ive decorated it as now.
Yall need to share your Wi-Fi password it aint right we cant even get the kind of internet we need to do what we need to do.So many changes should be made for the greater good of why this place is here! For instance, residents do not have access to high speed Internet. The only option available is for very outdated DSL at speeds far below the threshold of the low end of high speed (25 mbps) the max available to them is on 3 Mbps AND is offered at the same - not higher - costs that my Internet coats where I get 150 -300 Mpbs
I called today and spoke with a lady who was very rude to me. I called at 3:00 on a Sunday. She was so rude it put myself in a very bad mood. I’ll be makeing a formal complaint, as she wouldn’t tell me her name to complain.
I stayed at this facility for 1 year and it was one of the my best decisions ever. If we keep in mind that this is a transitional facility, it will help propel you into your future. While here I was able to find a job and move into my own apartment. Any place you go in life, will you get to where you need to be if applied correctly.
One of the worst place to live. I admit this place is clean. But the staff here are rude. When you make a complaint nothing is done. There are drug heads running around this place all the time. I sign into a lease for a year and now regret my choice. I would choose to be homeless again if the broken lease wouldnt follow me a round. I am telling you stay clear of this place. P.s I am a tenant who is moving out in November. But I do currently live here in February 2017.
I dont know what you guys have heard about this place, but I am a residence here and its not a BAD place at all!! as you know it is an SRO so of course the rooms are small but its enough space to move around, watch tv, eat, & shower. its quiet at night and the staff here are very friendly. most residents here are elderly. its not a lot of young faces.
Best Kept Secret in the Neighborhood.Curb Appeal was very nice ..except for the People hanging outside in front and smoking in non-smoking areas. It seems as though the Residents are bringing down the value & appeal of the Property. Perry is a Jewel that needs a bit of polishing. Overall: Above Average
I like the property but the management and some staff members are beyond lack luster. They have no ethics for one, as I and my case worker were told they were gonna accept my voucher. The manager Ashley tikd pay the rent or move when she brought the eviction notice to my apartment. She acted as if and didnt know about the incident but she was the one my case worker was speaking with during the process. Mary one of the receptionist made me feel low down, Im blind and she gives directions around the building with an attitude and says over there knowing Im visually impaired and use my blind cane to help guide my steps. Ashley also told me there was no rent moretoruym. Im filling an official complaint with HUD thank god for the new administration. And it took almosst a whole month to get my light replaced. Thanks to a lady named Pinky I was able to get a lamp for my kitchen because as a legally blind person I had no light to cook under.
They are asking me to move out and they had me sign paperwork and never let me read the paper work or gave me a copy of thepaper work.
I love this place it is my home and where I work. My manager / boss is the best there is. She really goes out of her way for her tenants
Very nice place and secure. My father use to live here and he never had a problem.
YOUR own place great staff they will help you start off fresh hope this is the place to come.
Wouldnt suggest it. They lie and never give strait answers. Had a family member pass away there and stuff came up missing and never could get any answers. Management avoids you.
