The technician(s), were both courteous and professional. AirCon installed my a/c units and due to scheduling issues, I used a major plumbing and a/c company to do routine service. They broke a schraeder valve and all my refrigerant leaked out. We were without a/c in our bedrooms for 5 days. Lakota and another technician fixed the issue and had us cooling again. The cost was extremely reasonable in this messed up economy. I look forward to only using AirCon for my future needs.
I could not be happier with the response time, service level, and comfort in our home! We have used Aircon services for both AC units as well as all new duct work! They do an awesome job, carry great brands, offer a maintenance service, and walk you through the entire scope of the job! It’s hard to find a contractor that you can know the quality of the work and the integrity in the completion is always present but this team is the real deal! Not happy with the service after . We were promised a part that had to be ordered and even after calling to see when it would be delivered never hear back or received the part for a brand new unit. Now 2 years later the capacitor went out and we had to spend $340 for a new one, thats with the warrantied part to be exchanged and labor. Definitely not happy with the unit they sold us or the service 2 years ago. Come to find out our unit doesnt have an emergency switch to shut it off and protect the capacitor. Cheap unit we paid $4745 for.
All of the servicemen were polite, considerate and open to answering questions about the job, both for me and my wife. I trust their expertise and diligence in getting the job done beyond our expectations.
Air Con Service Tech Enzo did an excellent job running down the multiple issues on our system. Diligent, competent and able to explain technical issues to a lay person.
They installed my AC and Furnace last March(2019). Refrigerant leaked out every three month from AC. After one year, I still ended up a leaking AC system. We paid a brand new Lennox XC16 system that does not work. Horrible experience...It is 8/6/2023. After repairing a few times in 4 years, the AC still does not work, see the picture. After sending a tech here, the problem is never solved, 9/3/2023, see pictures.
I called Air Con because my thermostat would not run properly when set to Program (as opposed to Manual). The tech came out and said he could only get the thermostat to work when set to Manual and it would cost $800 for a new thermostat. I called another company and they promptly fixed the old thermostat. The tech took me into the attic to show me:1. A badly leaning HVAC system that had been placed on top of inversely installed HVAC support stands (see pictures). The HVAC system is leaning toward the water line and I was warned the HVAC might break the water line and the HVAC system might fall over.2. The HVAC system was only open to pulling air from one side, when it should have been open on both sides so it could pull more air.3. The wiring had not been replaced when the new unit was installed, and official Lennox wiring practices were not followed (at a minimum the yellow and green wires were reversed).He said a permit must not have been pulled to install the unit, because it would not have passed inspection.We then went outside, where he showed me that the newer unit (installed about 2 years ago) was already leaking coolant.
Very knowledgeable tech (Enzo). He was on time and very friendly. I feel like I learned a lot about my own system during his visit. I have used Aircon for years and have never had a bad experience. The price was very reasonable and my system is better than ever!
Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish on an emergency after hours A/C repair. The office answered very quickly and the woman I spoke with, NOT a robot, was super sweet and personable, she represents her company very well. The fee to come out was $200 less than any other company AND the others wouldn’t come out until the next day at the earliest. However, Lakota called me within 10 minutes, only took 20 minutes to arrive. Received a text with a photo to make sure we knew who to expect. He was one hell of a professional. Super easy to talk to, had no problem showing me what he was doing to demonstrate what the problem was and I felt their parts prices were very reasonable. He didn’t try to upsell me even when he did the full check of the whole system. Was back on and cooling within 30 minutes. And I couldn’t be more happy with the whole experience. 10/10 will be calling again to have my Mini Split serviced. Didn’t do it today because Lakota needed to go save 2 other customers days. From the office and their employees to the prices, only place to call for your A/C needs!!!

He also explained the system usage of the same voltage for the best communication of the system to avoid the shortage. He explained the check on Halo system as he checked the wire attached and adjusted them accordingly. We contacted Aircon to give us a quote to replace both of our AC units. The designer arrived and spent almost two hours gathering information and asking questions. We were very clear that we were getting quotes from several companies and would proceed from there. We stressed that we would not be making a decision today. The designer began to pressure us for a follow up appointment to present their quote. we explained that we didnt want to do that and would just like to have the quote to review and decide. She refused to do that, and then sent an email saying they could not provide a quote given the time constraint we placed on her. The entire experience felt like a high pressure car dealership. My feeling is that if you wont give me your quote without a meeting to explain why your quote is so high, I cannot afford do do business with your company.

Update: We had a compressor under warranty go out when Texas was under a 100 degree heat wave. AirCon made sure we were comfortable while getting a new one. They installed the new one last week and it is working great. The care and service by both the office and technicians were great.

I have always been very happy with AirCon- returned from vacation on a Sunday night to a non- working AC - within an hour I had an assessment and a plan was in place- it couldn’t be executed that evening because of access to the specific part- but everything was remedied by noon on Monday. I recently had an air conditioner issue at my home in Webster. I called Air Con and they were able to send a technician out to my home the next day.The technician, Kennedy, was very professional and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to fix my air conditioner in a timely manner.
I came home to a 90 degree home and AC not working at all. I called, on a Sunday, and had a tech at my home within an hour. The problem was diagnosed (blower motor) and fixed the next day in less than a 24 hour turn around. The tech was extremely professional, efficient and knowledgeable. All in all very happy with my choice to call Aircon.
Our AC died on a Sunday morning with the hottest weather happening in a few years. Kennedy came out on an emergency call and gave us the news that we needed to consider replacing our nineteen-year-old system. He was able to get a Comfort Advisor to come in when we were available to give us suggestions regarding the size of our house and what we were able to afford. All of this happened on Sunday. We are very happy with the service. We will be having our system installed this week. We have used Aircon for years and would never consider any other company.

Jody and his apprentice did a professional job when they came out to balance the New Air ducts which AirCon had installed earlier. The A/C system is working more efficiently. They wore boot shields to protect our floors and carpet, Jody explained procedures and showed us the results before and after Balancing. Our A/C unit is running less and providing equal air flow in each room. A great experience in all.

Recently had a tune-up done on my two 16 year old units by AirCon for the first time and must say I received excellent service by Walter. He was very thorough in doing the work and diagnosing issues with one unit cooling. I felt he was very honest in explaining issues and provided me a detailed estimate for replacing one unit in the future. I appreciated that unlike other contractors that have serviced my AC he did not try to sell me a new unit after only 5 minutes on the job. All in all I am very satisfied with the work done for the price and will really consider going with AirCon for future installation. Highly recommend you give them a try for any AC problems.
AirCon installed a whole new AC & heating system for me in 2019, and everything was as painless and pleasant as can be! They even brought me a strong portable AC to keep me cool until the install was complete. My AC had a hiccup a few weeks ago, but AirCon took care of it immediately, warranteed out the part, and fixed it right up at no cost. Service Manager Jody was awesome, expeditious, and took great care of everything. Kathleen, Jason, Steven, the install team and everyone else there are wonderful and have treated me like family. They were incredibly prompt with their service, having a technician arrive 30 minutes after placing a phone call. The technician, Ryan, was able to quickly diagnose the problem on our condenser unit and replaced the parts that had failed. In all, the service call was resolved in about an hour. I was very pleased with the results and, although a service plan option was introduced to us when we were presented our invoice, it wasnt pushed too hard on us, which I appreciate. I would recommend their service, especially considering I selected them because of their high rating on Google.

I have used Aircon Service Company since 2014. I think their techs are professional. I was hesitant about replacing my coils and condensers due to the cost, but their quote was better than the competition and the techs did a great job. I will continue to use their services in the future. Also of note: their sales professional did a great job of explaining the options.
( 1 week post install) While no one wants to replace their entire A/C and heating system, sometimes we just have to. I personally installed my system in 1995, when I bought my home, as I was in the HVAC world at that time. With the need to replace the system, I found the experience with AirCon to be excellent, as I started with a high bar in the first place. Their initial contact with a sales and installation tech was professional and forthright. He evaluated my current situation, performed heat load calculations, including existing insulation and U-values on my new high efficiency windows etc. Then he listened to my concerns and expectations and offered me appropriate options, without a hard sales pitch.The install crew as right on time, worked all day installing new condenser, evap-coil, furnace, discharge plenum, return air plenum, transition and new line set. This was a full system replacement minus duct work.Upon completion I was shocked to find the transition even contained an access panel. The crew cleaned up the attic area, and even vacuumed out the garage floor with all the fine insulation that inevitably left behind with this type of install. The crew was professional, and the overall installation was everything I expected.Wasn’t the cheapest bid/proposal I received, but there is value in the execution and confidence they have provided, and Im pleased with my choice. Thank you AirCon, I will be recommending you to others.
Ive used aircon several times for maintenance and just had a new HVAC replacement. Theyve always been very professional and have solid work.My replacement was done in the attic of a two story townhouse in 105 degree temperature. These guys worked their butts off and never a complaint. Always yes sir when I asked a question. Thats pretty amazing.Update: well I may of spoke too soon. It turns out the installers did not hook up the baffle that directs air to the upstairs and down stairs. Aircon did come out and fix it the next day but it wasnt even hooked up. Which means the installers didnt even check their work. The big one was that they didnt tighten a gas line all the way and there was gas leaking for 24 hrs next to my 6 year olds room.Also today the City of Houston inspected the work and failed it. There were electrical wires run across air ducts and gas lines and the inspector said its a fire hazard. Im in real estate and have bought a lot of HVACs over the years. This has turned out to be the worst install. I expect more for a $18k install!2025 edit: our unit continues to work great. I will say that they have very good highly trained techs. Kennedy is especially good. Upping to 4 stars.

Ive been having issues this year where the HVAC stops cooling; but when the technician comes to investigate, the system is within normal operating specs. Aircon techs have provided hours of investigation effort and identified a likely intermittent culprit, as well as an inexpensive solution. Im thankful for their diligence in working to find resolution.

After reading all the Google reviews my husband and I decided to go with AirCon. First rate customer service! Will was excellent! He was on time from the courtesy call we received this morning. He knew within a few seconds what the cause of the noise was. He took out the old part and replaced the blower wheel in about 2.5 hours. He was friendly and even checked the heater to make sure it was working as well before he left. We were very pleased and will definitely use them again

This is a fantastic company. I woke up this morning to an 83 degrees house. I called a couple of the larger companies and found they had no openings available for service during business hours. One scheduled me for the next day and the other offered their after hours service for $150 service fee. I found AirCon in the yellow pages on my cell phone and they scheduled an appointment for a few hours later. Once off the phone, I began to worry because of the quick availability so off to the computer I went to research the company. Much to my surprise, I read at least 30 or more reviews and they all were good. A lot of the people went on and on positively about one particular service person, who I thought to be a female because the name was Jody. After reading enough reviews to put my mind at ease, I go on with my day as much as possible since we are in Houston and central air is a must. Finally, I receive the call notifying me they are on their way. I asked, how long before he or she arrive since we were out running errands. We both arrive at the house around the same time. I was greeted by a professional, young man named Jody. :-) He asked where was the thermostat and the outdoor unit and then went to work. After approximately 5 or so minutes he had discovered the problem. He repaired the broken wire, replaced a part and add Freon for well under $500 dollars. He also educated us on our unit which is 12 years old without trying to coax us into purchasing one from their company, like the previous company that came out last year. My husband spoke with him over the phone and commented a few times that evening about how knowledgeable Jody was and the professionalism of the company. Oh yes, I forgot to mention he was wearing a company uniform. We were very pleased and will be using AirCon as our personal air condition company.
This our 2nd service with AirCon. They are great. Appointments are easy to make and schedulers are very nice. I received email with the name & picture of the technician coming. The scheduler called to let me know Jody would be coming & if it was OK if he came earlier. Jody fixed our problem (leak due to a loose screw) very efficiently & hes a really nice guy. It takes a lot for me to use the same company again & Im very impressed with this company. So far every employee Ive had contact with has been great (last year a crew of 4 came to fix our AC & they were nice & efficient too). Keep up the great work!
AirCon replaced my A/C and my furnace. Their bid was competitive with all the other bids I received. They arrived on time and were very professional. They completed the work in one day, and they cleaned up everything very well. I have used them for a few years for maintenance. They are always quick to respond and I never feel like they are out to repair something just to make money. Their workers have always been on time, friendly, and professional.
I got my yearly HVAC maintenance this week. My technician, Kennedy was professional and thorough. He spotted a clogged line that could potentially cause me big problems. He cleared it an let me know that my system was otherwise in great shape.

Dave C. is the technician they sent out to fix our A/C unit and let me tell you, hes the best repairman ever to set foot in this house. He was completely honest with us, made sure we understood the issue and the solution, and he was also extremely concerned for my grandmothers well-being since our A/C was out. Overall, I couldnt be happier with the service we received.
We hired AirCon to totally replace both of our air conditioners, heaters, thermostats, and all ductwork. These units are some of the latest most-efficient air conditioners available, and because of that, have many settings that need to be set just right. We have had several problems in unit performance these first few months, but AirCon representatives have stuck with us and have continued to come to our house to make hardware changes and optimizing settings, until very good performance from our units. Jody and Wade particularly have been excellent, in every aspect of what they have done. AirCon truly stands by their customers, and I would highly recommend them.

We received outstanding service from real HVAC professionals quicker than was expected. Jody and Steven took the time to properly diagnose the problem and correctly repaired what was required to return our system back to like-new conditions. They also took the time to properly teach me the intricacies of our system that even the home builders did not bother with -- all of this at a price that beat the the HVAC guy who was there the previous day to fix our system. My experience from first phoning office to find out about prices and to arrange an appointment to service my sons a/c unit, was very good, very friendly and helpful. The next day William called ahead as arranged to say he was on his way, well within the time discussed. William was very friendly and professional. He checked the unit and said it was all good, except the friend was a bit high, he sorted it out and put ours minds at rest that the system was good. I have no problem in recommending this company.

I just bought an existing home. The upstairs has been hot the last couple of weeks, so i called an HVAC contractor recommended by a family member (not AirCon). The first (unnamed HVAC contractor) said I need to replace the outside condenser unit. I thought I was in for a $4-5k bill.Calling AirCon was my second opinion, based on a recommendation from a trusted friend, for a second opinion to solve my problem with the upstairs A/C.Scheduling them was a breeze. The AirCon Tech arrived on-time, came in and asked questions to see what my problem was. He then began a thorough troubleshooting process checking both the inside (attic) and outside units. He checked voltages, amperage, temperatures, static pressure, etc. Very thorough with many trips inside/outside and upstairs to the attic!The problem ended up being closed registers in several rooms. Apparently the previous homeowner closed them to paint them and never reopened them. He also recommended adding a couple of lbs. of freon to get the pressures from the bottom of the normal range to the middle to ensure everything was squared away.This two-pronged approach fixed the problem (hot upstairs). The Tech even helped me get the Nest thermostats configured on my wi-fi network and app on my phone! Service is a virtue these days! When you find it, you tell others so it can be supported and sustained. Im now a new, and intend to be, a long-term customer of Air-Con!
Based on many good reviews I elected to go with a competitive quote from Aircon on dual Lennox units of single speed 3 ton (upstairs) and 4 ton (downstairs) blower and coil capacity with slightly lower condenser capacity per their recommendations. The downstairs unit has worked great from day one. The upstairs unit turned out to be 1/2 ton undersized after tuning the system blower speed and 410A refrigerant settings and not being able to keep up with a 75F setpoint during HIGH demand July days in Seabrook. What the reader of this piece should take away is that the managers and service team choose to address the problem professionally and in a way that was courteous to our family. There was a sense of urgency to address our concerns and what I am the most impressed with is when the decision came to replace the outside condenser unit with a 1/2 ton higher capacity, they did not hesitate to honor the warranty. They always work my problem into their busy schedule. Their service team is reliable, respectful and competent. They not only resolve your problem, they share their professional opinion and knowledge to help you better understand how your equipment works. All cost and repairs are discussed with the customer before work is done so you are in charge of decision-making. Work is performed in a timely manner. Jose arrived early, quickly got to work, explained his diagnosis, completed the repair, and double-checked everything to make sure he didnt leave anything behind and that the AC was working properly. He was courteous and professional. This is the second time I have used this company, and I have been impressed both times. Great honest service. Wanted to replace aged furnace due to an inspection last year by a different company and found a good deal from AirCon for installation of 3 tone furnace for less than the quote of the other service. Inspection technician pointed out it needed a 4 tone (that previous service did not indicate). Additional cost was carefully explained with reasonable prices. Office staff kept me informed of permit process that turned out was not necessary in my location and sent an e-mail with profiles of installers who were on their way. Installers came with everything they needed to complete the job in less time than predicted, with everything cleaned up and working great.
Bad install. Very poor service. On going problems since the install (see pics - ask any A/C guy and theyll tell you this is wrong - but would you know it if you saw it - I didnt). They talked me down by telling me they were a Christian company. I regret being nice - they took advantage of me.Service Manager Mr. Mapp will not return my call. He will only provide service through e-mail? Heres what he wrote to me: Due to my being in an out of the office all day, I prefer to resolve these types of issues via email, so I will not be calling you to discuss this as having a paper trail is often best for ensuring clear communication.Funny, the sales people were all too happy to call me and come to my house. Now that I ask them to look at their work, they can only deal with me by email.They will install your a/c wrong. When you find out a few years later they will deny it.

I had been having an intermittent problem with my furnace for a few years, had it checked and they could not find the problem. I contacted AirCon and Arthur came the next day. He was very courteous and took the time to test and be sure my furnace was working properly before leaving. The charge was very reasonable. I am extremely satisfied with the service I got. My furnace has been working normally since then. I would recommend AirCon to anyone.
Used them to evaluate our AC system once years ago, now Im getting SPAM calls from them. I realize the new owner wants to maximize revenue but cmon, man...dont we all have enough unwanted calls/emails/texts to deal with? Rely on great service to bring in/back your customers, not some random college kid trying to sell me a tune-up.

He arrived per my appointed time, was very professional, and performed my AC check-up thoroughly and efficiently. He explained his findings completely and answered all of my questions. Our experience with AirCon began last week when Technician Logan showed up to service our AC. He was extremely professional and respectful. I casually asked him whether AirCon would provide me a free estimate for a new system (two units). He immediately called and a comfort advisor showed up about an hour later at our house. The comfort advisor, Jim, also was very professional, respectful, and courteous. But, beyond that, he spent over 5 hours in the attic and talking to me to explain to me what needs to be done and what my options were. After that, he gave me detailed and precise quotes for three different systems. I felt so much trust towards Jim and AirCon that I didnt even try to get quotes from other places. All I did was research the three different Lennox systems that Jim gave me quotes for. Furthermore, I asked Jim if I could get a discount if I chose to get two new units (not just one) installed. Within a day, Jim got me a new quote with a very good discount. By the end of the day, we decided to go with AirCon. Jim showed up again so that we sign the agreement to do the installation. While here, he called and scheduled a time for the installation. About four days latter the installation began. For the two units and duct work, the installation took 3 full days. In each of these full days, both technical doing the work, Hector and Thomas, were very professional and courteous, just like Logan and Jim. They were very respectful and quiet while doing all the work. Any time I had a question, Hector explained things to me (I was curious about things). When they were done, it took a few minutes to get all the paperwork signed, to get all the info materials, and to pay the bill. All in all, an outstanding experience and I highly recommend AirCon (I worked with two other companies before and I wouldnt recommend either; I wont list their names here). Thank you AirCon for this wonderful experience.

Upgraded to exceptional service!I wish they had more than five stars for AirCon Service Company right across the street from Mollys. They have a rigorous training program for technicians. AirCon replaced my duct work last year. Very professional. Their customer service is outstanding!I have to upgrade my rating for AirCon Service Company. This house is 51 years old and there was one grill that always dripped. In 18 years numerous A/C companies have told me I needed a new A/C system to correct it. AirCon worked their butts off until they fixed it. They had to replace a register and the grill. It was so old it had never been insulated. Now its fixed ... so I can sell it.
Great experience! I called late on a Friday evening knowing my 16 year old AC unit had seen the last of its days. David was out to my house on Saturday morning, went through all of my options for a new unit, warranty, labor, and proposed the options that made sense for my home (instead of trying to nickle and dime me for something that I did not need). The office even moved my installation appointment earlier by 3 days because we had no AC at the house. The installers came out, very professional and got the job done clean and efficiently. The office called 2 days later to check up on the installation, see if everything was going well and scheduled for the AirCon inspector to come out and check out the installation to make sure everything was done correctly. A company I would recommend for sure.
I leaned on AirCon three different times to fix my AC unit at home (because I did not listen to their advice the first time; i should have). The staff on the phone were very professional and courteous. They responded to my need within timely manner. The technician who came out was very polite, professional and listened to my input. He explained the problem to me; then gave me additional tips on how to keep my AC unit debris-free. He took his time even though at that point it was after normal business hours. I called on AirCon again and asked they come check the unit out because we thought it was making some noises. They came; they checked; they ruled out any additional problems; and they did not charge anything extra to do that. I did end up having to replace the compressor. The technicians who came out were super professional. They truly do go beyond. Their office called the day after each visit to check if i were satisfied with the visit and/or if i had any concerns with their service. My wife and I were out and about few months later. The technician recognized us; he introduced himself and asked if were still happy with the service. I refer my patients to AirCon.
This team who arrived my home were friendly and sat down with me to explain what they were going to do with my A/C system. Once they made my assessment it was good to here my A/C system was good. They also gave me some suggestions to improve upon my system. I am also in AirCon Service Plan reasonable they take the worries or preventive maintenance. Great team Great company.

Excellent Service. Very thorough. Jody, the lead tech, told us we should have our water heater (in the attic) checked out, as it was leaning. He even gave me a referral to a plumbing service. The water heater is in a dangerous condition and will be replaced immediately, thanks to AirCon tech being so alert. Highly recommend AirCon.
Just had two complete systems and my duct work replaced by AirCon and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! I had a unit replaced at a previous house by another company and I am amazed by how much more I got for my money with AirCon. The technicians were very professional, worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. They even moved my equipment slightly to make more room in my attic! Then Cheryl at the office registered all my equipment for me so I didn’t have to bother with it! I would highly recommend using AirCon - they go above and beyond!
I had submitted a service request to AirCon and they quickly responded and sent Jody. Jody was very professional and informed me of the issue with my ac unit and fixed the problem. In the final analysis, AirCon agreed to waive the customary service charge since I had a recent repair done by them. I thought their action was very admirable and a good way to keep me as a customer. Dai with AirCon took his time and performed a thorough inspection including both outdoor and indoor equipment. He noted a small problem and took care of it immediately. He also noted a couple of maintenance concerns that can be addressed over time, and made suggestions for improvements within the existing system. Very impressed, and will not hesitate to use again.

I have used AirCon for several years now. I first contacted them through Angies List after I woke up one Saturday morning and found my air conditioner was not working. At the time, these people did not know me from Adam. Anyway, this was a hot summer Saturday morning when I called and to my great relief a service specialist was able to come to my home that day and correct the problem. I felt the price to correct the problem was reasonable and the service was excellent.Sense that time I have used AirCon to check my air conditioner and heater ever six months.AirCons service specialist Will has provided this service to my home, every 6 months, for the past 3 or 4 times. I feel he does a very outstanding job. He is very knowledgeable and goes about his service in a very orderly and clean way. With out exception, I would recommend Will and AirCon to anyone requiring air conditioning or heating service. I have used many air and heating companies in my lifetime and have found AirCon the best. The best company and the best service specialist.
I contacted AirCon after reading the positive reviews and ratings from several sources. Will came out to service the A/C system and found the evaporator coil had several leaks. He was on time, professional and advised me he could temporarily repair the system, but the evaporator coil would need to be replaced at some point. He gave me a written contract on what the cost would be to replace the coil. I then scheduled an appointment, for a few days later. I was contacted a day prior and the morning of, and advised the installers would arrive shortly. A few minutes later, Matt, Chad, and Brandon were at my residence and installing the new evaporator coil. They were prompt and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and discussed any questions I had. I did sign a service contract, which I have never done before with anyone, but from the time I contacted AirCon to the time they completed the work, everyone was friendly, prompt, and professional.
My air conditioner was draining quite a bit of water out of the outside drain. This was my first experience with AirCon and I am extremely impressed with the company and the staff. I spoke to Kim on the phone and she scheduled Patrick to come out that afternoon. Patrick arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. He spent a lot of time checking my air conditioning system and diagnosing the problem. Patrick was very patient, answered all my questions and made sure I was satisfied with the work before he left. I will request Patrick whenever I need service in the future because he is AWESOME! I highly recommend this company and especially Patrick!
Awesome Service! After spending several days waiting for other companies to come, a friend recommended AirCon. I called them on an extremely cold day, late in the afternoon, because my heater wasnt working and they fit me into their schedule. They arrived after hours, before the time they promised, Ricky was thorough, and explained exactly what was wrong, fixed the problem, and offered suggestions on my system. He answered all my questions, didnt not try to rush, and did not try to sell me anything and was honest. I will definitely be using them again in the future.
This Service was for a general AC check up. The scheduler for AirCon called the day before for a reminder and the office called also on the day of the service. The technician was very punctual. He explained exactly what he was going to do and what areas he was going to cover. I asked him a lot of questions to learn about the proper AC maintenance and he explained all of it very professionally. He Showed me the results of all the tests he performed and discussed steps to correct them. Quite pleased with the service. Will use them again.

We have come to expect good service from Aircon, because they are consistently GREAT throughout the process. We get a call confirming appt. We get a call that Tech is on the way and approx arrival time. The technician gets right to work after a brief overview of what he will be doing. After, every item is explained. We get detail of good & bad issues. Details are written up. As tech summarizes the items and cost you there is no miscommunication. Andy did all of these things and was very professional. We are definitely satisfied with the service Andy provided and with Aircon.
Great experience with AirCon today. They dispatched on short noticed this morning and our tech, Jody, was diligent in figuring out a difficult-to-diagnose problem. He was very nice, patient with my dog being overly friendly and fixed the problem. Gave me some preventative maintenance tips, and kept me in the loop the whole time. We use AirCon for our regular seasonal checkups. David as our Service Pro today and he was very polite, timely and helpful. He checked our two units and was done within about an hour. We had recently installed a Nest thermostat and had a question about its frequent cycling off and on and while David checked a couple of settings, he indicated that he would get back to me by email after checking with others at AirCon for their experiences with Nest. As it turned out, he came back to the door after just a few minutes with a possible answer to the issue. David was excellent all the way around and I highly suggest AirCon as an HVAC service company.

I had AirCon come out after getting a recommendation on replacing an evaporator from another company. I was impressed with the friendly and informative salesman as well as the price. I had them replace one of my units and the installation techs were friendly, courteous, and careful, always wearing shoe protectors in the house. I will use them again in the future.

I originally found Air Con on a community forum and because of the high reviews for them, I decided to use them. I couldnt be happier with that decision.Ive used Air Con for several years now, and continue to have a contract with them for my routine checkups and maintenance. While out of town this past week, my friend called me up and said our Air Conditioner wasnt cooling. I immediately called Air Con and they got out THE SAME DAY and fixed the issue! I was expecting the worst, as we all would, but come to realize, it was an electrical issue, and the technician resolved it quickly. My AC is cooling again and we cant be happier.The company is reputable, and reliable. I will use them for all my Air Conditioning needs.
AirCon did a great job installing a new AC system for me. They communicated well from office notifications through the entire installation process.They noted their progress and answered any questions I had at any time. There were no surprises in the final cost of the project and all materials from the old system were completely cleared away. My only difficulty has come up when trying to register the new equipment. The web site doesnt seem to know anything about the model numbers I tried to submit!

Ive been an AirCon customer for several years now and have been pleased with their work. On my last appointment for annual furnace maintenance, Ricky B was courteous and professional. When I complained about issues with my appointment time, he was extremely apologetic even though it was not his fault. It is employees like him that keep people coming back!
Two days after Aircon installed my new AC system, I feel cool and happy. The system is working great and the installers seem to have done a very good job in installing a coil and outside condenser. Overall I was very pleased with the work, and respect that both of the installers showed. I did, however, have one issue that occurred: After the work was complete, insulation from the roof space was falling out of the vents for at least 4 days. I will discuss it with them when they follow-up with me; nonetheless, I would definitely refer Aircon to my family and friends.
Wayne was extremely patient, courteous, and effective in finding our air conditioner problem and explaining how to fix the issue. He was clean coming inside the house and very diligent on showing me our problem. It was not a simple fix so he gave me options and let me think on it. I called them on a Thursday morning when my office AC went out and told them it was an urgent situation. They were able to get there that afternoon, and Steven was very knowledgeable and friendly. He got right to work and had the problem fixed quickly. Saved the week. Good pricing, too.
We have used AirCon for previous A/C work and they have always been fast, courteous and do great work. When our evaporator needed replacement, they went the extra mile and installed a switch in our overflow pan to prevent it from overflowing onto the ceiling. i didnt even realize it until the next time I went in the attic.This time AirCon came to the rescue when our furnace went out. The blower motor was making a lot of noise and I called AirCon. The technician came out and found that the vibrations had caused a gas leak in our attic! He quickly stopped the leak and diagnosed the problem. He then explained my options and gave me a written estimate for fixing the problem. I could either replacing the blower or replacing the entire furnace (both included fixing the gas leak). The furnace was 19 years old and was at the end of its life. I spoke to the tech about my options and he didnt pressure me, but recommended replacing the whole unit. I typically dont do the morst expensive option, but in this case, I decided to go ahead and do the whole furnace, since it was so old and the entire new unit would have a warranty.A few hours after he left the blower stopped running and we now had no A/C! I called back and they brought out a portable unit to keep us cool until they could replace the furnace.They did a great job and I am amazed at how quiet the new Rudd unit is! AirCon even had to do more work than anticipated due to my attic configuration, but honored the original estimate. They were very professional and a real life saver! Thanks AirCon!
Wayne was very friendly and courteous. He arrived on time and did a complete check of my heating and a/c units. He didnt find anything that needed immediate repair but made a number of recommendations and ranked them according to importance. I asked questions and he gave very good explainations. He definitely knows what hes talking about. I will surely request Wayne when Im ready to make some of the improvements he recommended.

These people are the most knowledgeable, warm, friendly and considerate! After calling other companies, this is the ONLY business that could tell me WHEN a part could come in and was UPFRONT about the COST of everything. When I called other places and asked when they could get the part the reply would be “I don’t know.” When I asked other places what it would cost the response was “I don’t know.” Nothing was a mystery with Air Con. They could tell me that the worst case scenario would be that it may take 24 hours for them to get a part. They provided a quote of the exact cost! Air Con is completely transparent! They tell you when someone is on the way. Everyone that answers the phone is knowledgeable and helpful. The serviceman was tops! They are the BEST!!! They really care!
OMG! They just came out to fix my AC. Let me tell you something, they are amazing. They clean up after themselves, they are efficient, they know what they are doing, and they are quite quick if you ask me. I am so happy I went with my gut instinct to choose air con. They care about their customers and they are the best prices all around. They offer the same warranty as everyone else yet better service. They even have supervisors come out and double check their work then another supervisor to triple check the work. They are amazing and awesome. My wife and I scheduled to have Air Con begin a whole home replacement including duct, evaporator, furnace, compressor and condenser. My most recent experience was exceptional with Michael doing a spring checkup on my systems. He was extremely thorough and it is clear he is all about doing things right and not cutting corners. This is what keeps me with Aircon. Im confident they will be there when I need them, and will go out of their way to ensure they keep me a happy customer. They are the gold standard in the residential A/C business.
This company provided the expertise, the service, and the price I was looking for. They offer a terrific feature and send a picture of the technician they are sending to your house so you know who to expect. Great idea! HVAC can be expensive and it is important to have someone you trust. We pay a monthly fee which gives us a discount on Fall and Spring checkups.
We found AirCon on Angies List as the highest rated AC folks in town. Weve used them a couple of times for service, and now for a major install. They are easy to deal with, explain the issues in an easily understood manner, perform good work, and most of all are HONEST. Sad, but a trait not often found these days. I would highly recommend.

We have used AIRCON in maintaining our older A/C and Heating system for years. When the A/C unit gave out after 28 yrs of service, our AIRCON Technician Steven presented us with options for new equipment with pricing. After we made our selection, Steven described the removal and replacement process and scheduled the work. Steven answered our questions and arrange for a portable A/C unit for our use until the new installation was completed.The AIRCON Installation Team, lead by Kevin arrived as schedule and work efficiently until the job was completed. The Installation Team was considerate and careful while working in our home. They left no mess. Kevin and other members to the Team answered all our questions and were considerate of our concerns. The whole process went as Steven and Kevin described it.The AIRCON Team did a wonderful job.

He asked if we had any questions and was very conscientious of our home by putting on foot covers when he entered and removed them once he stepped back outside. Ive been a customer of AirCon for several years. They recently replaced an evaporator coil for me. After the installers left one of the tubing connections started leaking and the system stopped cooling again. Aircon sent a repair tech to fix the connection and all is good now. I appreciate the way they way they followed up.

We needed to have the annual maintenance on our AC and Andy was very professional and knowledgable about the service. He was punctual and took precautions in wearing protective gear and using clorox wipes (COVID-19) to sanitize everything before and after usage. He fixed the drainage pipe, so that the AC fluids would flow outside. He was very transparent about the service and finished in a timely manner. My carpet is soaked. I realize my air conditioner is leaking water. I call AirCon and they have Dai out to me that afternoon. He quickly found my problem (a clogged suction pump line). Fixed it beautifully and didn’t charge a fortune, even though it was an emergency call out. I have loved this company for years and will continue to use and recommend them for years to come!!
I called to get the upstairs unit checked as it was not cooling. The unit is quite old and thus I was aware that replacement was likely and if not that a fairly expensive charge for antiquated coolant. AirCon sent a VERY knowledgeable young man who was able to quickly diagnose the issue. He took good pictures of the rust and decay of the original unit and provided a list of options. The options had various risks which were well explained. I requested a quote for what I thought was the best path for my goals and needs and received a very competitive price. I chose to close the deal for that solution and meanwhile the company got me up and cooling with a temporary solution until the crew could arrive in a few days to finish the job. I am very happy and will continue to do business with AirCon.

AVOID: Had a new ac installed with them based on prices and reviews. Now I regret going this route. Theres a never ending problem with the cooling in the house. This issue happen the following day after installation. They seem not to know what they are doing. They dont want to point fingers at there own people mistakes. The whole house doesnt air conditioned like it use to. My old ac unit of 20 years with a slow leak cooled the house much better than what they did after installation. My vents all around the house now sweat and no air flow is felt like before. Horrible experience! Avoid!!!
I have 2 older a/c units. One unit quit cooling, so I decided to also have a Spring check-up of my systems. Luckily, I chose to contact Air Con . .. Submitted a service request on their web page. That got the ball rolling to the best experience I have ever had with a service contractor. From the get go, these folks were determined to make things work out for me. The ladies at the main office shuffled schedules and got me a technician within 2 hours. David, my technician, showed up at my door in a clean, well labeled service vehicle, dressed in a clean company uniform, with all his tools in a compact tote bag and never had to go out to his vehicle multiple times searching for the right tool to do the job . . . he had all the needed tools with him. David started going through his check list of my units, making notes on his iPad of conditions, serial numbers, things which might be a problem in the future . . . just a complete diagnostic of my units. David located my problem, a part that had failed on my out side unit. The price??? David didnt have to call his boss to determine the price they needed to charge to make a profit today. He had a professional presentation in a 3 ring binder of all the current prices . . . even gave me current prices of my potential problems so that I would have an idea. Prices were very, very reasonable. David had the needed part in his vehicle - no need to take 3 hours of my time to go get the part- and he replaced it and my unit was up and running. David introduced me to Air Cons Service Partner program and I highly recommend it, and once you experience the professionalism of Air Con, you will be using them again and this program will save you money. When Davids work was completed, he emailed me my receipt and his complete report of my units. And yes, being the distrustful sort, I bird- dogged David the whole time, he had no problems with it, didnt make him nervous, and he even invited it . . . nothing to hide. Next time, Ill just give him the keys to my house and let him do his job . . . a very trustworthy organization and they earn that trust. To sum it up, from first contact to last contact, this is a very organized, professional, knowledgeable organization delivering excellent service at very competitive prices and focused on 100% reasonable customer satisfaction for long term repeat business . . . you cant go wrong with that . . . call them, and Ill let you use David, my technician, if hes not busy taking care of my old units. Exceptional service, professionalism, and NO high pressure sales pitch with AirCon. Florencio, the technician, arrived promptly to service my HVAC. At the front door, he donned booties over his shoes prior to entering my home. I appreciated that gesture. But, I digress with a little history...Having recently purchased this home 2 years ago, I had used Weeks for my yearly HVAC inspections. On those twice yearly visits, I would get the frazzled, desperate sales pitch citing numerous issues with my system at great expense. However, I had not experienced any trouble with my HVAC to date. Weeks initially attempted to con me into new duct work to the tune of $4 000.00. Absolutely not necessary. On a prior Weeks Service Company call, I was concerned about the weak airflow through one of my registers (vents). Weeks again cited erroneous, expensive, fabricated expenses to remedy the issue costing around $400.00. Again, I was skeptical because I had recently had a complete, thorough HVAC inspection upon purchasing the home. The fix? A $7.99 new vent from Home Depot. I was ready for a new company for my yearly tuneups. Needless to say, as a single female, I was very wary and skeptical due to my experience with Weeks and inexperience with HVAC. I recalled having read stellar reviews in our community magazine for AirCon. Also, I noticed a coupon for February maintainence. That, coupled with excellent reviews from my neighbors via the NextDoor app, I called AirCon. Florencio from AirCon literally educated me from the make/year of my AC and furnace (Im embarrassed to admit I was clueless) to the detailed mechanics of exactly how a system operates. I felt empowered and more informed, like I had just had a crash course...HVAC 101. He pointed out little things which required no expense that I could personally do to improve the performance of my system. He was patient with my elementary questions, taking time to make sure I totally comprehended and understood his explanation. The result? System passed the tune up with flying colors. I trusted him. He wasnt there to sell me new duct work or a new furnance. He was there to inspect my system and educate me on that system. I trust AirCon and will be a customer for life. They have my confidence and have turned my negative experience with that other RIP off company into a positive learning experience with a trustworthy, reputable company, the BEST in Clear Lake.
My central AC was causing me lots of problems. Evey time it would get over 95 degrees it would shut down. It would come back on one to three sweltering hours later. I had called numerous AC people to my home in the past couple of years re this problem and heard many excuses and do this or that prevention suggestions, but no real fix.I called Air Con out on a Sunday night, and Ricky came. He checked everything and accessed the problem. Told me it was the compressor causing the issues, and that it should be replaced.(I had also read that this could be the problem online so it sounded right) We discussed approximate costs to replace the unit or just the compressor, I located the paperwork on the AC and he said he would check to see if it was still under warranty/ (the company who installed the system originally is no longer in business and we werent sure if what was written in the blank spaces of the contract were i in effect) Fast forward to Tuesday Morning. Ricky had contacted the manufacturer, and it was indeed under warranty. I said order it. He did, and they (Clayton and Tony) installed it exactly 8 days later.I also want to say that Brandi called to make sure I was happy with the service call by Ricky. She also called back to schedule the install. Melissa called to make sure I was happy with the install and service.I appreciate the detailed attention to my problem, the detail oriented andcaring staff, and also... the prompt professional service.
After seeing other reviews for this place, I called them up to schedule a pre-summer inspection and tune-up. Call was quickly and professionally answered. I was expecting them to give me a timeframe of several hours later in the week. Instead, I was told that they could have a technician at my house within an hour. Sure enough, Jesse showed up about 45 minutes after my initial phone call. He spent about 15 minutes in each attic (2 units) and about 45 minutes outside. After he was done, he went over the diagnostics with me and said everything looks good. No trying to sell me anything I dont need, just seemed to be an honest assessment. Jesse was a very professional and kind gentleman. Price was very reasonable at $119 for 2 A/C units. I saved them into my phone and they will be my go to A/C company from now on.
Great company and great service. I called after hours and spoke with an answering service. I received a call back the next morning and had a technician out the same afternoon. I received a call 15 minutes before my scheduled time and as an added bonus, I also received an email with the name and picture of the tech that was coming. My problem was pretty simple as it was just a plugged drain in the ac and was fixed in no time. I also received some good advice on how I can prevent that problem from happening again. Money well spent.

Dai and Jeremy from AirCon did an excellent job servicing the secondary drain line for our system. It had just dripped into the eaves, but they found a way to realign everything and clip it securely to the outside. By making what we had already work effectively, they saved us a lot of money by not having to run an entirely new drain line. Instances like this, doing whats best for the customer instead of what is the most expensive option, are why we have been loyal AirCon customers for five years.
Since we recently bought our house, I originally called to have someone from the home warranty come check out the a/c that wasnt working properly. After being told nothing was covered under home warranty and was given a long list of things that needed updating, I called Aircon because many of my neighbors on Nextdoor highly recommended them and of course, the great Google reviews. I called and luckily received an appt the same day! Jody came out and was completely honest and gave me his professional opinion about my problem. He was professional, knowledgable, friendly, and straight to the point without being pushy. So far my experience has been great and I hope to continue to use Aircon for future assistance when we replace our unit.
Well, I was trying to find a local independent contractor out to do a annual service check up but didn’t get the service I would like to have. I finally went with AirCon. Dai is a patient and respectful person. He went through everything with me and made his recommendation to me without rushing. I signed up their maintenance program which help me save some money for 2 times regular check ups per yr. also, the receptionist, Jaqui was pretty helpful and informative. I can’t believe they can have such knowledgeable receptionist. Also, aircon keeps the service records you have with them. It happens that they still kept the record back to 2006 from previous owner. Well, aircon may not be the cheapest HVAC in the market but they will definitely get jobs done right. You will be surprised of their service.
AirCon is very professional. The technician went out of his way to get the part I needed to fix my furnace on the same day as my service visit. I appreciated that so much. I plan on doing service with them for all my future HVAC needs.
Matt and Cesar did a great job installing my condensing unit and evaporator coil. I showed them around the house and left them to it. The installation in the attic appears to be neatly done - properly aligned, well supported and work area clean. I have cold AC and what appears to be a great running unit as of day four. Matt was easy to talk to and explained everything well.
Recently purchased a Lennox two stage unit and I am very pleased with the unit and AirCon. I had my 22 year old downstairs unit fail requiring a new unit with the newer Freon. I called the Clear Lake Area A/C company that I had used for over 40 years. They showed up to do diagnostics and basically quoted me a couple of options (barely legible or understandable) at full list price. After collecting an inspection fee the the tech left saying call us if you want us to install a new unit.Then I called AirCon! What a difference. The AirCon rep offered to have a representative come by my home that day. Their rep, Melissa, came by, introduced herself and explained the AirCon difference and her extensive background with AirCon. She proceeded to do a very thorough analysis of what was needed for my home. Then we talked equipment. She identified every option that AirCon could provide. She is a great sales representative explaining exactly what the pros and cons and features and benefits of each unit that is available. She laid out the cost of each unit including all current manufacture promotions. I easily could have bought a replacement system that would have just done the job but the Lennox 2 tier unit that I purchased is worth every penny.So, after a 40 year relationship I had to fire my old air conditioning company and hire a truly professional company with a team of top notch folks who are very customer service oriented.One last thing. They offered and provided my wife and I with a loaner portable air conditioner for our bedroom until the new unit was installed.
Recently had one of our AC units go down and based on the age (19) and condition, decided to completely replace both of our AC/Heating systems. From the courtesy and responsiveness of Carol in the office, to the professionalism and knowledge of Wayne and David during the initial consultation in helping me decide what systems to go with and post installation follow up to ensure everything was working properly, to the installation with Cesar, Joe, and Ricky and them doing a fantastic job, keeping the house clean during the install, and answering any questions I had, this company puts the customer first! I ended up going with Lennox two stage systems and have already seen a reduction in electricity costs. Trust the reviews and go with Aircon, you will be glad you did!

A/c went out. Called Monday morning, and had tech that day. Found bad motor, had to order because a oddball. Motor came in next day and was installed same day. Saved me from serious harm from wife, granddaughter, and female doggy!
Professional as expected from AirCon. Tuff situation to be in with no a/c in the middle of this heat wave. But AirCon did a great job providing us portable a/c units in our bedrooms until the parts came in to fix our a/c. Anytime one of their TECs came out always very professional and courteous. Would highly recommend.
I had AirCon come out because I noticed a good amount of water coming from secondary drain on the side of the house. The tech unclogged the primary drain line but did not reconnect the drain line under my sink properly. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice this until a few days later when the water started to seep through my cabinet onto the floor. This is something so basic that wasn’t checked prior to completion of the job.
Excellent customer service over the phone and they were able to send someone out within 2 hours. The technician was very friendly and the prices were comparable. I was very pleased with the level of professionalism. I would definitely recommend AirCon Services.
1st time customer. Sent out newbie tech with 4 months experience & no supervision. Found nothing wrong. Yet one important question I asked & answer was no not normal. Asked same question later & answer was yes normal. Called AirCon after he left. Pointed out his 4 months out of HVAC school & Jacqui assuredwe rigorously tested him. I have used this company for years and never been disappointed. They have not only serviced, but installed the ACs in my home as well. The technicians are always prompt, professional, and thorough and the office staff always lets you know far an advance when the technician will arrive so you have plenty of time to get home. This morning I smelled something burning when I entered our business office. Immediately we thought it was a failed power supply on one of our machines or a customer’s computer. After looking for a while without success with the front door propped open to provide a little fresh air, the heater started and the problem was located. The air mover was making a terrible noise so we shut it down and called AirCon a little after 8 AM. Two Technicians arrived around 9:45 AM, diagnosed the problem as a failed belt which they replaced in short order and had us back to normal.The service was precisely what we expected since we have been using AirCon for over 10 years for service on our home and business HVAC systems. They always respond quickly and provide the best service ever experienced from any AC company. AirCon even has an emergency number which they actually answer and they respond during off hours. Several years ago, I called them at 10 PM on a Friday night because the pan in our AC was overflowing onto the ceiling tiles. Chose Air Con because I saw the reviews and they definitely held true to 5 stars. Had another company come out to try and fix my ac problem. He tried to sell me a new compressor and a new switchboard when my outside unit was brand new. Air Con came in and the guy agreed the switchboard needed replacing but took the time (hours) trying to find the solution. He grabbed the part and was back within an hour saving me time and having to take off work. These people are great and care. I will be using them again. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
AirCon is the best! After returning home from a few days vacation, we discovered that the A/C was not working. Several other companys technicians came out, but did not fix the problem and only had performed partial diagnosis. Arthur, the AirCon tech, was able to trouble shoot the electrical control wiring and locate the problem and then fix it satisfactorily. He did an outstanding job and restored the air conditioning on a hot afternoon. Arthur was a life-saver!

Air Con won my business among three bidders total due to their obvious technical competence. The Salesperson (Melissa) found more deficiencies with my existing system than any of the other salespersons. The attention to details by the installers reinforced my decision making process (I started by using the Consumer Report rankings and then used the manufacturers website to find installers whose business was about 90% dedicated to that manufacturer). I look forward to having a Service Agreement with Air Con for my Lennox XC20 System.

They put the con in Air Con, that was our experience. They charged our system with freon, but it did not hold 48 hrs. They explained why that meant we needed a new system. Having a friend in refrigeration, I had him charge it just to be sure of our situation. Guess what, the charge held! I was a bit surprised, but I tend to be trusting. When a spider bites you, do not be surprised - just stay clear of the spiders in the a/c business, that is our advice.
I called AirCon this morning and David met me at my house within 45mins. It did not take him long at all to determine what the problem was. He explained exactly what was wrong and exactly what needed to be done to fix it. He had my air back on in no time. I would definitely use Aircon again in the future. Their prices were also good as well. I earned brownie points with the wife for this one!

GET YOUR STORY STRAIGHT SETH AT AIRCON.I WAS TOLD BY MY PLUMBER IT WAS NOT A PLUMBING ISSUE. IT WAS A BACKED UP CONDENSATION LINE. PEOPLE ON NEXTDOOR ARE ALSO SAYING THEY HAVE HAD SIMILAR ISSUES LIKE THIS WITH AIRCON. DO NOT USE AIRCON, DO NOT TRUST THEM. LOOK AT AIRCONS RESPONSE TO ANOTHER BAD REVIEW, THEY DO NOT CARE.I have used AirCon for 12 years! I contract them to keep my AC in good condition and for them to check my system twice a year.Recently I knew something was wrong with my AC system, I called them, they came out. Something was beeping which they still claim is my return vent. They blew out my lines, said everything was fine nothing was wrong.I called them out again about a month later, still with the same beeping and the tech did not even enter my attic!!!!So here is the deal that night I hear a drip drip drip. My condensation line was backed up and I had water inside my walls!!!! The condensation pipe in my attic was overflowing and did this when the AC was on. Their tech did not find it!!!Then their manager Jody comes out and says yes when we see that line we recommend customers get that fixed. I said your team had been coming here for 5 years (this house I have lived in for 5 years) and no one has ever told me that I needed to fix that!Needless to say I have a 4 x5 ft hole in my wall because they did not completely check my AC unit!!!! I simply asked for repair costs to my sheetrock. I am not looking to get rich but when I call you out here twice reporting an issue they should have caught it!My plumber found the issue in 2 minutes, said it is clearly obvious that there was overflow.They blew out my lines, sent the clog further down the line, this basically caused my back up and a disaster in my home.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND IF YOU DO FIND A NEW AC CONTRACTOR.

7/12 updateI am speechless. It is refreshing to see a company place priority and dedicated in customer satisfaction. I got a call from management wanting to make things right. They sent 2 senior technicians today to check my ac. They spent 2 hours in my attic during noon time (i cannot imagine the heat during hot Houston summer). They found the root causes and able to fix the fan issue immediate. They wanted to come back with replacement part and fix other issues another day but I told them to come back during cooler month because I cannot bear the thought having them to go thru the heat again.I am changing my rating to 5 stars. With this kind of service oriented attitude, what can I say. I already stated telling my colleagues about AirCon!7/11: I have been loyal customer of Aircon because I know the owner is a honest, hardworking person. They installed my complete new AC unit 5 years ago with zone system. I was happy with their installation, hence continue with annual maintenance contract. 2 years ago, I decided to climb up to take a look at the attic, to my annoyance, the ductwork leaks cool air to my attic. Told the technician that came to service, he mentioned he will come back to check during wintertime. That never happened. Last year, told new technician, but never fix it. This year, another technician told me this is because it was not installed properly at the beginning. He tried to fix it but as of now, it is still leaking. 3 weeks ago, zone control damper started to act out, directing cold air flow to room that did not need cooling. Technician said this is normal to equalize pressure. I disagree with the explanation and he could not provide reason why it only started behaving this way 3 weeks ago. He promised to look into it. Today after his visit, the blower started running continuously even when I turn off the system. The continuous fan suck in humidity from outside. it is muggy now in my house. They dont why it is acting that way.The employees/technician are still very courteous, polite people. I am afraid the level of expertise may be falling due to departure of knowledge people.Will update if they can solve my issues. By the way, my AC is still under waranty: parts and labor. Sam
The company sent over a gentleman named David over and he was very knowledgeable and even took time to educate me on why my unit was not working correctly. He changed out the faulty capacitor and my unit came right back on. Very happy with the service and I would definitely use this company again.

I purchased a new (expensive) unit from AirCon in 2013. They have had to come out two of the three years to repair major parts on my new unit. One of the repairs included correcting a mistake made during installation! Plus, I have had to fight with customer service to have the $75 trip fee waived on these repairs. Fortunately my unit is covered under a 10 year warranty so the part costs are covered (still have had to pay labor). I will be looking for a new company for my AC and heating needs.
Walter arrived during the window that was specified and we received phone calls to let us know he was on the way. Upon arrival he was able to quickly identify that we needed a new motor but he didnt have one on hand that fit our unit. As it was a Friday, he made a call to the on-call technician asking if one could be picked up on Saturday and installed. Unfortunately, the shop was closed on Saturday so they werent able to get one. We tried other companies on the weekend to see if they could help but they either didnt answer their phone or didnt call back as they stated they would. We were added to the beginning of AirCons list for Monday morning to have a technician come replace the motor. Walter returned in the rain and replaced the motor. Our unit now starts up and runs nominally.
The service provided by technician Steven Vega was proficient, timely and cordial. Steven explained to me - with pertinent data - why our unit was running so efficient. Update: Kathlyn the receptionist is very curt and rude. I have noticed this after multiple interactions with her on the phone. Im almost dreading having to talk to her when I callJeremy came out in a timely fashion, trouble shooted and figured out what the issue was in no time at all. Very professional and courteous. Im a happy customer due to this experience

Had a bad experience last time I used them. They had installed a kill switch on my drain line a few years back. This cuts off the AC if there is a clog in the drain.Fast forward a few years. The AC goes out. Were not sure why, we call them. They have to come out twice, first time they asked us to replace the thermostat without any valid reasoning. We declined to do that. We requested a 2nd tech come out. They did and said the AC was working fine which we kept telling them was not the case. Anyway they couldnt figure out what was wrong.I had to call a different company to come out and fix. They found that the kill switch on drain was shutting down AC. Im pretty annoyed at them because they argued with me on the phone about the AC having a problem and I ended up having to pay two companies to get the issue fixed.They installed the switch, they should have been able to tell it was kicking off the unit... Upsetting. I dont use them anymore.
Dai showed up on time and was very professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had my A/C working again. I have never had any problems with AirCon and will continue to use them.
