Long story short I had an accurate smell around 3 AM. Not sure what it was then my breaker for my AC furnace tripped so I called AllStar AC heating and plumbing they had somebody here within 30 minutes and as suspected there was a Some wiring that had burnt up. David, who was phenomenal had it up and running within an hour! Can’t say enough about the courteous nature he has or the cleanliness of his work amazing super thankful for everything.
All Star is hands down went above average in all aspects! 10 over 10 score in all! After 8 estimates from other A/C companies, All Star has high professionalism, transparency, ethics, quality of install and even the just price point for our daily home needs was exceptional! It was quite impressive to see the installation crew have so much efficiency, respect and chemistry going through all of the process. They do not and will not up sell you or force anything that is not needed. We are very appreciative for their business with our new A/C and Furnace system!! Thank you!!
They arrived when promised, quickly diagnosed the problem as well as another issue that would have shut our heat off again in the future. All was repaired within one hour and we had heat restored just before winter weather hit. Their technician was honest and open about what needed to be done and took time to show me pictures and explain after repairs were complete. Highly recommend!
They used to be good but either added too many people to their B team who they send on calls to those of us dumb enough to get a maintenance contract or they decided being honest didnt pay enough so figured theyd start on some scams.I brought them out to cash in my tune up and investigate a sound. The guy did some tests but no maintenance and when he left, the sound didnt. They also tried some scare tactics, including having a sales guy call and list symptoms of CO poisoning and ask if Id been experiencing it because.. wait for it.. theres a flame when my gas furnace starts up.So I tell him Ill think about it and get someone else out who diagnoses and fixes the cause of the sound.Some girl calls me back a few days later trying the same CO scare scam and I ask why her tech left me in a dangerous situation if that was the case? She said shed call me back.She didnt call me back. And Im not calling them back.
1/10/2025 Update - The technician, Tanner Foreman, came back to inspect the water heater installation that he did. He assured us that it is working as it should and there is no issue such as water leaking. We are glad to hear that from Tanner who is well qualified to do the work and is trust worthy in our opinion. Thank you, Tanner.By the way, our furnace has been on and seems working fine as well.=======================================Our first experiences with All Star are all positive. We found that the All Stars people are honest and helpful. Nathan could have told us that we need new HVAC system like some other guys but he did not. We ended up with a new water heater plus a new toilet and a new furnace but the cost are far less than the other guys proposals! We also signed up for All Star Ultimate Savings Plan. By the way, Collin is super easy to work with when we need to finance our furnace.Since my wife and I are not able to climb up to the attic, we could not judge the quality of services. However, the new toilet was definitely well installed. The water heater is working fine and we have not turned on the furnace yet but we have no reason to doubt...In summary, we are pleased with All Star and highly recommend the company for your A/C and heater services.
I’ve known and admired Ed for his work with Operation Snowstorm. This is the second unit All Star A/C has installed for me. Ed showed up promptly. He is kind, courteous, knowledgeable and very professional. He gave me a very reasonable and fair price. It was scheduled for the next day. Wish I’d gotten his crews names so I could acknowledge them by name. Nonetheless, the crew of 3 immediately got to work. The installation was quick and looks very good. The a/c and heater are both working flawlessly. They cleaned up and left the work area as it was. They were all friendly, professional, knowledgeable and hard working. Did not stop until the job was complete. Thank you Ed and All Star A/C and heating. Highly recommend them.
I called out All Star, which had done some work on my system in the past, to come and inspect the system for winter. David came out to my house and was very personable and he explained in detail what was needed. We ended up needing to replace most of the equipment in our system. All Star came out the next day and spent most of the day doing the work. The new system works very well so far and with the new insulation put in I am hoping that our energy bill is decreased next summer. Overall, I would recommend All Star as the work was done quickly and professionally. The agents that were sent to my house were very nice and helpful.
We had issues with our AC due to our stand bye generator going on. David came out the same day and he was extremely professional. The company a timeframe and David called within minutes after contacting the company. He gave an estimated time of arrival and was very prompt. He was very thorough, extremely knowledgeable and very professional. He answered all of our million questions and gave us his professional opinion on how to prevent further issues with our AC. Genuinely a very nice person. Just because of him I am considering replacing my other older ac unit with his company. I had a fantastic experience with All Star A/C & Heating Services. I called them today when I noticed our heat went out, and with a major snowstorm in Houston looming, it was crucial to get it fixed quickly. The person who took my call was very professional and accommodating, even with the short timeframe.Our technician, Brian, arrived on time and was highly professional and communicative. He quickly identified the issue and provided a safe, temporary fix to get us through the storm. The issue was a bad Discharge Air Temperature Sensor (DATS), which I ended up declining to replace immediately because it’s an affordable and easy-to-source part. Nonetheless, Brian’s expertise and efficiency were impressive.Additionally, Brian went above and beyond by helping me diagnose a doorbell issue on his way out, saving me time and hassle in the cold. Tanner did a great job in giving us a fair assessment on the status of our water heater. Given its age it was recommended to not to service at this time. Will definitely give them a call when it is time to replace.Same day we had our yearly service Heater check up. David was the Technician that came our to preform the service. David has been out before and again he did a very through job in servicing and evaluating the unit. Provide detailed review on the status of the equipment.
I reached out to ALL Star A/C & Heating Services to diagnose why my furnace was not blowing out hot air.They charged a $95 fee for diagnosing and would deduct this from any work they did on fixing the issue.It ended up being the gas valve that needed replacing.Up until this point everything was going well. It was not until I started asking questions about pricing that I could see this business will take advantage of you if you do not do your own research.They quoted me $869.64 (screenshot attached). This included a Acquisition Fee Non Stock Parts of $104.00. First major red flag. Imagine charging someone to find a part for them?Second red flag is that they would not tell me how much they are charging for the part being replaced and how much they are charging for labor.Third red flag is that they would not tell me what part they would be using to replace mine with, I wanted to make sure that it was of good quality based on reviews. I asked them for the model number and they only provided the model number of my furnace, not the actual part they where replacing. They never replied to my request.I ended up going into my attic and checking out the furnace to find the part number of the valve they where replacing. After researching and figuring out that the part was no longer made but a new updated part was being used in its place, the part online direct from the manufacturer cots roughly $150 shipped.This means that they wanted to charge me $104 dollars to order the part, and roughly $700 in labor. (for a total price of around $950 dollars that included the $95 that they charged for diagnosing the problem).So okay, $700 bucks to change the valve, I had no idea if this was high or low for this type of job. I called around and using 4 other business in the area, I was quoted anywhere between 300-550 dollars to replace the valve INCLUDING the actual part, meaning I was being charged for just labor anywhere between $150 and $300 dollars from other business.I ended up going with someone else who came out and diagnosed my issue for free to ensure that it was the gas valve and only charged me $200 to replace the part plus the cost of the part.Do with this information as youd like but personally I would want to work with a company that is a little more open and honest about their business practices.I am not bothered by the fact that they are overcharging, that is their right, but I am bothered by the fact that they did not want to explain their pricing.I did want to add that when I went to the attic to check the part number, the technician that came did not properly close the furnace. They taped over the safety switch so that the unit would turn on when troubleshooting but they did not close the doors with the screws that held down the switch.
I trust this company 100%. I called them around 7am, was handled efficiency & professionally as if it werent before normal business hours, & they had someone out by 9am who diagnosed & handled the situation just as impressively. They had my unit replaced by the end of the day without a single hassle. They set clear expectations about their followup process & actually follow through - most companies wouldnt have even picked up the phone at 7am. Great people, great work, highly recommend!

As a follow up, the manager called & understood my point & refunded my account, which is much appreciated because a lot companies dont care about good customer service anymore.................If I could give 0 stars, I would. I scheduled an appointment online Sunday evening for an appointment today, Mon. 10/7 between 8 & 10. Received a call at 8:23 for time change of 10-12, that was fine. Arrived at 10:39, at 10:41 plumber went to his car to call about an estimate. 10:48, came back & said around $340 something to do all this special stuff..for a clogged toilet only. Went back to ask for any discount & was told, $240 something. I made the appointment because the website said $89 trip charge includes diagnostic, unclogging drain or cleaning a line. Plumber goes back out, to talk to office again & comes back saying he wasnt aware of that being on their website & a miscommunication & it is only for unclogging a sink! Even when I made the appointment, it asked for a brief detail of issue & I said clogged toilet. They said the best they could do was subtract the trip charge, which would $240 something. So with all of that, i had to pay a trip charge for nothing & false advertisement & I shouldnt have paid anything. I want my money back for not honoring what is on YOUR website. This company is awful & I would be very cautious of hiring to do anything.

Had All Star install UV lights, Airscrubber and clean ducts. They did a great job but an issue came up with our float switch. David came out, promptly and on time. He did a very professional job, fixed my problem and even some not related. Very personable and knowledgeable.
Unfortunately I’ve had to have All Star come out to my house several times in the last few months, along with other different kinds of technicians to help fix damage from Beryl. I wish all the other companies I dealt with were as reliable, understanding, and honest. All the guys who have come out have been respectful, more than willing to answer all my questions, and given me space to consider their recommendations on work needing done. Will continue to use them as long as they’re around!
Never seen a more professional team of people! Our A/C had been acting up all summer, and really just kind of stopped working mid October. So we called All Star, and Mr. Hugo came out the very next day. He did a THOROUGH diagnostic check! He checked the units outside, as well as the components that were up in the attic, and took pics and video to show us proof of what was wrong. We also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Nate, who worked with us to get a reasonable price on the work that needed to be done, and answered every question we had. Installment was very quick, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Hugo also came back two days later to do a quality check on what they had installed, and to make sure we didnt have any questions or concerns. Needless to say, we are forever customers after this experience!
I really appreciate this company and the employees. I initially met the owner when he came by to take a look at my old AC unit and he was professional and honest. Everyone is very knowledgeable and nice. I noticed a leak coming out from my ac unit outside last night so I called and they were able to make it out the very next day. Ares came out and he was great! He explained a lot to me, taught me a few things I wasn’t aware of before and made sure everything was working all good and showed me how to change my filter up in the attic. The service was above and beyond and I am grateful for it. Thank you

This is first time I used All Star for my A/C tune up, and I am more than pleased with the technicians (Timothy) wealth of knowledge on the whole system and how he explained to me with the language that I could understand. He was super polite from the beginning, he took his time to explain the issues, how system works, probability of future issues and honest recommendations. Scheduling the appointment was breezy as well, the person who took my phone call was very pleasant and accommodated my busy schedule. Now I am happy that I found a company that I can trust whenever I have an A/C and heater issues.
The technicians were mostly great, polite and gave good explanations of the service. There were a few issues like a broken attic frame and nails left around the attic floor, which can be dangerous, but great repairs were made. However, I had multiple issues on the administrative side. After the first scheduling issue due to a logistical oversight, I got different information each time I spoke to someone. I didnt have much confidence that I was getting all the information I needed. While everyone was polite and tried to make adjustments on the back end, the ever changing info on scheduling, financing, and some minor product details made an already stressful situation (furnace malfunction) more stressful. Given the technicians are really good, I think this service might be best for smaller repairs rather than system overhauls.

Despite their busy schedule, they promptly dispatched a technician named Aristides to assess the problem. Aristides conducted a thorough diagnostic evaluation and clearly explained the nature of the issue and the available solutions. He provided me with multiple cost estimates for the necessary repairs and offered his professional recommendations for additional maintenance. I greatly appreciate the time he took to thoroughly explain the situation and am confident that the issue has been effectively resolved. While I hope not to require their services again in the future, I am assured that I can rely on All Star for reliable and professional assistance should the need arise.
Air went out overnight. I called early this morning and they were able to work me in to their busy schedule. Kept me well informed of their timeframe to arrive. Service tech was courteous and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Advised me of an add-on that would help prolong the life of my system, but not in a high pressure, upsale way. They are my go to HVAC company!

Bryan originally came out and was very professional and sweet while he checked out our AC unit. Even though we needed a whole new unit, he shared that his company offers 18 months 0% interest if we qualify. Very simple and short process to qualify. The very next day Christopher and his partner came to the house and installed our new unit. They both were also very professional and sweet! They even stayed extra hours for the rain storm to pass and completed their job. We would highly recommend this company!! You won’t be disappointed. We are very disappointed in the way All Star AC & Heating serviced us over the past 15 months. I’m embarrassed to say how much money we’ve spent with them but in short, were taken advantage of. My husband and I are not HVAC experts which was why we called the professionals.” Every time a new crew came (many were inexperienced) they “couldn’t believe what the last crew did.” Issues with our ducts were withheld from us until almost a year after working with this company, only to be told they could fix it for another $7,000. Phrases like “the first tech probably had tunnel vision in diagnosing your issues” and “the work done was not optimal” were actually said to us. My husband and I work hard for our money and learned a costly lesson in working with All Star. This is not a company I would ever hire again or recommend to others.
They were on time, courteous and professional. When the tech arrived we were still talking to one of their competitors because we sought multiple bids on a full HVAC system replacement. The tech texted to say he had arrived and saw the competitors truck and would hang back but stay nearby until the competitor had finished in order to be respectful. That was impressive!! They gave us a fair bid. But theirs and others came in higher than our budget so we are holding off on the HVAC replacement for now.

These guys are crooks. If you notice all the positive reviews have them replacing entire units right? Because thats what they do. My heating unit was having problems. Ive had it for 4 years because this is a brand new house. First off, the dummy thought I had two floors in my house despite the fact that you clearly see no 2nd floor from the outside and no set of steps inside the house which he did walk through. He asked a few questions and latched on to my filter......he had no idea how long i didnt have a filter in and I didnt let him know on purpose to see what hed say. Ended up saying my heating system was caked up and was going to need a whole new unit and priced me $4,000.00. Baby boy, I havent had a filter on for 2 days and thats a 4 year old heating unit. Im not stupid at all. All yall try to do, its get full replacements. All of your reviews HAVE NOTHING ABOUT YALL FIXING ANYTHING! ONLY REPLACING THINGS. YALL ARE SOME CROOKS AND ILL SCREAM THAT TO THE HEAVENS UNTIL YALL ARE OUT OF BUSINESS OR CHANGE YALL BUSINESS PRACTICES. Or at least stop being stupid, im a young, intelligent, college educated man, did you really think youd pull that whole trick with me and it was going to work!?! YALL ARE TRASH!!!!
The service technician, David Martelly, did an excellent job fixing my outdoor unit. He arrived when he said he would and spent the time needed to fix it. He suggested installing a soft start on the unit to extend the life of my aged compressor. This would be necessary anyway if and when we install a whole house generator.
I had All Star Air come out to address a thermostat that was installed by a non-HVAC specialist electrician. The All Star technician was professional and up front about everything regarding his troubleshooting process and the implications without pushing blatantly unnecessary sales tactics. He called up superiors and other techs as needed to discuss possible solutions, which showed me he was backed by a very helpful and knowledgeable team. All Star is at the top of my rolodex for any future HVAC needs.
Curtis came by to fix my HVAC that was still under warranty and did an amazing job. He fixed my issue and gave me pointers on what to expect and on other things I needed.
The tech took the time to explain everything to us. He answered all of our questions and seemed very knowledgeable.
Brayan came out the same day to look at my AC that stopped working in the middle of the night. They were able to get him out and determined I had a bad capacitor. He replaced it and it started working immediately. He also checked to make sure nothing was going wrong with the equipment in the attic and went above and beyond. Thank you Brayan and All Star AC. He also mentioned that they are now doing plumbing and whole home generators. Im not in the market now, but will definitely call them for any plumbing needs in the future.
Classy business here. Family owned. Ed the owner personally came to my house, provided six different options for new AC systems, and provided us with a portable unit until installation date. He was honest understanding and up front. Shout out to Katie and Sarah who were also extremely kind and helpful on the phone. Support these guys. You won’t be disappointed.
Came out immediately and found the very typical problem (capacitor). Rates are towards higher end (it WAS a tricky access) but service is great and I think trustworthy business. Nice folks.Edit: Two things: In retrospect, I think I should mention:1) Besides the blown capacitor, the tech found the A/C drain was clogged but said he wasnt cleaning it - that I would have to call out a plumber to make a separate service call to do that part. I thought ok- these Houston guys dont do that even though its a common AC problem. But I later learned that it IS part of their job and other Heating and cooling services are prepared to clear an AC drain. So, it cost me more than necessary to call a plumber out also2) when I called they told me that service call diagnostic fee ($100) was waived if they performed a service, but then they charged me. I had to ask to take it off and they did, no problem. Just sayin - be aware if you use these guys.
David was absolutely fantastic. Very professional, punctual and took time to explain everything. He even took the time to patiently answer additional questions that I had on the system that was outside the scope of the work for that day.

$400s to replace a capacitor unit on a no rush, non emergency call. Other people charge $125-$250..The capacitor itself is worth $50s( I am including a generous mark up, I work in contracting for the EPA, I know how make ups work). I provided all the details for the fix and we resolved it in less than 15 minutes.Scheduled for 2-4, came at 3:45. I emailed for the service call, and someone got back to me via call at the end of the day. Service fees go towards the service itself, unless it is an after-hours call.If it was a fair price, Id give this a 5 star review, but it was not. The tech was good and knowledgeable and did well. The price is absolutely outrageous for this type of service.

Finally got power back after Beryl and two evenings later my air handler on the A/C died. All Star A/C & Heating had a tech to me within 30 minutes of my calling on a Friday evening and diagnosed the problem within minutes. I was incredibly grateful. The tech was professional and courteous and staff at the office was responsive and quick! I will definitely use them again.

All Star AC and Heating have installed three HVAC systems in the past five years for me. In addition, they have been very courteous and efficient with service calls to repair any issues. Their service techs are extremely capable and friendly. I recommend All Star A/C and heating. However their charges have become unreasonable.
The technician did excellent diagnosis and provided comprehensive explanations on the cause of the outage of my AC unit as well as the helpful tips to prevent the outage going forward.
Brayan was very knowledgeable, friendly and gave many options. Found an issue that could have left us without AC if not addressed. Will definitely use these guys again. Thanks!
They do not fix your Air Condition. They only are able to replace. For what is worth the technician was friendly and fair. However, the AC stayed not working and still $89 dollars were due. I Called another AC technician with welding capabilities that fixed the AC for 1/10 of the price All Star company was charging for replacement. Do not get me wrong , most AC companies are exactly the same. They just need to be profitable a little more than last year, every year. Good luck finding one that does only what it needs to be done to fix your AC. Question: Shouldnt be illegal for them to charge you to come and tell you that they do not fix AC units?
The BEST! Been working with Ed and his team for 5+ years now. Exceptional service and prices. Redid my entire AC in first house I bought and its been virtually probably free except for basic stuff and if an issue immediately handled. His team is on point! During Hurricane Beryl and 1.5 million with power out and whole neighborhood running on backup generators he hooked me up with some portable AC units when they were virtually impossible to find. Going the extra mile! BOOM! Definitely go with All Star and you are in good hands! 💥👊💥

I had two soft start kits installed by Ares, he was very knowledgeable, he arrived on time, and was professional. After installation, he made sure to explain the system, and was willing to answer any questions. I recommend this company! 10/10.
Hugo showed up on time, quickly figured out the problem and had it fixed in about 30 minutes. Probably got lucky with that last part, but very professional and reasonable pricing. Will use this service again.
I had 2 other companies come out and diagnose my hvac unit. One told me I needed to replace the evaporator coil the other told me I needed to replace condensor coil. I Alex All Star and the owner calls me back. Couldn’t have been nicer. Gave me a price to replace either. Meanwhile I took my condensing unit apart and cleaned the coils (as best as I could not knowing what I’m doing). Climbed up into the attic pulled my filter and it was super dirty. Put everything back together, thought I found the issue, returned from work to find my house back at 80 degrees. Called All Star to set up the appt. The owner offered to bring my wife and I a portable unit for the night. Next day his technician arrives (Brian). Diagnosed and all the pressures were good. Everything seemed fine. He explained that I didn’t allow the system to thaw long enough after I’d replaced the filter and cleaned the coils. They could have very easily snatched a few thousand dollars that we honestly didn’t have. Instead, however, they displayed incredible integrity and honesty. Our system is on its last leg. There’s no way I’d call a different HVAC company. Thank you All Star. Keep doing t the right thing. You guys are amazing.

***ZERO STAR REVIEW***My AC quit blowing in my house so I called Allstar to have them come out and take a look. When the technician got here, he looked at the unit outside went in the attic came back down within five minutes and says yeah you just need to clean your system, “it’ll be $1300 inside and $1300 outside. Do you wanna do it or not?” I told him no thank you and paid the arrival fee. I had a feeling he was really just trying to get out of there because it was Friday. After he left, I got up in the attic to see if he had actually done anything, he took the screws out of the cover for the coil and did not put them back as well as bent the actual cover so that it doesn’t fit right anymore. Also lost all the screws to the cover of the AC unit. I had a different company come out and take a look at it and it needed a fan motor. 30 minutes later I had my house cooling again thanks to Bradbury Brothers. No I’m CV Thousand percent would not use Allstar ever again!
If I needed help with our old furnace and AC, they always came the same day and fixed it. We bought a new furnace and AC system from them & it was installed within two days. The owners the sweetest people ever & their employees are always so friendly and polite and treat you like family. I also love that they are a family owned business.

The staff of All Star went above and beyond in getting my AC back going in this hot Texas heat. Sarah stayed in constant communication with me throughout the entire process Over a week of back and forth with the manufacturer of my HVAC, she kept me posted. She even had someone bring me a portable AC to use until my air was fixed. The tech came to my house after hours and set up everything up. This was all while they were enduring fall out from the hurricane themselves. I highly recommend this company to anyone with HVAC needs. All Star A/C was amazing. My A/C unit stopped working on Tuesday morning called them and they got me in same day only a few hours later. The tech was super thorough and even went and checked the attic to make sure everything else was running smoothly. They identified my pan was almost rusted through and got me scheduled the next day to have that replaced. Unfortunately, the new safety switch they installed caused my A/C unit to shut off. I called All Star and within two hours they had a tech back at my house who quickly diagnosed the switch was triggered by a clogged drain which he fixed and got squared away no problem. What I love most about the techs is they are all friendly and go the extra step to thoroughly explain what they are doing, what the problem is and how to fix it. They are also transparent and upfront about pricing before they start any job. As a fists time homeowner this has been an amazing experience and has given me confidence that the job is getting done right and they truly care about their work and their customers. If I need anything A/C or heating relate dim calling All Star!

Tim was so helpful, especially coming out at 8pm. We moved into our brand new house to find out that the AC was not working due to faulty wiring. Tim addressed our concerns, explain everything in detail and really helped us understand why the AC was not working, and fixed everything in such a timely manner. 10/10 would recommend this company.
All Star just installed a new system in my house. They were very professional, their price was fair relative to other bids, they seem to have done quality work, and the owner was personally involved. I cannot provide a long-term review yet, but so far it works well and I am happy.
Update: Owner is dishonest. Please do not fall for his response. No refund has been made, confirmed with my bank already. Technicians diagnosis was inaccurate and clearly must have been working on commission because the damper was not in need of repair nor was our board. Suffice to say our needs were met by a more honest company. Finally, prior to the $150 discount mentioned our quote was $2,034.02 w/a $1879 subtotal. After the aforementioned discount the total after taxes came to $1871.64. Do the math yourself and add $150 to see if I am lying in my review for yourself. Id attach a picture of the estimate received but will take the high road for now. Updated on 6/25/24While the technician appeared to be knowledgeable in regards to diagnosing our issue, I question the business practices after my experience. The technician failed to inform us that the parts needing replacement are in fact covered by the manufacturers warranty and not an accessory to what needs to be done.The technician estimated over $2,000+ worth of repairs and labor for parts that were slightly above $200. Received quote and it did not list price of parts, estimated labor time/rate, or any type of itemized breakdown for what a customer might be paying. We were going to be charged labor twice for each part and not one price for the total amount of labor estimated/worked.Be careful, ask questions, and do not be afraid to receive a second opinion if you have any doubts. Disappointed because this company was highly recommended and left me feeling like I was being scammed.
They showed up about 6 hours after I called and after their diagnosis confirmed I needed a new condenser. They showed up the next day and installed it in about 4 hours. Super great team. I wouldnt hesitate to do business with them again.
I cant rave enough about All Star. The tornado caused my neighbors chimney to crush my HVAC. All Star quickly came out to review the situation. And the owner even gave me a portable unit while I worked through my insurance claim. Theyve been friendly and honest, and I appreciate their quick and responsive service during this stressful time.

He ensured that the warranty was used for part of the cost.The biggest issue was communication. By the time we got the HVAC fixed, it had been a week without either A/C or heating. Part of that was due to it being across a weekend and leading into the Thanksgiving holiday.I asked that we be kept informed of progress as parts might need to be ordered and we needed to plan for alternatives if the systems could not be repaired before Thanksgiving.Having heard nothing on Monday morning I called for a status. Yep, parts needed to be ordered. No ETA, so I again asked to be informed as things progressed.No information shared so called on Tuesday. I got the answering service and they promised to have someone call me asap with an update. That never happened.I checked my email that evening at about 7pm to discover that All Star had emailed a cost estimate. I approved that, assuming this might trigger a service call to finish the repair.I finally got a text from the service tech on Wednesday morning at noon that he was on his way.We were on our way out the door as we had changed plans for Thanksgiving to visit rather than be visited.So, we delayed our plans to accommodate the service tech.From my perspective, this is not the way service should be provided.####################All Star manager called me a week later and waived the $129 service fee.Certainly nice that they care about ratings that much.
ONLY HVAC company I found that was willing to look at a mini-split system! Can out did a long diagnostic on the system late in the afternoon! Found the problem will be contacting me today with warranty information and costs. Great to work with
Our AC stopped blowing cold air, so we called All Star to have someone take a look at it. We were able to get a time slot the following day. David was the technician and he was great. Very professional, immediately knew what the issue was after taking a look at the system inside and outside, and he fixed the issue quickly. He was super nice and answered my many questions. He also got up on a ladder to confirm the vents had cold air coming out after he replaced the capacitor (they did!). From start to finish, the experience was great and I will absolutely use them again if we have any issues in the future.
Brian called ahead to let me know when he was coming and arrived on time and identified some corrections needing to be made during a quality check after the installation of a new AC system.
Had an AC problem, they were easy yo schedule with. But the most mind blowing part was that the guy looked at it, walked me through what he thought the issue was, then told me I’m likely under warranty and morally he didn’t want to charge me anything. Really gotta love that honesty.

They were very detailed when getting information for the quote. Took pictures of my old system and took their time to give me a quote the way I wanted (3 different options to choose from). They also got the quote to me in under an hour. When I called to install they were able to get a whole new system in that same day. My house is older so it wasn’t so easy to get the new one going but they stayed until the job was done. Highly recommend 👍🏻

I had Tim at my house working endlessly for about 4 hours. He was excellent at communicating what the issues were and what he was trying to do to resolve it. Ultimately, he isolated the specific issue, but it needs to proceed from there with a plumber. He did excellent work and he exhausted all avenues to get me squared away.

My parents furnace had an issue that required a back ordered part. I can not say enough good things about the customer service from Anne at All Star A/C and heating. The furnace company that had the back ordered part originally stated one month, which actually turned into a month and a half. Anne called the furnace company weekly to check on the status of the part. She then would call us and over communicate on what was going on. Because of her detailed involvement and updates the month and a half seemed more like a week and a half.Once the back ordered part arrived Anne was the first one to call and give us three appointment times for the very next day. All Star definitely sent us the A team when they paired Anne with David. He was extremely punctual. We had a time slot of 12 - 2. He called to verify when we would be home. David showed up at 12:15. Installed the part and checked the overall condition of the unit. Do yourself a favor and use this company. It’s a rarity to find a company that conducts business like this in any line of work.

Long story short....anothe company said to replace the entire AC system to cost $12k plus. I promptly ushered the technician out the door and called All Star and they came the same day. Turns out the evaporator coil can be replaced and cost a fraction of $12k. The team was nice, polite and got the job done. Will recommend All Star.
Sep 2023 Amazing service. They were able to come out the same day and fix our AC. It was blowing hot air. I let David M. know what all we troubleshooted and he said we did a great job. After about 15 min he determined we needed a new capacitor and replaced it within 30in. The price was fair with the labor and taxes. David was super nice, informative and professional. Our system is old and pieced together so he answered my questions around costs of a new system and the type we would want for the house. Just had a lot of knowledge. Anyway, Ill probably reach out to set up a maintenance plan with them to take care of the unit until we replace it. Thank you!June 28, 2024: well, my old system had some clogged drain thing and water backed up and was spilling on the floor and leaked into the ceiling. To the rescue again, they got out here the same day, got it figured out cleaned out and up and going, and of course when theres a heat advisory. Anyway, saving us once again!! There’s no way I can fully express how efficient and effective All Star AC performed.Before calling All Star AC, we had a regular AC company we’ve been paying monthly service fees for 2 yearly service visits. Let’s call them C. A. M. (Not their real name). Our AC started stopping and working until I saw that the condenser outside was frozen. I called C.A.M. As usual the same guy, who’s the owner and secretary, picked up. He sent a technician the next day. They were paid $99 trip fee. Remember, the issue is the AC quits sometimes. The tech moved around a bit and proclaimed “you good. Avey thang’s fine”. No diagnostic result! But he so considerately tried to help me with a contactor replacement on a different AC unit he wasn’t there to fix. For just a tinny bitty $400. Although I knew I could buy it for $14 at Home Depot. I declined. Long story short the AC stopped again overnight. C.A.M’s owner started a cat and mouse game. Two weeks later, after finally getting him on the phone because I used a different number to call, he agreed to send his tech again. AND he wanted another $99 trip fee. I severed ties and called ALL STAR AC. And I wish I met these guys 5 years ago.The All Star AC technician, David, is one of the brightest guys I’ve met. He arrived within a couple of hours after I called. Within 5 minutes of arrival David had isolated the issue. He broke down the details for us the same way Graham Bel would have done if you asked him how telephones work. He was more concerned with the intricacies of the issue than anything else. Now add professionalism and honesty to All of that. Even the secretary who set up the appointment knows a lot about AC systems. So thank you, David, for being a great human.
Our A/C went out this week. We called All Star who previously had installed our furnace and fan unit. All Star Service Tech Jason was on time and was able to quickly diagnose the problem and replaced the capacitor. He had it fixed in no time. Second time with All Star and same Great Experience!

Super professional and easy to get a detailed estimate. Bryan was able to walk me through multiple options to either seal gaps in my plenum or replace, and had cost information on hand. We ended up choosing to replace and the installation team completed the job quickly but with high work quality the following week.

6/23/2024 update. We had an emergency clog causing the thermostat not to work and All Star scheduled me immediately and Brayan came out and did wonderful work and give helpful tips for the future. The service is amazing here!I recently had All Star install a brand new unit into my house. To begin it started by the owner himself coming to do the initial inspection and quote. A big thing for me was that he sold me on the customer care and the attention to detail before even talking about the unit which was huge for me. The install went smooth and seem less. The workers were very clean, quick, and courteous. the owner also assured that he or another manager will be out in 3 days to ensure a proper installation prior to any exchange of money. So far this has been a great experience!
Great company, employees are all very respectful, seem to care about you and everything was done in 2 days. I was also loaned temporary units to use while I wait for the install. It was very easy and stress free. They were recommended to me by my sister who used them 2 years ago and I in turn am recommending them to everyone else out there who need their AC done.

All Star has always been a pleasure to work with. All from your first phone call, to the updates when technician will be out they have great communication. I’ve had them out to my home for three separate issues in the past two years always quick, they show me the issue and also give great tips on how to keep HVAC running well. Recommended for sure.

I called on saturday and they explained there would be an additional fee for weekend service. After acknowledging thw amount is fine, they gave me a two hour timeslot the tech would show up. Tim arrived an hour early which was great. He was very thorough and took the time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions.

I am a new home homer, and when my A/C unit stopped cooling in the middle of 100+ temperatures, All Star was able to accommodate me even as a new customer. They explained all my options, mentioned they had financing available (although I didnt use it) and were very transparent throughout the whole process. After installation, they sent a technician to do a thorough inspection. I am very happy with their services.
My AC went out at 7pm, after trying to troubleshoot, I called them at 8pm and was given a 2 hour timeframe. They were there by 930ish. The repair was fast and efficient. I would definitely use again.
Last night the motor went out on our AC. The next morning first thing they replaced it (was on 5 year warranty) and didn’t charge a thing—not even for the house call. 👍
David Martelly did a great job of isolating my leak by utilizing the thermal imaging spectrometer. Id highly recommend David as your HVAC specialist.
Hugo came out this morning and checked my Furnace. unit for my yearly checkup for that. Everything came out fine. Hes a nice professional like all of the employees of this company. I highly suggest you get their special if you get the furnace and the AC checked in a year you get a discount.

I cannot recommend All Star enough. The customer service start to finish was impeccable. Extremely responsive and friendly as well as knowledgable and responsive. After calling around for quotes All Star were not just competitively priced but the most helpful and responsive with a real sense of personal touch. We really felt as if we were dealing with people that cared and wanted our business rather than a big company mentality. All Star is absolutely the best! One of our a/c quit cooling in the late evening. I sent all star a message. They were out first thing the next morning found that we had a leak in our coil. They had it replaced the same day with in a couple of hours. John with All Star came out to check install and make sure everything was perfect!This industry is full of crooks! Fortunately I have had the pleasure of knowing the owner Ed Newby for many years. He built this company on honesty as well as integrity. He expects nothing Les from his employees. We have used All Star A/C in the past and keep coming back because from start to finish the service is great. The receptionist was friendly, and called back after an accidental disconnect which was appreciated. There was a quick turnaround time between when I called and the appointment date. The technician was on time, knowledgeable, respectful, and worked clean. He checked the unit, the air filters, the dampers, and the thermostat, diagnosed the problem, and offered multiple repair and replace options. He was patient in explaining the situation and answering all questions, and remembered our home and unit history from previous visits. All Star A/C, and Brian specifically, are highly recommended. Our appointment window was 8-10 AM, we got an on the way text message at 8:40, and the ETA of 30 minutes was accurate. All around very happy with the quality - hopefully our unit lasts a long time, but we appreciate the recommendation of a great replacement brand/model for when the time comes.
AC was down and I called All Star AC in the morning. A technician came out that morning and fixed the problem quickly at a fair price.
Great experience with All Star. We had a failed evaporator coil on our unit that is only a few years old. They made sure the part needed was covered under warranty and repairs were made as soon as possible. They don’t take payment until a follow up visit to ensure the install meets standard and everything is working properly. Everyone I interacted with was very professional and took pride in their work. Having A/C problems is never fun and I’m pleased that I found a reputable company. Will use again!
AC not working when we got up this morning. Called All Star and they were here in a couple of hours and had us back up and running quickly. Always a pleasure to do business with a company that emphasizes great customer service and care. We will probably need a new unit soon and we wont hesitate to call All Star A/C & Heating when we do! I have a home on the Northwest Side of Houston!! My hubby text me Thursday morning and said the A/C wasnt cooling I Google and found All Star A/C and Heating!! From the moment I called their office and spoke to Katie about my problem I was definitely in GOOD HANDS!! She immediately got me scheduled for a Tech to come out to my Home and inspect my unit!! Aries was fantastic he advise of the problem and stated he would forward my info on to Ann their in the office!! The Very next day Ann phone me and told she was able to GET THE PART that I needed to replace and she dispatched David to come out the Same Day to replace the part!! My entire experience with this company from Start to Finish was Superb and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to ANYONE I KNOW!! David, the service tech, was professional and diagnosed the issue quickly, then took the time to explain it to me and answer all my questions. He did not try to upsell me things I did not need. I would not hesitate to use All Star again in the future.
Ares was my service tech today! Did my heater turns up and he was super thorough, explained all the inspection points to me, showed me where he installed the drain line cleaning tabs and got me renewed for next years service! Thank you All Star for the honest work you all do!
This is the second time we have used All Star A/C & Heating. As my previous review, once again I give this company 5 stars! They are prompt, professional and honest. The job gets done right the first time. Today, Scott was the technician. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the issue right away and had our A/C fixed up in no time. St Mary’s Church needs to replace one of the buildings HVAC systems. Chris from All Star, was there at the appointment right on time . He was very polite, cheerful and had a positive attitude. We discussed the requirement briefly after I provided him with a specification and we then went on site to view the compressor / condenser unit and the air handler unit in the attic. All along the way, Chris took photographs of pertinent data and dimensions of the equipment. He then advised me that he need at least 48 hours to price everything out and would provide us with their estimated costs in a bid.
They installed a new a/c unit for the unit next door to mine. Although there was some confusion with the pipes (these are very old units with a weird plumbing system) once notified of the problem they contacted me immediately to have a team come out to access the problem. They quickly rectified the problem and explained the solution to me. Although they are not my primary company (I committed to another company prior) I would definitely recommend their services. They reopened my valve and ensured my pipes are in the right place.
We’ve been using All Star Air for many years. They have replaced both AC and heating systems. Honest, reliable and efficient. Recommended them to our neighbors and they were also very satisfied with their heating and AC system replacements.Update: Continued good service when replacing warrantied items on upstairs and downstairs AC units. Tim Kan is an excellent technician. Also replaced an original plenum which was 24 years old. Owner of the company immediately responded to my request! Awesome company to do business with!
I had quite a few estimates before making a decision. I found that All Star met all of my needs. Ed the owner was very knowledgeable and flexible. The crew that installed the equipment was professional and it was a lot quieter than I thought it would be. We have a new system and we love it! They also cleaned up after themselves and left no mess behind. I feel confident that if I ever run into any issues, I can count on All Star to help make it better. Highly recommend!
Ive had few service experiences as good as with All Star. Top notch people. Very informative, quick to respond. I had a tenant that was pretty uncomfortable in a hot house and All Star was there the next day to help us out. 2nd time using them and Ill use them again and again!
These guys came quickly and worked quickly! Really appreciated that they also came back to check to make sure everything was working as expected. This 9 month pregnant lady in this 104 degree heat is VERY appreciative of their services. Ed was very personable, and I highly recommend them!
5 stars for All Star! They were very quick to set up an appointment, punctual in arriving at the appointment time (were even available early), and were very professional. My AC issue was diagnosed, parts were ordered and replaced, and the issue was fixed, all in a matter of 2 hours. Technicians were friendly and personable as well. Top notch, all around.
Had my third service with them today. They have a $130 weekend fee. Figured they could wave that for a repeat customer but I guess not. Thankful someone could come out quickly. The part replaced was $350 but you can find online for $30-$50 (7x markup). I’m not handy so is what it is, I let the pros handle it. Brian is a great tech.I really liked the two teams that came to inspect my AC system and do the repair. They were very professional, listened, and were responsive. The tech that worked with me provided tiers is options instead of the “one expensive size fits all” and thoroughly explained the pros and cons of each. I definitely recommend.
Our AC broke today. Called All Star and they had someone available same day a few hours later! What a huge relief. They fixed the issue. Very nice and professional. Our AC is back on and working well. We will definitely use them again!
We have been using All Star since our neighbor recommended them when we moved to Spring in 2014. Ed Newby instantly won us over with his honesty and professionalism. But Ed is not doing service calls anymore and it is hard to find good help. So while I was not thrilled with All Star over the last few years, I was recently introduced to their Service Manager, John Baxter. While other AC companies are telling me I need to spend $15K for a new AC (which I cannot afford), John provided options for less money and even took time to troubleshoot the issue. It turns out it was a bad fan motor on the outside unit. $952 and 1 hour later and my AC is running. Thank you John!

I can not express enough the gratitude I have for this company. Unfortunately, I ran into some scammers that was trying to take it vantage of the fact that I have not been able to afford a new AC unit and have been without air conditioning going on three years. They Approached me as being affiliated with All Star, AC and heating. What they said and the presentation just did not mirror what All-Star AC and heating was presenting on their webpage. After a brief discussion with Mrs, Ann she assured me that they were not affiliated with the company, and it was in fact, a scam. She offered to send a technician to look at the situation. I was in with no obligation. I was so impressed with the professionalism and the knowledge the technician provided. Miss Ann Recognized that I was in a bind, and provided a solution that I just could not turn down. I got a great unit at a great price with with full confidence I made the right decision moving forward with the REAL All-Star AC and heating. There is scammers out there ….but All Star AC and heating are one of the good ones.
Dave was great. Knowledgeable and friendly. Got my AC started back up. Gave frank assessment about possible future issues without giving a hard sell.
I was given a service window of 12-2 the same day I called for an appointment. The tech arrived well within the time frame, was very thorough in diagnosing the problem and explaining it, and completed the work the same day.
Tim was very friendly and professional. He gave me a couple of tips on keeping the system healthy and explained a potential problem issue in the outdoor unit. I really appreciated the information. We really enjoy working with All Star.
This team is the best in Houston! Called them when our system was not working and they were able to get a tech out to us FAST. They fully assessed the situation, advised us of our options, and gave us all of the information necessary to make a decision. The repair was done SAME DAY, as they already had the parts on hand. HIGHLY recommend these good, honest folks!
All Star is the right name to be and by this company - they are professional and knowledgeable about the ins and outs of HVAC work. After and excellent service on my residence they showed care and attention to whatever needs or questions I had. They are very personable too! No matter who came out which made the process easy! If you’re wondering if they are worth it, they are - this is the company to use!
I called in the morning for a plumber to come and clean out my primary condensate drain line. I was told the plumber would arrive between 4 and 6 pm. I received a call from their tech Aries around 3:45pm to say he was on the way. He arrived around 4 and was gone before 5. No more water raining down from the eaves! Aries was professional and did a good job. I usually prefer to do my own work when I can but due to a broken foot I couldnt do it myself. If i need to hire someone, I expect a good job for my money. All-Star A/C and heating did a good job when I couldnt and I appreciate it. Thanks!
The team was very helpful and was able to diagnose the issue and provide a couple different options for the correction and also a guarantee that will also stand behind their work. They came out and did a follow up to ensure that the repairs were living up to the expectations. I have not seen that level of customer service from any service provider.
This is the best AC company. The techs are very professional and they do a great job. They always are either right on time or quite often able to come earlier than scheduled and will contact you to see if thats OK. I highly recommend All Star!
