Excellent service from a guy that should be designing systems rather than repairing them. If he cant fix what you need fixing Ill bet anything it cant be fixed. All we needed was a new igniter. Easy fix right? Wrong. Our system was so old it was hard, if not impossible to find parts. Not a problem for a Marine, Semper Fi, adapt and overcome. Take three igniters to piece together one that works and we are back with heat before the temp dropped to 19 degrees. We have on old outdated system that our home warranty will not replace, so whether servicing this one, installing a new one, or any heat and AC issue we have, we are sticking with Scott and military air.

Scott and his team came out and tackled a coil issue that was bungled by a previous company. Scott showed up on time and diagnosed the issue and corrected it quickly and a couple of issues he found for a reasonable price. On time, professional, knowledgeable and friendly service....what else can you ask for? Highly recommended !

Scott came out to inspect my AC unit which had stopped working. He happened to be on a nearby job so he was able to stop by quickly. He checked a few things and realized it was a breaker that had blown, and not anything that needed replacement. He inspected the unit, suggested adding a start unit to it to make it last longer, and I was up and going. I gladly paid the call out charge, I doubt any other AC company would have been so honest! Thanks again for the great service!

Thomas and the guy that was with him stayed all day. The had brought down the unit for the attic and when they turned everything on the compressor outside was damaged from what happened in the attic. Believe it or not they drove all the way to Spring from SF on a Saturday to pick up a compressor and back in the afternoon!! I could not believe they did that for my wife and I! Words can not describe how thankful we were. We spent a great deal of money but we have a complete new system now and it makes so much difference compared to the fifteen year old unit that broke down!!! They did amazing work!!, cleaned up, took everything with them, and stayed and triple checked everything to make sure it was working!!! Truly unbelievable!! These guys were awesome!!!!! Thank you!!!!They are now out of business. I hated to see that happen because the two service men that showed up were knowledgeable and did a fine job.

Scott performed a checkup on my AC system several years ago and recommended some helpful upgrades. I had to call him up again today because I was experiencing some issues with the AC unit cooling my home. His company got back to me right away, scheduled an appointment and the issue was resolved quickly and at a great price.He walked me through the checks he was completing and pointed out the problem areas and how he was going to fix them. I called military Air. I was answered right away. I had no ideal what was wrong with my ac. I talked over the phone with a gentleman named Scott. He assured me that everythings okay and hes here to help. I set up a service to my home and he arrived 20 minutes early . Listend too and answered all my questions and concerns. We had a home warranty claim. Our AC quit in the middle of a typical Houston August heat wave. Even though it was after hours my request was acknowledged. Not only that the order my warranty company put through didnt go through so she went out of her way to contact the company to get the work order and scheduled us for repair the next morning. By noon the next day we had AC! I cant say enough about the exceptional consideration and care we were given. The professionalism and prompt service were both appreciated. Highly recommend!

I was first introduced to Military Air through a home warranty call. They did a wonderful job for me. The next warranty job, on a different place, was covered by another AC company and it did not go well. I found out that the home warranty company wasnt using Military Air any longer. So I cancelled the home warranty and continued to use Military Air for all of my service calls. They have always given me excellent service and they go the extra mile to make sure that my problem is solved, every time. Military Air has always stood behind their work and I feel that the quality of their company and service is the best in Houston. I never get the up-sell treatment here; I get honest people doing their best work for a fair price. Once I found that, I have no need to call anyone else!

Was without AC for 2 months this summer due to the incompetence of this company. Our home warranty claim was assigned to Military Air when our AC stopped working. The first issue was it took them weeks to get the correct evaluation submitted to home warranty. Once everything was approved and parts ordered they cancelled my repair appointment on two separate occasions. Finally they install the new equipment and nothing changes with the AC. Have to open a recall ticket with home warranty. Military comes out and the diagnosis is that I ruined another piece of equipment during the months that I was waiting on my unit to be fixed, because I didn’t do something they never told me to do. The new repair will like cost $3,000 and after numerous calls with my home warranty decide to cancel my home warranty service as the home warranty agrees with Military Air’s diagnosis. Get a 2nd opinion to come out regarding the AC and the real issue was Military Air didn’t install the new equipment correctly. Not installing equipment correctly is a mistake that someone could make, but then on the recall inspection to not even identify this being the issue and instead try to charge me for a new piece of equipment that wasn’t even required is completely unacceptable! Short story, if you want slow, unprofessional, unskilled service with potential fraud Military Air is fine, otherwise look for AC service somewhere else.Here is my response to the owners response of my review…The reason I took the time to write the review is because you said I needed a new compressor. In reality, you installed the evaporator coil incorrectly as confirmed by the 2nd opinion. Another company was able to fix your mistake fairly quickly and my system works fine. I did not need to spend thousands of dollars on a new compressor as I was told by Military Air and Landmark. That is the reason I wrote the review, prior to that I was unhappy, but would not have taken the time to review.

Military Air did an exceptional job repairing my AC unit they were in and out in less than a hour. They gave me a time frame from 8 AM to 12 PM unlike others who gave me all day appointments. They arrive about 9 o’clock and we’re done about 10am. I gave him (Jonathan) quick rundown on how my A/C wasn’t cooling my house. He was able to quickly assess and repair my AC I am very thankful for them because it happened during a heat advisory, and they had my house cooled off in no time.

I had a very positive experience with Military Air this morning. They called very promptly once they received my service request to let me know that the technician would be calling about 20 minutes before his arrival. Like clockwork, Jacob called when he was on his way. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining what he was repairing, and he was very careful to put on shoe covers when entering our home. He got our system back up and working, he tested afterward, he thanked me, and he was on his way. Excellent service!

This company was sent to us via our home warranty company. If I could rate them with a negative number, I WOULD! It took over 6 weeks to install our unit. They lied multiple times to us and our warranty company about the part being picked up. They charged us for parts that were NEVER installed ( a new pad for the new unit that they told the warranty company was a mandate). We were charged $140 for a 16 piece of copper tubing to connect the new unit. They NEVER once contacted us as to why it was taking so long to obtain the part or why it was taking them so long to come out. EVERY call that was made was from us to them! They told us we would receive and itemized invoice for our out-of-pocket expenses and it was NEVER received (we had to get the itemized charges from our warranty company). Juan even admitted over the phone to me that our horrible treatment was solely because we were dealing with a warranty company. I have NEVER had such terrible service from a company! And have already informed the warranty company of their tactics. NEVER USE THEM if you value good customer service, prompt dealing, and honesty...THEY CANNOT PROVIDE ANY OF IT

He contacted me to let me know he was on his way, and once he arrived he quickly assessed the issue and got to work on fixing the problem. I must say that most of my experiences with AC technicians Have been sketchy at best. You are always left with doubt and concern about what is actually being quoted. I was referred to Military air by a friend who mentioned his honest experience with them. I dont expect a company to be the cheapest but i do expect honesty, after all the goal is a lifetime customer. Scott and his tech thoroughly explained my issue and even went as far as taking up in the attic and showing me what the issue was with my air handler. In the end it was a fair price and i felt as if i learned something. Thanks Military Air for great service and honesty, i will definitely recommend this company.PS. Loretta in the office is awesome!! She answered all my billing questions in timely and polite manner.

They will not overcharge or repair anything that isnt totally necessary. They are very knowledgeable, extremely helpful and customer service is always top notch! Here waiting for the second time for them to show. They give 4 hour windows for coming. There’s about 10 minutes left within their window today and no one has arrived, no one has called, and no one picks up their phone. Someone by the name LORETTA DAVIS finally responded to my email and it was the worst response I have ever received. They said they are not doing tune ups at this time and to just call my warranty company to reschedule. They also made a big deal to say they came one day but no one showed up. They didn’t call me to say they arrived and my cousin didn’t hear them - honest mistake that we apologized for hence the rescheduling. Why did you reschedule me twice for a tune up then and waste my time?? Worst AC company I have ever worked with. 0/10. They should be shut down.

My technician Cody and the other 2 technicians Xavier and Jacob were very friendly and knowledgeable. They explained everything to me and were very honest in not over selling me. Each time they came out they were on time. Cody even went above and beyond to try to help me set up my new nest thermostat.. I truly appreciate having a company like Military Air that I can trust .

I love this team! I call and they can basically diagnose the problem over the phone; whats even better is that I get someone out to the residence sooner than later (unlike some of the other companies)...Military Air always has great customer service, and super professional! We had them come out a on a home warranty call. They showed up when they promised and quickly foudn the problem was that a prior AC contractor had gotten our AC working in the summer but had set wiring to have the blower come on only for AC and not at all for heat! It was too late to get the proper part that day, but they made us their first call the next business day and had us up and running within 20 minutes. They also gave us some good ideas to help get our house cooler in the summer months. I look forward to using the in the future.

So many one star ratings. They will give you excuses for everyone of the horrible experiences that their customers have had but they are still horrible experiences. If you have a lot of money to waste and dont mind waiting forever in a house with no AC, then these are the folks for you. Our home warranty people picked this company and said they would call us but said to call them if we dont here from them in 2 or 3 days. First Red Flag. 3 days later they call and say they will be out. They come out say that it is out of freon and they will be back in 3 to 4 days. On the 4th day I call and they say they have not turned the diagnosis into the home warranty people yet. They only turn them in on Mondays. 3 more days. Then when they get a response back they will call us to schedule. We called another company and they came out the same day and the AC was working that day, We called and cancelled our request for service with Military Air. They said no problem, 2 days later I got an email from my home warranty saying that Military air ordered a Air handler, heat strips , and a drier. What happened to it only needs freon and who are these parts going to and being charged to my home warranty. Now Im ready for Lorettas reason for each of these issues and Scotts threat of give me a call and lets settle this. I wont be using this company or any company related to it and will not be coming back to this site to read this response, so save your breath. I just hope this saves at least one other person form going through this nightmare. My response to the owners response; First off thank you for your service in the military. Next, you are delusional. This service was for my 86 year old mother with no AC. After 2 weeks of not getting the AC fixed from your company we went with someone else. Fact. The other company, Crosby Air fixed it the next day. Fact. That is all that needs to be said and all your potential customers need to know. Both companies were working with the Home Warranty. One company knew how to do it in one day.

I think there service was well, their work was adequate, and their techs were very nice. However, there are 2 things that could be improved on. One is notifying the costumer is there is a change in the schedule or calling them back when they schedule the costumer. the other is the tech should have all the tools to do a job. The tech who fixed my ac was knowledgeable of everything, but didnt have any electrical tape to wrap his connections. I had too. Granted, there might be a reason; could of been in a different truck because his was broke down, etc. But other than those 2 things, service was adequate. Just dealing with the home warranty was difficult. Do not blame the contractors for the logistics nightmare that happens with the home warranty, judge them buy the quality of work and business.

Our work order was assigned to them on Monday because our air conditioning system was having trouble cooling. After calling repeatedly and leaving a voicemail, we still haven’t heard from them by the following Saturday. Our air conditions system is now failing on a Saturday and they’re closed. We have 4 small children that are going to have to suffer through a hot house over a weekend now because Military Air doesn’t return phone calls.**Edit: You must not have my phone number correct because I have no missed voicemails. We didnt wait to complain a week later, we have been trying to work with the home warranty company who told us you were busy but would reach out. We were assigned another company before yours, but they cancelled the contract because they were too busy I tried calling your office and the line of busy several times.You stated that You have not received any calls from any home warranty companies for my name. then said I just received the cancellation for my work order. Which one is it?

The office scheduler called me to schedule a appointment for the same day( she was very sweet I think her name was chanel) When the tech arrived ON TIME he let me know what all what was going to happen. The office manager Loretta called me to let me know they were going to get my a/c working again. She is awesome!!!!!! He fixed it right away!! Me and my family had a great sleep that night with the A/C working like a champ. THANK YOU FOR GETTING THIS SCHEDULED SO FAST AND WORKING AS A TEAM!!! My experience with military air has been awful. I reported my air conditioner not blowing cool air and the outside unit fan not turn with a loud noise to my warranty company on June 21st. In addition to that the thermostat was not showing correct air temperature bc I had the unit set to 71 degrees and the house was 75 degrees. The next day Militay Air set up an appointment with me for the following business day. By the time Military Air came the unit had completely cut out. The tech came out and wasnt at my residence for a complete hour; he stated he knew what the problem was and had fixed it, then he took me outside to explain that he put a new capacitor on the unit and then put more freon in. He pointed out a part on the unit that is suppose to be sweating and told me that it should always be sweating and left. I gave the house a few hours to cool but I could still tell a few hours later something still was wrong. The house was 86 degrees by this time so I called them back on Thursday. They set up an appointment to return from 9 to 1 and the tech showed after 1 after I called to see were they still coming, this was Friday June 25th. The same tech came out and before ever going outside stated that I needed a whole new system and that he had tried to do a quick fix to buy me more time and keep me from having to wait on ordering parts, which to me was a bunch of bull and laziness. He said he only needed to get the part number to order and left. I tried being understanding and thanked him and just bared through the weekend only to come to now July 10th and still be waiting. Military Air was supposed to have my air fixed on July 9th and my appointment was between 9 and 1 but they never showed and if it wasnt for mu husband and me calling we would have never know they werent coming. I hope the work they do will be done completely right and I wont have to deal with this company ever again. As of now my whole family is waiting patiently in the 89 degree house that over 3,000 sq. Ft until Tuesday if they technician actually shows up.

On Monday 3/30 I called for service on my A/C talked to a gentleman in the office who worked to get me in asap. I got appointment for the following day Tuesday 3/31. The technician came out as promised checked the unit and repaired in a matter of minutes..... as always great service from this company. BTW I live near the coast and they are out of Houston a little distance, but again always great service.

I feel like they are scam artists. The insurance company assigned our claim to Military Air. Their tech came out, said we needed a coil and had to send in a repair request to the insurance company. They didnt send in the repair request for 6 days that left us without a/c. They tried to add on company policy additional cost for emergency catch pan and 2 float valves. On checking these items were functional and in place. They wanted $300 additional fee for this.

Waited for a week for the diagnosis of our air conditioner to make it to our home warranty company. I called, the woman who answered your phone was not at all helpful and actually very rude. I was told that the person handling this was too busy to speak with me. I understand that working with both the home owner and the warranty company can be exhausting, however, the costumer service here is unacceptable. I will gladly be paying another $75 to have different company fix my air conditioner.

I cannot say enough positive things about this company and everyone we cAme in contact with who works for them. Our home warranty company sent them out when we found condensation in our attic, Jonathan came out and diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately. He even tuned up our AC when I mentioned I was worried our AC would break with a Newborn in the house in the heat of the summer.Cody and Edgar came out to replace our drain pan and were knowledgeable and professional and educated us about a few things to keep our eye out for in the future. I would use this company again with or without our home warranty being involved.

Dear, Military air ownerMilitary Air has been on of the most gracious contractors i know i had a air conditioning issue in my home and my husband who is in the marines and i saw one of their trucks going down I 10 one day. So i thought i would give them a call even though i was on the verge of giving up considering every contractor i have contacted wanted to charge me 13 THOUSAND DOLLARS to fix my issue!!!I was told that i had multiple leaks through out my condenser and coil from what i understand the inside and outside unit, and that there was no fix for leaks. So i go to find out i had to replace them. After i called in and spoke to this wonderful young lady named Desra she set up an appointment that worked with my schedule and then i spoke to Loretta the manager on deck, and she explained to me my options and what i could do i was so thankful for their kindness. I worked something out with her over the phone via financing and got a new system in my home for a fraction of the original price the other contractors were going to charge. Lastly i would like to thank the installers Cody and Edward who explained the whole installation to me and kinda of broke it down for me or so to speak. I love these guys THEY ROCK!!!

UPDATE: The company’s reply is laden with lies. I had to buy portable A/C units for my tenants due to the 15 days they were without A/C due to Military Air’s refusal to respond and lies! Deceitful Company!One of the most unprofessional and unethical contractors Ive dealt with in over 25 years as a homeowner!My warranty company dispatched this contractor. The technician told me the entire system inside and out needed to be replaced and should be fully covered by the warranty company, but it would take a week to get the approval and parts, In the meantime, he offered to charge the system with 6 to 8 lbs of freon to get it up and running (at a cost of $125 per lb). I declined spending $750 to $1000 on refrigerant for a week. The technician told me the evaporator coil had a leak and the system was being run with low freon which caused additional strain to the compressor outside causing it to trip a safety mechanism which shut the system off to prevent damage (like a car engine being run without oil).I was shocked to receive the denial from warranty co a week later. Specifically the claim denial was due to the system being run without refrigerant for an extended period of time causing secondary damage. After receiving the denial, I called the technician and I spoke to him for over 40 mins to get a full explanation of problem. He said the system was not out of freon, that it had 65% of freon, and he said warranty co would not pay to replace the outdoor compressor unless it was completely broken, which it was not. He said once the evaporator coil was replaced, the compressor would be fully operational.I called warranty co back to dispute the denial since, according to the technicians explanation and work order, any secondary damage would have been to the compressor outside and not the evaporator coil which was the source of the leak and the part responsible for any secondary damage.Warranty co said they needed to call Military Air back for further details since they failed to provide a serial number or model information w/claim. For over 4 days, warranty co and I called Military Air and their technician over 20 times and they did not answer or return our calls! Finally warranty co reached Military Air on the 5th day, and to my complete shock they told me they were upholding the denial since Military Air NOW said the system was run with low refrigerant and this caused secondary damage to the indoor unit as well as the outdoor unit which is in complete disagreement with everything their technician told me. Not once did the technician mention damage to the indoor unit neither verbally, nor in the written work order or warranty submission he provided me with a copy of. However, he did mention how Military Air prioritizes their private residential customers, especially those with multiple properties (as I had) over warranty business in an obvious attempt to get me to use their services to replace the entire system once warranty co denied the claimAlso while I was waiting for the re-review of the claim, I called Military’s office to ask if they could partially charge with 2 to 3 lbs of freon to get the unit running, and they said no, it was illegal to fill if the system had more than 30% refrigerant loss. I asked why their technician would offer this service then, and they had no explanation and said, maybe that was something the technician was offering to do on his own, on the side.Following the denial, I had another contractor come out to take a look at the system. He was appalled at the behavior and diagnosis the Military Air technician submitted to warranty co and suggested I file a complaint against Military Air with the TDLR, agency that licenses HVAC contractors , and he offered to provide me with a sworn affidavit attesting to the condition of the system and diagnosis. I am filing the complaint with TDLR now. My contractor fixed the problem, a faulty fan motor, for $400! Stay far away from this contractor! There is nothing worse than an unethical and dishonest HVAC contractor!

I have had to deal with them twice now through home warranty insurance and nothing but headache, long repair wait times and terrible customer service, for several reasons:1) they came and checked out the AC unit and went straight to the problem being the compressor - one of the most expensive things to replace. I didnt know any better so went with it - of course HW didnt pay for the replacement of the refrigerant. a week later similar symptoms, blower is running but only hot air coming out. After I doing some digging around it turned out that the safety switch was preventing the ac compressor to start running because of the condensate line getting plugged. They dont do proper trouble shooting and went with the wrong diagnosis to get more money from the home warranty insurance. Oh, also - the whole repair took more than a week due to many of their excuses. Best part - this was in the middle of a heat wave in the summer.2) they were assigned again for another house that I am renting out - similar wait times with the tenants threatening to sue or for compensation because it took them more than a week to replace the condenser fan.3) both instances, the technician was nice and responsive. But the person on the phone was not helpful and rude and took every question i had around timing to be offensive.My advice - avoid them at all cost. I have already blacklisted them from being used from my home warranty insurance company. I will not use them any more.

The insurance company assigned my claim to Military Air. Their tech came out on day 3 after claim submitted, said we needed a coil replacement and speak to the insurance company. My insurance company s still waiting for their diagnosis report so they can have it approved and fixed. It is already 1 week without ac and I m still waiting for that report. Not sure why it would take that long for a report to be completed and submitted. I have called everyday to both my insurance company and to them directly, all i got was i had to wait for their supervisor or boss to start work on it ( isnt the technician who checked the unit s supposed to complete the report?). And my insurance company left them many voice message without response back.

I was assigned to this company thru my home warranty. The first gentleman came out was great. Once they came out to replace the a/c unit in the attic the two gentlemen Thomas and older man had no clue what they were doing. They fried something and crossed electric wires know my thermostat doesnt work correctly and they claim my outside compressor is broke when it was completely okay prior to them messing with things. They beat the new unit forcing it to fit into the space. Oh yea they said it was done then came back an hour later at 9:30pm at night saying they didnt move it all the way in place thats when it was banged and moved around. The office lady who answers the main phone is completely rude and even hung up on me today! After speaking with Juan in dispatch that I did not want Thomas to return to my home, I was told Jacob would be out. No Jacob only Thomas and the old man were sent back to my home. The old man was caught with his pants unbuttoned and zipper down in my backyard. My a/c is not working right and I refuse to pay for the mistakes that workers made. I wish I would have known before agreeing to use this company. I will never use or recommend this service. If I was the owner I would be completely embarrassed by the employees you hired to represent this company. The front office lady needs to be fired. This needs to be corrected so that we can go our separate ways. I have requested to speak with the owner or manager.

I called to confirm my appt. left voice message and no call back. When I called again I was told that my appointment had been cancelled 1 week ago- I was not notified, neither was my insurance company. I waited on my appointment for 3 weeks only for Military Air to not advise of the change made. No communication what so ever- I took half day off work for their 1-4 pm appt. Unprofessional (although nice) workers, and horrible customer services. I would give a zero star if possible.Asked them to replace the broken AC but they brought a wrong model. Wrong AC was installed and leaked all over the room. Although they replaced the AC after several days, the AC space and connecting restroom cabinet have been totally damaged by the leaking water. Asked for a compensation but was rudely refused.Never touch this company. Avoid financial loss and spiritual damage.

Our A/C unit quit working. Their contractor came out on Friday and I walked around with him and he asked me some details. He told me that the blower motor was not working and the control board was fried. Ok. This is all he told me. He said he would submit the claim and I should hear something by Tuesday.I get called and told my claim was denied because the contractor deemed that a power surge caused the malfunction and that is not covered by the warranty. When asked how they came to this conclusion and if anything else could have caused the issue they just said that this is what the contractor said and this is not covered. No breaker was tripped and no other appliances were experiencing any other problems. Just the A/C that has been making a noise well before any power outage.I then went to look at the breaker box. We have an entire home surge protector that is actively working. I called the maker of the surge protector and she walked me through the unit and we came to the conclusion that the surge protector was functioning as it should and does not show that that any surge was taken by the unit causing it to fail.Ok. Good news right? The reason I was given for denial sounds quite impossible seeing that a my entire house and appliances are protected with a surge protector. I asked for the reasons for denial once again and she brings up the power surge. I then informed her of the entire home surge protector we have at our breaker box. Suddenly, she states that it was also denied because of a dirty outside coil! I asked her why she didnt tell me this on the initial phone conversation and she stated that she didnt know of it then. I asked her how a dirty coil could cause a blower motor motherboard to go out. She said she didnt know and was just reading what the contractor wrote. She then said that the claim was being denied because the unit wasnt properly maintained. She then said you have not properly maintained the unit. This unit is 11 years old and we purchased the house ten months ago.The previous owner had the A/C tuned up by one of the warranty company’s contractors before we bought the house in order to make sure it was properly functioning. We have only owned the house for 10 months and the A/C has been maintained since we bought the house. How many times was I supposed to get the unit maintained if it was just serviced before we bought the house? I spoke with Military Air and they could not say if the dirty coil would cause the blower motor control board to malfunction. They told me a dirty coil could cause other problems but she couldnt tell me that a dirty coil was the possible cause of my problem. Hmmm? So another reason for a denial that the contracting company can not tell me is even possible to cause my problem. My problem wasnt that it was not cooling efficiently. It quit cooling all together.How many units out there have “dirty” coils? A power surge ruined my equipment on a house that is protected by an entire home power surge protector that is properly functioning and does not even show a surge took place?So needing our a/c to work I called Military Air and asked for a quote to fix our unit. I was sent a quote for $6,500! They said I needed an entire new unit?!?! Needless to say I called someone else. They told me that the control board was fine but it did need a new blower motor. The outdoor coil being “dirty” shouldn’t have caused this issue. Quote to fix was $800. Needless to say that our unit is now working fine and it’s the same unit and not the $6,500 unit I “needed”. Military Air seems like a company that tries to make a quick buck on clients in a bad situation who wouldn’t ask questions because they need their a/c fixed in 90 degree weather. Shame on you.

Outstanding service! I had another A/C company come out to diagnose problems with our air conditioning. After a week, they said they needed to replace my furnace (inside) and condenser (outside). Just didnt seem right, so I called Military Air, after they did some A/C work at my place of work USVETS. The rep. they sent out Chris was knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to explain so much more than I ever knew about A/C. He isolated the problem quickly, informed me of the cost up front, and ordered the parts. 2 days later everything worked perfectly. The best part was I didnt have to spend $10,000 to replace the furnace and condenser, and got a 10% discount to boot! This company not only ruined my water heater they also ruined my holidays. Military air was sent out through my home warranty company to do our routine winter check-up on the furnace. While doing so, the technician informed us that our water heater may not be vented properly, and installed some ventilation that caused our water heater not to work. When we reached out to military air and explained what happened they refused to take any responsibility and suggested that we take it up with the home warranty company who in turn said that we needed to take the matter up with military air and refused any liability in the matter now we are stuck holding the bag and needing to replace a 4 year old water heater at the beginning of the new year. I come from a military family and have witnessed the way that my family members that where in the military do their jobs with a sense pride and conviction and to get less then that from a company that calls itself military air is truly a disappointment and a disrespect to the people who actually do a great service to this country. If I could give them less stars I would. Truely a horrible experience that we are still going through and I would warn anyone that uses this company not to do it and to take their business elsewhere. We have a plumber coming to fix their mistakes and a lawyer who will be filing suit on them to simply cover our losses.

I own a rental home with an A/C which required yearly doses of Freon. As the years went by, the number of times I required a charge of Freon went up. I was easily spending $500+ each year. Enough!I did some research, met with a number of Houstons known A/C installers. I chose one which worked for me. I opted to gut the old system; heating and a/c.Appointment scheduled.Day of install, the HVAC guys arrive, unload their trucks and get right to work. It was early morning and they 2 guys doing the install, must of had their breakfast & coffee. They were easy going and held light convo during the build out.Heres the kicker. They did not work for the company I hired. The company I hired, hired them; Military Air A/C and Heating. It was a little surprising but at the end of the day, Im only concerned with the quality of work.Military Air A/C and Heating, as it turns out, is also only concerned with quality installation. The old system was removed and the new system installed without a scratch on my walls or staircase. All parts removed and taken offsite.We went in the attic and they explained each part to me, what to look for if there are any issues, how the attached filtration system worked, and how to check for drainage back ups. Once done, they advised how the new thermostat operated within the system itself.Great Attitude.Awesome Job.Awesome Experience.Highly Recommended.

So, my review of military air is that they WERE good, but then went WAY downhill.I USED to use them, and had them replace a coil and were great. Then had an issue with a drain line, and after it not being fixed the first time. I called back. After no response for a couple of days, I was called by them for payment. I explained it wasnt fixed, and as the person on the phone talked to someone else, I overheard its the guy that left the message - so they got it. Just choose not to do anything for it.I then had an issue with my heater. It would turn on, but not actually heat. With a 8 1/2 month old, and freezing temperatures - that is not good. After a call on Sunday (they dont work Sundays), I left a message and hoped that they would call me back. The next day (Monday), knowing they are terrible at returning calls, I called them at 8:15 am (they open at 8). I was told that they were having some sort of computer problems, and that they hadnt made the technician schedule for the day due to it. But would get someone out to look at it. They had someone out at about 9:30 and diagnosed an issue. My wife was home, and I asked that the technician tell me the issue, mostly because my wife will admittedly not do a great job of explaining the issue. The technician diagnosed and said he would call me with the issue. About 2 hrs later after not hearing anything. I found out he already left, but he never called me. I then called the technician twice - straight to voicemail. Eventually, around 3 pm, he finally called back and said it was an issue with a sensor and that it needed to be replaced. The very next logically question came to my mind, cool, but when will that be? He said he put in his notes, and that the back office would find the part and call me. After a freezing night, I called the back office 8:30 (again they open at 8). The person who answered said she was not in yet, but would call me back in ~20 minutes after she had the ability to view the notes. After an hour, I called back (9:30) and was told that their operations person was not in, and that SHE would have to look at the notes to find the part. The notes have been in the system for over 24 hrs at this point, why was this not done the day before? How hard is it to find this part? Should I go out and by a space heater?My wife, frustrated, called to try to understand more about when we would know when the issue would be fixed. While frustrated, she did not yell. She was told, to stop yelling (she wasnt). She then asked to speak to a manager, or owner, and was told Well he’s in a meeting. She said, I’ll wait, in an attempt to call her bluff. But was then told, no, Ill leave him a message. Flash forward to a few hours, she called back. I have not heard from him, and was told, oh he knows (Not sure if he actually did). My wife said, look you have an angry customer, so I would like to speak with someone else, she was told We have a lot of angry customers. When my wife then said, very calmly, I would like to talk to the owner, because we are debating about whether to continue using you for service in the future she was told well good luck with that.So, my story is that - they have some good technicians (or maybe just the owner is), and their back office has zero follow through, and does not know how to handle frustrated customers, which when peoples AC/Heater go out - will probably be frustrated. I get that all customers want to be treated as the number 1 priority and that cant always happen, but just basic following through is needed. I honestly, feel that with my last item, if I had not been persistent in calling multiple times, I would not have gotten a call back except when I needed to pay. There is no way I can recommend them anymore. I used to really like them and would be happy to recommend them to others. But not anymore. Now my only advice is to steer clear as far away as possible.

A appointment was made through our home warrenty company for them to come fix our a/c in the heat of summer. Took off work and waited for them. They never showed up and never called. When we asked if they were still coming he said his truck broke down and didnt know when he was going make it. I have seen a pattern that the list of contracted providers that the home warranty chooses are just not quality ones. My husband has been back and forth with both Military Air and our home warranty company. We just found out that that Military Air refuses to give our home warranty company their diagnosis report. Unfortunately, we had to use these guys due to our warranty company. They missed the first 3 scheduled appointments for the diagnosis. Then would only fix warranty issue with nearly $1000 inrequired components and labor in addition to what they received from the home warranty company.They did such a terrible job. Cut holes in the plenum too big for the duct. Constantly have issues with the duct falling out, and more. This company is such a rip off and to claim they take care of the military is even more pathetic, as if being dishonest, having such a great lack of hvac skill and knowledge, and horrible customer service wasnt enough, they play up taking care of military.They have no idea how to fix hvac, they upsell home warranty issues to make more money, and refuse to fix issues. Weve had to pay another company to fix this companies problem. Not worth using the home warranty if you have to deal with these yahoos.

We had a water leakage on the ceiling last July 1st around afternoon time and I called my home warranty. Service scheduled by my home warranty from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Jonathan T. came in to check on my AC. I went with him in the attic to see what he is going to do. He said that there was no water leaking. So I just told him what happened last time that there was lots of water that came out, leaking and soaked the foam insulation. He said that “ What do you want me to do? Break it so the water will come out “. I was surprised with his attitude. I didn’t argue but I told him that I just want to let him know what happened last time and if my husband did not put an aluminum food pan underneath and drain the water from the other drainage tube, the ceiling had fallen off. The guy said that he doesn’t care about the house and also he said that if we know how to fix it, we should have fixed it and we should have not called them. I told him that we don’t know what is happening to the ac and we just fixed what we know we can at that time so it will not flood the attic. He still insisted that he doesn’t care about the house and we should have known it before hand because of the the rusty ac pan. I told him that we just moved in to the house last June 28th and we are still settling in and we did not know that this will happen. He questions the home inspection report, he said that this thing did not happen overnight. He thought that I am telling him what he needs to do. He seems like that he doesn’t believe us that there’s so much water when it’s leaking and I’ve asked him if he wants to come back in the afternoon when it’s hot so he can see the leakage. He said that I am telling him to seat in the attic and wait for the ac to leak. Oh my goodness, this guy can’t get it. We had 10 liters of water in the bucket in less than three hours that late afternoon after my husband temporarily fixed the problem. I had to squeeze the foam insulation just to drain out the water. My husband made a hole in the ceiling just to drain the water. That’s how bad it was and I am worried about my house and you will hear this from this guy?! He was rude. You don’t say to your customers that you don’t care about their house and don’t tell your customer not to call them. Who wants to call this person? I don’t want him to come back to my house and as he showed no respect. He even left the stairs to the attic open. I’ve called the company and tried to talk to the supervisor but I’ve got the dispatcher, Edward, on the line and he said he will let her know. This ac guy taped the ac unit where the leakage was but he said we should have done that ourselves. He was yelling from his car telling me to call his supervisor and the home warranty company for me to report him and he said he will report me also while I am taking a picture of the phone number and company’ name. Rude! One rotten tomato will ruin your company!

I can not believe this place is still in business based on how they treat their customers. NEVER would I ever recommend this place to anyone. We have a warranty on our house. So hey sent this company. Beginning of October. 1st it was the thermostat. They had to come back 2nd appointment. Thermostat wasnt compatible. So he put it in. Then he left saying it was working. 2 hours later called because it wasnt working at all. 3rd visit he said he wired it wrong so took hours to get it to work. That at least was covered by warranty. 3 visits for thermostats. 3 visits taking off of work.Then few weeks later. It wasnt heating. They came out 4th visit. Was told it was a zoning boardNot covered by warranty. They had one in truck but wasnt compatible. 5th visit installed it 500 dollars. Said would be in working order. Called wasnt working. 6th visit. Somebody came out and he said that it was wired wrong. He said was in working order. Then there was no change. Still same problems. 7th visit. They came out and said it was the dampers. Said will call us with estimate. Waited a week then called them..Its in december now..No matter how many times to explain to us it was dampers. The man told us we would be fine. They still didnt understand the frustration of 7 visits. Still taking off of work. The zoning board did nothing to help. I called and they wouldnt answer. *69..guess what they answered..Never received call back. We had another company come out. It wasnt the zoning board. That was 500 that didnt need to be replaced. Plus was put in a bad area also. Zoning board was a cheap part. So today it was finally fixed. Please beware.Plus they were aware of husband military status and no discount. What a waste of money and time. From October to Jan 19th. To have it working again.

Overall not a good experience. Paid the tech in cash which he never reported to the company. I called over 5 times t ask them to show the balance paid in full but that never happened. Customer service quality is terrible. After confirming an appointment, no one showed and when I called in was told the “owners” move stuff around and my appointment is lost. They said they would call me back with an update. No call. I called in and was told they rescheduled me for tomorrow from 8-12. How can you schedule me if you don’t know I’m available?!?! Would never use this service again.

Do not go with this company the lady that always answers the phone is so rude. We had an appointment for Monday for them to come and replace the A/C unit The weather conditions were poor outside due to rain I called to see if there was any way we could reschedule for a later time That day since it wasn’t going to rain the whole day she decided to reschedule till Friday after waiting almost two months to resolve this issue and she started to say she didn’t care this company it’s a joke.
