Today Luke came out to to look at my air handling system. It is old and needed some love. I didn’t think that I would be able to get a new system, but Luke made it happen. I was approved with payments that I could afford and got me into a unit that is better than I expected. I will update as the unit gets installed.Update:In just under 6 hours, from arrival time to departure, less than 24 hours of closing the deal with Luke, I have brand new system installed and working better than I could have imagined. I am truly impressed with the quality of service that I have received from Royal Air, Air Conditioning & Heating. Simply amazing. The crew was fast, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. They were mindful of any mess and cleaned it up immediately. And of course, Luke is amazing. Without his help, I would not have been able to do this. In my humble opinion, everyone should be purchasing their air conditioning and heating needs from Royal Air. You simply are not going to find better prices, better service or a higher quality of performance than from Royal Air. And just like that, before I finished writing this comment, my house is warm and comfortable. Thank you Royal Air and thank you Luke. You have a customer for life.

I dont think there are words that what Luke did for us. We were in search of a new a/c unit and had all companies in the Houston come by the give us quotes. We had Elmer, SA Specialist, ARS, Constellation and Royal Air. Luke came in and help us make the decision really easy. We got the best for the least. I dont know how Luke did it but he did. Thanks Luke. Day Two. The installers came today Camilo and Steven. They gave us the best treatment. They came in took out our old a/c unit and put in the new unit in no time flat. I work from home and they didnt make any fuss. In a couple of hours they completed the job and cleaned up. Camilo even walked me through how to change the air filter and explained everything to me in detail. If anyone out there is looking for an a/c unit call Luke and Royal Air. They treat you like royalty and charge you as if your were peasant.
Luke has done an amazing job explaining and showing me how everything works. I have a better understanding of the AC unit and he does not bs but gets straight to the point without wasting my time. Very Bad Company !!!! Starting with their sales staff by not telling you the truth about what actually you need. Incompetent installer ( By the way you better speak Spanish in order to communicate with the installers) that never let me know we needed to install new breakers inside because the new furnace was too big and powerful for the old breaker, putting my house and family at risk of fire and causing the unit to stop working. I have to wait until they have a tech available on my area since they don’t have installers or/and technicians in the DFW area. They are based in Houston. If you are outside of Houston area you have to wait until hey have others Job on your area to serve you. UNACCEPTABLE !! Doug who was the tech that came to my house showed up after 9:30 pm when my appointment was from 11:00 am to 4pm. Explained to me how that is a common issue since sales agents don’t explain that to customers and it is not the first time for him seeing this happening and, to fix it, he asked me to pay $1,250, apparently per company policy ( REALLY). We called them again and spoke to Ashley and she assured me they will come to fix it and they will not charge us as it should have been included during the initial installation. They are now telling me that Ashley was new and she gave me the wrong information and that we will need to pay the above mentioned amount to fix this issue. They deserve zero starts if, in fact, this rating is based on their service.
Luke was excellent to work with! We had a 15yr Goodman unit that was causing our electric bill to average 350-500 monthly. He worked hard to find us financing and setup installation. We are so grateful to have met him today!

Curtis Landers from Royal Air came to our home today to do some warranty work, he was very efficient, very knowledgeable & solved our problems perfectly. We highly recommend him. In the past we only received workers that could only speak Spanish, so we couldnt communicate, finally they sent out Curtis who actually spoke English, and we were able to speak with him the whole time, that was great. We had a great experience today.
My technician Joshua was the best. Very pleasant guy. He was very knowledgeable he answered all our questions. Such a nice guy. My husband can be very difficult to deal with, with all his questions but Joshua was very patience and kind and took the time to answer his questions.. So thank you Joshua for being You!!!

10000000% recommended I can honestly say Luke went above and beyond to ensure all our expectations were met. From staying out until very late and taking the drive all the way out here. Finding the best price for our family! We are beyond thankful. But unfortunately after it was installed and I got my first bill it was much higher then what I was told it to be from 170 to 216 is a big difference and is understandable which I call to the bank and they told me it they responsibility to explain it to us and let us know how it works, which he failed to do and on my contract has left a blank that is the only complaint and the only downfall of this whole situation
Several months ago in July, Royal Air installed a new unit for $8,000. It works fine, but when they plumbed the lines they blocked assess to the air filter making impossible to install the air filter (see attached photo). Thats no big deal, but Ive made repeated efforts to contact them by phone and email to fix what theyve done and they refuse to respond. I expect more for $8,000.Update: November 8, 2024. A tech was sent to correct the piping. All is good now.
Huge shout out to Sergio,Yesenia and Especially George for his big heart. Thanks to them I’m no longer sweating in this Texas heat. My unit went out and after having several repairs done to it by other companies doing guess work. Sergio came in spotted the problem and helped me get a completely new unit. I really thank God for working through him and his Company to make my home comfortable again. Thanks again Sergio, Yesenia and George.

Been waiting for a call from a manager for multiple weeks, after multiple attempts to contact them myself. Left messages with a representative twice, and filled out a “contact us” form on-line twice. This company is a sham. They act fast, but take so much money and answer NO questions. Upon service man arrival, he told me my warranty was expired in August 2025, but for some reason, my parts wouldn’t be covered. Then he told me the price (seemed like he pulled number out of thin air) but if I paid cash, I would save a CONSIDERABLE amount. Told him I didn’t have cash, he went outside and proceeded to find 2 more things that needed replaced in order for it to function as it should. This is all after I was told the issues wouldn’t be fixed by my warranty, my warranty that’s supposed to fix everything for 10 years. I also purchased a “tune up” package for $300 which also includes some cleaning and functioning check up, but he failed to clean the machine or make any further checks. He went back outside and worked for 10 minutes before leaving without saying a word. I called the office to speak with a manager about the shadiness of the service repair driver and have got nothing in response. Was told the manager would contact me in 24 hours, and there was no response. I have made multiple attempts myself to contact a manager and have received nothing in return. This company is terrible and takes advantage of those needing immediate response. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

OMG ! How do you trust a company that allows its drivers and associates to operate their company vehicle so recklessly. I-10 in converse driver was going 97MPH tailgating and flashing lights for cars to move . With no regard . I had an outstanding experience with Royal Air Texas! Sam, the inspector, provided thorough details and honest insights into the AC work. His knowledge and transparency about different units were impressive. I called him today in the morning about proceeding with the job at hand and he had his team here within an hour! Installers, Herson and Javier, were exceptional, completing the job in a day. They took care to answer questions, used floor covers, and maintained a respectful attitude. Their attention to detail, cleanliness, and professionalism exceeded my expectations. The price for the project was reasonable unlike other companies I reached out to and the work they did was excellent. Ill definitely reach out to them again—truly a stellar experience!

Doug came out today from Houston to try to help. He did! He got the water removed from the drain pan and even had to deal with our defective attic access ladder. He was not able to repair the cause of the water draining through the ceiling and into our livingroom. He was able to confirm the original install was done improperly and did not allow the water to drain correctly. He advised he would notify his supervisor that the installers will need to come back out and corret the problem. Doug was extremely nice and was apologetic for the problem. He assured us Carrier would take care of the condition that has existed since April 2024 when the system was installed. Thank you Doug for coming out on a Sunday evening!
Robb was beyond helpful, he was extremely nice and he took initiative from the start. I respect the fact he was so consoling of our situation and he took as long as he needed to get things done for us! Came back early in the morning to continue the battle of getting it done! Bryon was our sales guy and he was the second company I looked into. What sold me was the fact they could come out the same day. We had been without AC for two days no other company could come same day. The installers were professional and worked into the night and got my AC going strong with all new Carrier equipment. The installers cleaned up after them selves and were very efficient and effective.
If I could give more stars I would.Renae was excellent with presentation and very knowledgeable about the product. She just dint come to sell me a unit she really had me and my familys budget in mind. She was really great and I would recommend her as a comfort advisor if you need ac and heating. At first it was good. However upon completion they left a hole in the ceiling after they removed the furnace and said the job was done. The following day it rained. And water started coming into my house. Now 4 days ago i messaged them stating how when we cut our heat the breaker box trips out, so we were unable to use our hvac system. (Everything a month old. Unit, furnace, and duct work) when i messaged them. My rep responded “on it”. I messaged him the following day. He stated someone should be calling to schedule a time frame. No one ever called me. The following day i reached out again. I let him know no-one reached out to me. And that they have been having us sit in the cold for multiple days. I told them if i need an attorney i will get one. Within 5 minutes their manager called and i let him know the issue. He stated no-one even told him about the issue. He stated i can get someone out to you tomorrow. I let him know that I reached out days prior. And that someone needs to fix my stuff that day. Especially during winter seasons. He told me he would call me back. He changed the schedule to make us a priority stop. The tech they sent out was looking at the breakers. And stated they never put the right breaker in. The tech went and got the stuff he needed yo swap my breakers for the correct one.When he pulled the old breaker it started to burn and melt.Due to these guys not doing the job correctly the first time (cause $17,000 is small money right?) our house was put in jeopardy. We own an older house. Luckily my breakbox does as needed and killed power or today i would be homeless due to a potential house fire.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. WHAT A JOKE

We had a new unit installed in 2022. During the most recent cold spell, the heater on the unit stopped working. I scheduled another company to come out to repair it and learned not only was it done incorrectly, but it was also never installed to code. I called the City of San Antonio and realized they did not get a required permit (it makes you wonder if they knew it would have never passed inspection because they had zero intention of installing it to code). The original installers spliced a dryer cable, taped it up with electrical tape, connected it to the unit, and plugged it into the wall. The electrical system had no emergency shut-off, and the basic electrical safety circuit had to be renovated. No emergency drain shut-off was installed, and it had to be renovated. There were burn marks on my wall where it was sparking and could have started a house fire right between my childrens bedrooms. I kept the cable and the pictures taken before proper repairs and renovations (and, of course, the after photos made by a professional installer for comparison). We have made MULTIPLE attempts to contact the company, but their gatekeeper refuses to transfer and claims she will give them a message to call back, yet we have not received any response or resolution. We now plan to contact the proper legal channels.1/27/2025 (Update): We finally spoke to someone. She stated it would be $195 for them to come and check what the other company fixed. Maam, it just cost me $1600 to repair what the original installers did incorrectly, so why would I pay an additional $195 for you to check THEIR work? When we asked to speak to a supervisor, she proceeded to pretend she could no longer hear us and hung up.
If there was a person who embodies a great salesman, it’s this guy Robb. He cares enough to truly care about the home and not just the deal. In a world of people trying to only make a buck it’s extremely hard to find one who wants to make sure everyone is happy and this guy is legit. 10/10 stars

This review is not for the company but for their employee, Luis that came out to do our semi-yearly maintenance on our new unit that was installed six months ago in June. He was very professional and courteous, super friendly and knowledgeable. On the same morning that he came to do maintenance our AC had stopped working and he did everything he could to help diagnose the issue and document what was installed incorrectly. The AC coils were frozen so we have to wait for the coils to unfreeze and the company to send sometime back out to diagnose and fix the unit.
I had Luis Hernandez come to my property and he was a great technician who was well trained in his craft. We went over the initial details of my heater problem and quickly identified the source of the issue. After fixing the issue swiftly he returned everything back to the original condition it was in. Great work Louis I wish you well on your future calls. 10/10, my heater works again.
A few days late but this young man man good on his word so I’ll do my part. Robb is a one of a kind type of salesman , honest yet tactful. And as a former salesman myself, I can respect it. He got my father a new system at a pretty remarkable rate, and has kept in touch these last few weeks to make sure everything is up to par, glad to have gotten the chance to work with him
This company came out to replace an entire a/c unit for us. They left and that night water was dripping from the ceilings and through the intake. Video included here. We called them and they insisted it was a plumbing problem. Plumber came out and said there is nothing wrong with plumbing. Royal Air has refused to let us talk to a manager or supervisor. We have ring camera footage of the 3 guys that came out drinking the beer in the driveway because our family member l is unable quickly move about to keep an eye on the people who came and took advantage of her! BEWARE of this company!!!
I had a couple of Air conditioning companies come and give us quotes and they were outrageous! Chad from Royal Air Houston came today. Me and my husband were very pleased with his professionalism! He was knowledgeable and made the process so easy! We are getting our new unit installed tomorrow ! Wow that’s what I call good customer service.

Sam took a look at my existing AC system. He knew that everything was an excellent condition and everything was working properly Only reason I wanted to upgrade my AC units. There was two reasons one I wanted sufficient AC for electrical and two I wanted something was very quiet electrical bill this month was $300 more than before and the units are so loud that I have not slept well over two weeks now they’re very loud And not only that the guys came to install my AC system. They did not remove their shoes or cover their shoes or put sheets on my floor. They damage my whole floor walls windows light switches. The service for installation was horrible service front Royal air conditioner service is horrible, I got damage floor in my house and from the day when I called back and complain about the guys who install the AC and they have a cost so much damage in my house and also my driveway with the sealer and they never responded to me back I called back again. Gustavo answer the phone and the owner, Sam’s brother, grab the phone Gustavo how do you start a trading me, ask me if I knew who I was talking to like he was really going to hurt me or kill me on top of that they have not returned to take care of their issues. This company is a fraud. Just the people are crook I want everybody to be very careful.And also put old filter back and left door open to filterA/c units are so loud I have more pictures but I can’t post all of them

Updated: The installation was so quick and easy and my moms house is below 79° inside for the first time in 2 years (during non-winter months in Texas). Shes extremely happy and so am I. Thank you, Royal Air for being so great to work with!Alex was an amazing tech. My elderly mom has a hard time understanding things and he made the entire process easy to understand to get her AC unit replaced. He and Royal Air have been great through the entire process! If this was Yelp I would say 10/10 would recommend.

I ordered a unit from Mr.Rod Medina and the company he worked for at royal air last week, The moment he walked in and talked to us the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and he was friendly and very attentive, making his visit a true pleasure and I was also amazed at how quickly it arrived. The installment was secure, and ensuring making my decision well worth it. The customer service was exceptional, with Rod as he kept me updated throughout the entire process. Update:They came today to fix their mistake. Still hot in the house. Went and looked, insulation still not installed properly. Roof is cut and not fixed, so they are cooling the attic instead of the actual house. Bathroom with no vent is cooler than the rest of the house.Installed a unit in my mothers house. Was wondering why half the house was over 80 degrees and the other half cold. And mold growing in our bathroom. Well no wonder, they didnt install the insulation around the unit correctly. Also, unit sounds like its 20 yrs old, its so loud we can hear when it kicks on outside all the way in the living room. Was installed last year. Still under warranty, but want $195 service call to come look at their mistakes.
We had a wonderful visit with Jerry who was very knowledgeable on what are home needed for an ac unit. He took the time to listen to our needs and offer suggestions. We really appreciated the time he spent with us.
Doug contacted us 30 min prior to arriving and appeared promptly as arranged. He immediately diagnosed the problem and got our air conditioning up and running! Keith Walker spent a lot of phone time, working with both my wife and I to close on two A/C units.The three installers worked long and hard for many hours until completion. They did a very thorough outstanding job. I would not hesitate to recommend their work ethic and skills.
Same day install workers were very clean, efficient and professional. My house has been without heat and they came to the rescue. I have a home warranty company that I pay for and they are completely worthless. These guys came in and didn’t leave until everything was perfect.
Baker arrived prior to our start time which was excellent. To be early is to be on time in my book. Baker is extremely knowledgeable of his work. He informed me of everything I needed to know up front, especially the finance portion. He was patient with reviewing the work to be completed as well as the financing. If you are in the market for a new AC unit, Baker is the one to call.
Had a brand new unit installed it has gone out twice within less than 3 weeks. This time it has stopped working for 2 days getting help on the phone has been nothing short of extremely difficult. Fastest they can get someone out Is the end of the week. Finance a unit and duct work for an extreme amount for it to stop working within 2 weeks. Stay on hold over 30 minutes to be told its going to be the end of the week. Update 9-13-2024 it is less than 6 months after our install the unit has stopped working almost once a month and the areas the install crew worked and then put a cover for the hole on has now come off leaving our attic exposed. I have been on hold for over 20 minutes and the brief time a spoke to a woman to give my address I had to hear her music in the background. She said we are scheduled for monday the 9-16-24 Unprofessional at its best
Extremely Disappointed – Heater Not Working during snow storm.We spent thousands of dollars to install a new unit, expecting quality and reliability. Unfortunately, the heater is already not working, and it’s snowing tonight. To make matters worse, we have little kids in the house, and the company told me they couldn’t promise to put us on their urgent list. This is unacceptable, especially considering the health and safety of our family in freezing temperatures. After such a large investment, we expected much better service and responsiveness. Extremely disappointed.

BEWARE: Check Yelp reviews and the BBB !!! These people sold me a lemon. They’ve been to repair this unit more than 8 times in the last year. They denied me a new unit and once again it has stopped working. Now they want me to pay $195 diagnostic service fee!!!! You can’t ever talk to any manager or owner, ever. I regret doing business with this Royal Air of Houston. They take advantage of old people that are women. Be sure you have a man , they won’t mess with a man. ☹️🥲

Curtis has done a great job of taking care of issues we’ve been having with our new a/c and thermostat. He’s been on time, and explained what the issues are and made repairs as needed.I am pleased with my experiences with Royal Air. Our sales person, Rudy, was knowledgeable, friendly and provided the info necessary to move forward with the purchase of a new system. The installers were great, working late into the night. After install, I had a couple of issues that were handled promptly by the installers (with assistance from Rudy). I hope Royal Air will continue to provide excellent customer service.

DONT DO IT!!! I spent $15,000 on a new A/C system. I explained to the installers that I needed them to teach me about the air filter and what I have to do to keep my A/C running correctly. The installer told me I did not have to worry they would take care of all the maintenance for me. It was part of the package I purchased. When they came to install the A/C I explained that the drain was part of the problem from my from the system I had before so please make sure it is done right. They did not listen. A water leak started to form because they did not do the drain properly. It made mold in the walls and broke my washer and dryer. They said the warranty I purchased would cover the repairs. No one has come to repair the damage and I had to buy a new W/D. Now. 8 months later. They have not come to fix damages from the water leak. And, they have not come to do the promised maintenance. I still dont know how to care for my A/C and now I have to find a way and the money to fix the damage from the water leak. No matter how much I said that I already had these problem previously they did not listen. I told them 3 times tell me the size of the filter. Please teach me how to care for my new system I was told over and over that they would do it for me because of all the money I had spent on the system. As a single person with not one else to lean on I feel very taken advantage of. I was desperate for a new a/c system as mine was very old. BUYER BEWARE!!!

RESPONSETO THE COMPANIES POST: This further shows how disorganized the company is, they looked up the wrong account. My name is not Johnson its LaRue and my instalation was done in September of 2024. I also refused to sign when the technician came out because I was dissatisfied with the whole situation.I am beyond disappointed with my experience with this company, and I feel compelled to warn others. Back in September, I contacted them to fix my AC. Instead of repairing the unit, they convinced me to replace it entirely, claiming my system was too small for my home. They sold me on a better, more energy-efficient unit with financing. What they didnt tell me was that they signed me up for a credit card I never received, maxed it out, and tanked my credit score--without my knowledge or consent.Fast forward four months, and the entire unit breaks down. I called on a Saturday for repairs, as its still under warranty. No response. I scheduled online for Monday, only to be told they couldnt come until Tuesday, despite a looming winter storm. Tuesday comes, and they cancel due to the storm, leaving us without heat during the coldest week of the year. When they finally sent a technician on Thursday--two and a half hours late--he spent 10 minutes looking at the system and quoted me an additional $1,200 for electrical work. The kicker? He admitted the unit was improperly installed and didnt fit my house. He also revealed their salespeople are incentivized to upsell with no regard for functionality, leaving technicians to clean up the mess later.When I contacted the office, I was met with shocking incompetence. I was told no one could help me, supervisors had quit, and there was no one managing technical issues. Their representative even admitted, I dont know when I asked how to escalate my concerns. Despite spending thousands of dollars, I was left with a broken system and told my only option was to pay an additional $1,200 for their mistake.This companys practices are deceptive and predatory. Their lack of accountability and disregard for customer service is appalling. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. Check their Better Business Bureau F rating--it speaks volumes. Their positive reviews on Google must be purchased because they have nothing but negative reviews on all other platforms.
I was a little skeptical at first with all the scams and schemes going on in today’s world but when I met with Luke, his friendly demeanor and overall great customer service skills and knowledge lead me to feel more comfortable with him and this company overall. I just feel that I have received a blessing overall.

Fantastic Technician he is. Marlo came out to service my AC unit . He washed down my condenser checked all my components. Everything checked out good. He educated me on how to run my unit during the hottest peaks of the season. He was very professional excellent service.
This company is terrible. We had them come out and install a system. They put the intake of the unit toward our dryer so they had to come out and change the direction for the unit in our washroom. When they left they left a hole in the floor. Then when winter came the heater wouldn’t work so they came out and changed the wiring that they didn’t install with the right amp for the unit. Now we are still having the same problem this winter. The wiring is tripping. I had someone come out to look at it and this other company said it’s because the amp on the wire from the unit to the electrical box still isn’t right that’s why it’s tripping the breaker. This company said it’s a type of problem that because the wire is not the right amp that over time it’ll trip more and more. I called the company told them that the same wire they fixed before is still not right they said I would have to pay for them to fix their problem. They do not know what they are doing and also do not have integrity enough to fix their problems correctly. I would never go with them again. Our unit is 2 years old and isn’t working.
Doug came out and checked our issue. He was able to figure out what it was perfectly explained. He is looking into how to solve our issue as it’s not a normal one. He was here sooner than expected which was good as well.
Great service from Joshua the tec. He explained everything he also showed us an air filter in attic we were never shown. Not happy with royal air as company. Joshua stated no dampers were installed I spent $40000 to have total ac installed and this was not discussed. Now a room in my home has no air flow and will be additional $1850 for part plus installation this is not right too much money I feel when I was told this was a total ac install it included all parts. Again Joshua did great wish the company followed suit

The Technicians thorough diagnostic was great.My husband and I are not pleased with the fact that our warranty was cxld. System was installed in 2022. He was never contacted in 2023 to schedule free warranty and 2024 is not over. Also there was no filter. Tech said filters are not installed with unit. We were not told that when system was installed.

I recently contacted Royal Air to replace my a/c and furnace. They showed up the next day and installed. First they sent non english speaking people to do the work and so workmanship was mediocre at best. 1st-they installed plumbing for furnace in front of filter access door for which they did not provide a filter. 2nd-they put the a/c unit on pad which was tilted into house. I had to tell them to level and so they just stuffed a couple of 2x4s under back side so now entire pad is in the air. 3rd-they took the furnace door and framing off to install furnace and have not returned to repair yet. It has been a week now. 4th-I have contacted them every day and was told someone was on their way for a no show! I am currently waiting again. 5th -I have been on the phone trying to call them and they havent answered in the past 2 hrs. So much for their customer service!! Would NOT recommend them!!!!

False advertisement, Poor management of time, Multiple credit inquiries, Lies and deceit. These are the only things I would use to Explain my experience. This company says $39.00 dollars down no credit check required. And all of this was false. I was very open and upfront with my expectations and gave this company a chance to come out and they still failed to show up twice and the third time they actually show up And I get told the product I’m looking for they don’t sell even though that they advertise it so much false expectations portrayed by this company I would avoid them like a plague.
