It is idyllic and wonderful! I am so happy with this environment and community of delightful monthly events and get-tilogethers where everyone has a voice and that voice can be heard and offered feedback and solutions that the whole organization can implement if applicable.When I said idyllic I was referring to the cat colony that is a staple here ensuring that all rats and snakes that the cemetery located behind this New hope Housig and the Bayou and its elements would surely offer up were it not for these little felines protecting all from that type of threat. I am glad to have them here and others get a great relief if you are like me and alone here in the city .so even though I do not have nearby family I have my cats and my best friend to offer support and it is seemingly a lonely life I find that living here I have a community where I can feel safe and acknowledge as a fellow resident and member of a community where all are working to better ourselves share a laugh and keep an eye out for each other and live well feel well and be well.

If youre looking for a place to stay I would recommend a different place because this place is straight up disgusting and dirty they got cat crap everywhere and no one wants to clean it up the management is horrible and whenever you would need something fixed they would never fix it we got people knocking on peoples door during the middle of the night its ridiculous so if youre looking for a place to stay I recommend you go find somewhere else that has a low income then they got people trying to threatened other people like you cant talk about your problems like a normal adults do and I would say not every morning but some mornings theres a dude always yelling for no reason

Management doesn’t tend to complaints been here 3yrs my neighbor wakes me up with his music. It’s a nice place to live but full of bums that beg for money.Maintenance is decent took a wk for them to do a 5min job.Management needs to do better but I like it here.

Im the daughter of a resident who lives here and who visits her almost every day! I would love to give a special shout-out to the staff who puts up with me and my deliveries I make to my mom almost daily. Theyre very understanding, polite, and even remember me! I also want to give a shout-out to maintaince they keep the grounds so beautiful! (Theres never any litter or trash anywhere !) The only downside is the graveyard next door ! Its a bit depressing, but its also beautiful, respected, and well maintained. Its a reminder to humble you every time I visit. The facility is well protected, and Im happy my mom feels safe. Amazing management, and its a beautiful building overall. There are a lot of cats that call this place home; theyre not a bother to me. I enjoy their presence. They need to spayed and neutered to prevent more babies !

My wife stayed here one residence their steady harasser the staff knew that I was her husband but because of a lost I didnt they refused to let me see her

Helping hand in time of need. I am learning to accept certain house rules. Clean apartment and priced according to your income. Goodwill dropping food every week helps.Discovered a down side . Upstairs Tenant was placed here with Mental health problems . Making noise and scuffing , dragging, dropping boxes etc all evening into midnite . I complained to him ,management with no resolve.Management has no ability to deal with him. They speak to his handler caseworker he temporarily stops but than starts up all over again. It appears that no one can make him change his behavior.My only solution is to move!

People can say how clean this place is but I walk past it almost every evening. Hypodermic needles, trash, bums everywhere demanding money! The ho motel that was there before wasn’t any better but I hoped for better when this place opened. Instead, local residents have to run a gauntlet of beggars that get angry when you say “NO!”

If youre single...its a great place to live on a budget! The Brays Crossing community also has a helpful staff armed with resources to help you navigate through a tight budget which has been very helpful for me and my poor money handling habits.As of February 1st, 2018 , marks a seven (7) year stay here a Brays Crossing Apartments which is a subsidy of New Hope Housing. Thanks to the helpful staff here, I still have a roof over my head and a place to call home.

Good housing facility for those with disabilities or low income. Very secure but the apts. are rather small.

I lived here in 2010. Wished I had a connection with God. Still wish I had a connection with God.

This place is the best I have seen ,they help my client a lot . He is happy there its awesome 💙💚
