They had the annual Christmas party. The decorations were beautiful, the food was great, and the activities were fun. A very special, happy occasion.

The stairs smell really bad, is like Im in a dirty restroom. I seen diapers and trash everywhere in the stair, black stains on the stairs that it wasnt washed for years. I called this prison apartment.

Roach infested horrible apartments n too much going on for 1 it be Car break ins. Horrible management, it’s a blessing if you have moved out i hate it here n the office management is awful. New property manager every 6 mnths but at-least Star is gone though so that’s “GREAT”! Just don’t move here they don’t fix things in your apartment on purpose so you fail inspection n you see homeless people sleeping in the grass by bus stop you can’t escape the ghetto mess over here it’s sad, don’t move here or somebody will break in your car i called police and filed charges last month. moving out this month just don’t move here

Moved in last year apartment was broken into the girl in the front with the little girl & boy was breaking into my apartment.car broken into.multuple times the kids are bad woman are extremely jealous & insecure .Im so glad I moved best decision ever I was stalked and stalked all year.They need to upgrade there cameras.They hate to see you doing better than them I wouldnt raise a dog in there

I’ve been here since the very beginning of this place some staff are very helpful like Ms Wanda from star of hope or Ms Dee assistant manager but the rest of them are disrespectful . Since I’ve been here we have had 8 different managers and several disrespectful security guards they are overly aggressive they don’t do their job. My car has been broken into stuff has been stolen off my doorstep. They come in your house when you’re not there so I have had to get cameras for my house. The apartment are good for what it’s for and by that I mean get off the streets or if you just need your housing and to Stack your money but that’s it that’s all stay to yourself and if the police need to be called, you have to make it sound bad if not they WILL NOT COME keep your kids in the house or take them to Pearland park because the kids are bad !!!!! I’m not trying to be disrespectful or trying to discourage you from coming here. I’m just giving you an honest review

I moved into these apts right after they were built in Sept 2018. It was a beautiful complex then and spotless. It didnt take long for tenants to destroy most of the landscaping, the locks on the gates, people just dump their garbage bags in hallways or in the grass outside the building, pretty much anywhere except the dumpster. Its July 2024 now and the management doesnt handle her position very well. Ive been assaulted by a neighbor because she thinks I called CPS on her. I didnt make that call but she sure gave me good reason to call them on her after she assaulted me. Her drug dealer bf lives directly above me and for the past 4 to 5 weeks his TV and stereo have been turned up to the max and hes been out of town. Ive complained numerous times and asked the neighbor via text to turn it down and nothing has been done about it. Its so loud I cant hear my TV over it, I cant sleep, giving me migraines, stressing out my cat too. I had to do jury duty last week and I barely got any sleep then and still now. I dont think it is fair that I have to endure this noise disturbance 24/7. Its clearly states in the lease that noise must be turned down after 10pm, but this man seems to be getting some favoritism from the management. Im not sure if I want to pay this months rent if I cant get any peace and quiet in my own home. Ive never been a problem tenant and I rarely ask for help from the office. Now that I have I see it doesnt do any good. This is ridiculous.

I’m not gonna lie these apartments are not the same like how it use to be. There is always a new property manager every 2 months. Everybody that worked here when it first opened left..these apartments are roach infested. I wuldnt move here. These apartments are depressing. It’s called New hope housing but will leave you hopeless n have poor management I’m definitely leaving soon once approved for relocation Dirty apartments stairs elevators n even the kids here stop going to the buckner center . don’t move here youll regret it

Stay to yourself and this is an amazing place to live and save money for future goals. It is not a forever home even though it is easy to get complacent with all of the resources available here. Trash is everywhere around the dumpsters when they are empty. The kids and parents dont clean up after themselves. When my kids needed a home it was a saver and so I am grateful for this place!! USE ALL SERVICES AND PROGRAMS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE!!

Living at New Hope has changed my life tremendously! I love our community, and all the things it offers. They are partnered with Buckner Family Hope Center right across the way, which is very helpful as well. This is a place to finally get a leg up, and focus on bettering yourself for the sake of your family. Thank you sooo much to the faculty and staff of New Hope! We just enjoyed an AMAZING Thanksgiving thanks to our community and the blessing they pour out to the tenants!

This is a housing program that allows you to pay little over a period of time so you can save up to meet your future needs

This is a GREAT program I think they should screen the tenants better. The way the tenants leave trash and food around the area is RIDICULOUS..The complex should be neat and clean.I am sure the people who have to clean behind these grown people shakes their daily. This is a SHAME.This is a blessing for folks to live there you should treat it as such.Just sad.

The inside of the apartments were nice. However, there was ,trash on the ground, around both dumpsters. The dumpsters were empty so Im not sure why the residents didnt put their trash in the dumpster instead of on the ground.

The Star of Hope is a beautiful place established to help all who are in need, i.e food, shelter, clothing. I am blessed to be here. Praying for my housing to come through.

Awesome management and really good maintenance team. Stay on them and youll get your issues addressed to your satisfaction.

I like the place but they are very unprofessional and someone tried to steal my things like again lol.

Are yall a low income apartment?How long is the waiting list?What do I need to apply ?Will yall have a 2 bedrooms coming up in January of 2023 ?

Ive lived here once in my life but it was on Ardmore thinking back it was a great place with plenty of programs if you work on it

Does this place help with getting housing ? I currently have a newborn and have no income as of now.

As a suggestion i think the people that is getting help in this amazing project should volunteer to keep it clean.

This community is one you really have to come see for yourself.... Yea it houses slot of families that have been through difficult situations but the elevators are almost always broken which is inconvenient for those on the higher floors. Trash is always around but other than that the kids are very active around here so it seves it purpose I guess.
