My experience with Melissa was nothing short of exceptional! Melissa and her team made me feel as comfortable as possible through the process of purchasing my first home. I would give 5 Star rating to Henry and Lock it Lending as they provided me the best rates and lowest closing costs. To put it in perspective the seller/builder was offering 2% credit towards closing cost if i go with seller lender. Henry (Lock It Lending) was able to beat their rate and closing cost even without getting the 2% seller credit. Henry is very professional and very transparent with every single detail and explains you all cost breakdown very clearly. I will use Lock it Lending for all my future loans.

Good rate and low fees compared to other brokers and lenders I talked to. Everyone from Lock It was helpful. They guided me throughout the process from pre-approval to closing.Jade, the loan processor, was very knowledgeable, patient, and willing to work and talk to me after hours. She followed up with different people to make sure my closing document has all the info needed. She also helped me find ways to reduce my costs and utilize my credit.I felt like I have learned a lot about the loan process as a first time home buyer after working with Lock It.

Melissa (loan advisor) and Shanatay (loan processor) had been super helpful throughout the process. From the beginning, Melissa and her team was very professional and went above and beyond in my opinion.At the beginning of the pre-approval application process, she did a soft pull of my and my husband’s credit in order to get us the pre-approval letters. The other mortgage company did a hard credit pull instead. It makes a difference because during the closing, they had to do a hard credit pull again and each hard credit pull will deduct points from our credit score (and could potentially affect our interest rates). The fact that they only did a soft pull for the pre-approval, that only resulted in one credit score deduction throughout the process rather than 2.Melissa also recommended us that the mortgage can just be on my husband since his income alone is enough for the mortgage. This way, it would free mine up to do some other financing in the future if we want to buy a car or other things etc. The other mortgage company didn’t suggested this option at all. For me, I would have never thought about it if it weren’t for Melissa.To me, she has always kept her client in mind and think what’s best for them. Most other company would just apply their routine process without putting too much thoughts into it, and without thinking on their client’s behalf.During the closing process, there wasn’t a whole lot of communication after we submitted our documentations like pay stub and bank statements, but Melissa always kept us informed on the important items. We also let our loan processor Shanatay know that we would like more communications and she jumped in right away and provides updates for us every step until closing and gave us peace of mind.I had a very good experience and would definitely use Lock It Lending again especially with Melissa and Shanatay.

I ask loan processing team if my rate for my loan will be locked many weeks ago and they never return my call..when I called recently I was told that the agent no longer works there and management has a hard time hiring and keeping employees. I ask to speak with a manager and I was told that Emily will be calling me soon..a week later and nothing…very shady place..the reply to this message is a joke and now I am called a liar or I may just be confused on the name...apparently this company has issues with customers reporting a problem and letting other potential customers know how terrible this company offers…one more thing about this company..I only see Asians giving good reviews..no Latinos..very shady if you ask me
