I went with Blink Lending and their representative Oscar Guzman for a SF Hard Money loan after meeting him at EXPO in 2023. Oscar asked for and wanted my business. He followed up with me and stayed in touch. When I was ready to do a loan, I called him and he jumped right on the opportunity to earn my business. I initiated a refinance with Ravi Kaku at Blink Lending on 6/14.I found the Blink Lending experience to be efficient and easy to understand. Their online application makes the initial process a breeze to complete and is very transparent. Their process even automates obtaining financial information from your bank required for underwriting which greatly speeds up the process.Ravi is a very responsive loan officer and true to the Blink website promise, you get your loan officer’s cell phone number. This meant we could be (and were!) in communication every day, sometimes multiple times a day given my complicated situation. His emails were clear and he provided multiple methods of sending him the requested information. He never once misplaced a document.

As a result, the rate lock and underwriting for my loan were complete by 6/16 including having obtained the current loan’s title information. 2020 has been a crazy year! I was temporarily impacted by furloughs at the beginning of the year and we were looking for any way to reduce our expenditures. We waited until our jobs and income leveled out and by November we were in a position to refinance our mortgage. We started with our current lender, who never even bothered to return our request for refinance. We quickly moved to Rocket Mortgage, Wells Fargo, our local credit union - all of which told us that we would be looking at 60-90 days MINIMUM to refinance. It was at that point that I called Gabe. From our first conversation I was hesitant but the process was so simple! Gabe was always helpful and available to answer any of our questions - and I had a lot! He was patient, he was informative, and he communicated next steps throughout the process. Our goal was to close by end of year in order to take advantage of tax incentives, save money long term, and hold on to a few extra bucks during the holiday season. Hey guys! where do I start??? Rick called me after a was watching a FB LIVE Blink was doing and I had made a comment. At the time, I was trying to relate to lenders and wanted fast response for a deal I had been after.
