She embodies what good customer service is!Interlinc Mortgage helped us after we kept getting nothing done with US Bank. We had been pre-approved, yet the dragging of the feet, the constant re-submission of paperwork, and the lack of communication made it impossible for us to get our mortgage done with US Bank.As soon as we found Interlinc Mortgage, our home was closed on in less than 6 weeks!They also have knowledge of what programs are available in your state, (Ours is TX), and saved us a massive amount of money that US Bank never even knew about.We now have our dream. We are not a fancy couple. We wanted land and a home. We now have just that. We were not pressured in any way. We told them what we could afford and were treated as if we were millionaires. We felt as if we were their number 1 priority. Yes, if I were to ever need another mortgage, I would use Interlinc again.

Wes and his team at Interlinc Mortgage were amazing and guided us through the process with ease, despite some challenges outside of our control, and we made it to the closing table with no problems! They answered all our questions and gave us excellent advice. If you want a team that will support you and have your back during the mortgage process, get with them! You will not be disappointed!

I worked with Interlinc on a new home construction in 2022-2023, and the process was a complete nightmare. Multiple things came together to cause the process to end so badly. First being a new home build with a small company who did not finish the build on time – depending on the definition of “finish”. Second, the mortgage rates were going haywire; roughly doubling in 2022.In the midst of that, what I saw from Interlinc was a complete lack of transparency, changing the rules mid-stream, and in the end doing absolutely nothing to try to improve a bad situation.Lack of transparency:1) It was not initially clear to me that the “locked-in” interest rate could be lost if the build were not completed on time, nor were the loan documents clear enough on this point. Case in point, a mortgage attorney read the document and called me to ask: “where is the section that describes what happens if the build isn’t finished on time?”2) I periodically expressed concerns with not meeting the completion date and asked for clarification of what constitutes “finished.” I never received an answer to that question. Ultimately the build was deemed not finished enough because the dishwasher wasn’t installed (not a joke).3) One loan officer said the build agreement could have been amended had the builder advised them that it would not be installed on time. This wasn’t mentioned to me despite my expressed concerns because, “it’s common for the borrower to express this concern only to have the builder ultimately meet the due date.”4) Leading up to the construction completion date, many calls and emails went unanswered. My honest opinion is that they were trying to run the clock out on my loan because of the changing housing market.Changing the rules mid-stream:While the ramifications of not completing the build on time were unclear in the loan document, one section that was clear provided an option to extend the build period by 90 days; even allowing multiple extensions. Despite this, Interlinc offered only a single 60-day extension. I later found out this was because their investors were not comfortable with the direction of the housing market and wanted out.In my opinion, the combination of 1) the loan document not clearly stating the possible negative outcome of missing the build date, 2) the loan document very clearly providing a mechanism to extending the build date, and 3) using the wiggle room provided by the ambiguity to follow whatever path they or the investors desire, irrespective of the needs of the borrower, constitutes a very real truth-in-lending issue for Interlinc.No effort to alleviate the situation:1) After the construction was completed, a loan officer called me to discuss the path forward. We didn’t finish, so I was told that I would receive a follow-up call the next day. That call never came; instead the next communication I had with Interlinc was a Notice of Default letter in the mail.2) The next person I spoke to explained that my options at that point were to either convert the loan to a final mortgage with Interlinc at a rate of ~7.6% or to refinance with another lender. 7.6% would have been 3% higher than the original rate-locked value and also close to 1% above the market rate at that point in time.3) The wrong loan payoff amount was provided to the new lender, forcing a reversal of the closure, updating paperwork, and re-closing. Clearly Interlinc was done devoting any sort of effort to my case and was not paying attention; at least until it appeared it would cost them money.Given all of the things listed above and more, the best I can say about Interlinc Mortgage is that they didn’t have the borrower’s best interest in mind, making a tricky situation ten times worse. The worst I could say is that they did not behave as a good-faith lender and potentially violated a signed contract for fear of a housing market downturn.If that’s the sort of lender you’d like to work with, then look no farther, Interlinc is ready to serve you. Otherwise, I’d suggest you look elsewhere. As-in anywhere else.

Everything went smoothly, couldnt really ask for any more. It was our first home purchase so we really dont have any other reference, but considering there werent any issues, everything happend as we could have expected, and the team was always able to answer any questions, we dont know how it could have been any better. If we buy again in this part of Texas Interlink will be our go-to, and we would recommend them to anyone we know that needs a lending team to work with.

Being a first time home buyer in the early 2022 seller’s market was challenging but Brian’s team really made it less stressful than it could have been. Thanks to Brian and his amazing team. And Joe who let me talk his ears off with questions and he educated me a lot throughout the whole journey. Anytime I have a question, they were extremly responsive. I would highly recommend Brian’s team at InterLinc. I will definitely reach out to them next time I buy another property.

I wish the loan originator would have been in contact a little more with the agent. I had no update unless I spoke with my clients. But the job was done.

As a first time homebuyer, the loan process can be terrifying. But with the help of John, Angela, and De, the process was smooth and professional. They updated me on every turn and made sure to get every ounce of information needed for my loan. I am great full for the experience. 10/10

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend. They literally dropped us cold with no follow up and/or explanation. I have good credit and a good mortgage history, but the appraisal didnt come in as high. My husband and I called Lida, the loan originator, several times to discuss options, but she never returned our calls. It would have been nice to get a call back even if just to say Im sorry it didnt work out the way we had planned and maybe brain storm some alternatives for now or in the future. I wont be using them or recommending them to anyone.

As a newcomer in applying for a loan , the people at Interlinc helped me patiently and so kindly through the process of it all every step of the way. Quick feedback via calls or emails and I felt very supported. I received great advice and a good interest rate. The Interlinc app where I uploaded my documents was so efficient and easy to use. I can really recommend Interlinc mortgage.

We could load all of our docs into the online portal which made things easy. Stacy did a great job. I would use them again.

Once you leave as a customer, they do not care. They dont return emails or phone calls. I was reported late after having paid off my loan. Have made several attempts to reach out to Alyssa Ngujen and Jason Baker to resolve the issue, no response nor the issue has been resolved. What happen to doing the right thing?

Not going to call out the specific VP or branch this VP works for. But this is one of the reasons I didn’t choose this company for my lending.They were the preferred lender from my builder, and I had every intention to give them the business. But also when purchasing a house, you need to make sure you shop your lenders. When I decided on another company because I trusted them more (setup buyer consultation, talked about the fee structures, and helped assist in other things). Interlinc mortgage never offered that, they expected me to sign off without asking any questions. When I asked questions, they deflected them or never answered them for me.

David Rodriguez and his team were awesone! They walked us through every step of the way. I could call or email and have a answer at a moments notice. They help us get every grant and extra incentive available. We closed on time and even reciever a check for 1,600 back because of the grant and seller contribution was more then the closing cost. We will definitely be referring everyone we know to him.

I would give this company 0 stars actually. They were discriminatory against my friend, a retired teacher with TWO pensions and a working husband, because she is 62 and was the only person on the loan. She has great credit, and provided them with a mountain of paperwork. They dragged the process out for SIX MONTHS!!! They finally closed today after they hassled her about a $7.00 charge the bank made on her account and she had already paid it! N They were trying to make her give up! Stay away from this company!!! Horrible experience!!

I started the loan process with Interlinc back in March. I was pre approved for a loan. They sat on the loan for over three months and were not able to get the loan approved. They only asked twice for conditions. I provided those conditions the very next day. The loan officer would not return calls and was very rude. I have been out of pocket over $2,000 trying to purchase this home. I have lost the money. Has anyone else had a problem with this company. I would like to file a formal complaint with the attorney general but not quite sure how to do this.

Melody was great from day one. I switched lenders in the middle of an escrow and she got on it from day one and we still closed on time. It was a very smooth transaction. Thanks Melody.

On Jan 2016 James Curt Lorden mortgage originator in St Pete Florida pre approved me for an incorrect amount for a home mortgage loan. He then told me to go find a house, which I did with my realtor. After I paid the deposit & for the inspection he texted me to let me know my loan was not approved because of my debt to income ratio was insufficient. (He knew this from the 1st day that he pulled my credit). I complained to the main office in Alabama who then got my in touch with Barry Jones VP. Barry assured me that he would resolve my mortgage loan. The only thing he did was refund my inspection money. It is now June 20th and Barry does not answer my calls or return them. My calls to him go directly to his voicemail. These employees have wasted my time and energy giving me the runaround. As far as Im concerned they are incompetent and lack social training skills. They lost a good customer in me and I will make sure to let others know of my horrible experience with them and for sure never recommend them to anyone! 0 stars & 5 thumbs down!
