I can’t sing the praises of Rock Mortgage any louder than a review on Google, right? From application to closing, the experience with Billy, our loan officer, Christian, our loan processor, was streamlined and simple. No exaggeration when I say I felt like I couldn’t be in better hands. Billy and Christian give the impression that they can do their jobs with their eyes closed. The combination of their experience got us out of underwriting faster than the secret service got Trump off of that stage. We had some issues with our title company so we got the opportunity to work with Orlando. Think of him as the closer. His last name is Rivera, super fitting as Mariano is the greatest closer of all time, but Orlando might make a run for that title, too. He was able to quickly resolve the issue (basically did the title reps job) and was able to get us funded so we can finally enjoy the fruits of our labor and call these four walls we now own, home. If these three people are any indication of how they select their people, I can bet my last dollar that everyone else that makes up their team is world class. I am a 3 time customer of Rock Mortgage, and this 5 star review is very overdue.I explored using a lender provided by a new home builder and I knew I needed to run it by Rock Mortgage to make sure I was getting a fair deal. Rock Mortgage found the lender was charging nearly $5,000 more and the interest rate was unable to be locked in or floated down until very close to the closing date. Within 24 hours of Rock Mortgage reviewing the other deal I was rate-locked and saving money on lending costs!Rock is a team of REAL people who do their jobs very well and dont pester customers with unnecessary asks. Christian, Billy, and Mike are excellent. For my next home(s) my lender will continue to Rock Mortgage.

As a first-time home buyer, I did not know what to expect from the financing side of things, but Sael Torres at Rock Mortgage explained everything thoroughly and was always by my side throughout the process. From explaining the very basics and then later the more intricate parts of the process to working late nights to provide me with numbers so I could decide on the property I was going to buy, Sael remained extremely professional and was super knowledgeable. There were several of surprises that popped up from the seller side of things that threw obstacles in the way for my financing to be approved, however Sael made it a point to take care of things so that I wouldn’t stress out. He drove out 30 miles out of his way to get an uncooperative party to respond and provide the information needed to close my loan. And once we were on the 1-yard line of closing, the title company made a big fuzz about nothing, and Sael laid down the law! When we though we had push closing further out, title caved, and we closed later that day. Sael personally attended my closing and explained in detail from the mountain of documents to ensure I was well educated and that I was comfortable with my new purchase.In short Sael and his loan processor, Christian De Aguinaga, were instrumental to getting me to the closing table and house keys in hand. THANK YOU, THANK YOU & THANK YOU! I NEED to thank you TOM & Samantha- at ROCK so much. I was about to make a 30-year blunder with my current lender (A Major Bank). I promised my wife years ago, that we would do the classic Kitchen and Master Bath update. So, I was all set to do a cash out Re-Fi and they assured me that they really wanted to keep my business and offered me a substantial reduction, in my rates, to keep my business. My neighbor is in a marketing club that meets with some regularity and he said before you sign; you should call Tom McGinnis of a mortgage company who is a member with him. My neighbor said that he is a straight shooter and just a good guy in general. Literally this is two days before we were going to close. I had done all the DocuSign’s (with banker) and we had an address and time set for the deal. I took his advice, just to quite my conscience.I can’t tell you how glad I made that contact. I called Tom and he asked a few preliminary questions, which I was fairly familiar with because we had already done the formal appraisal and survey on file all the Ts were crossed and Is were dotted. The only thing left was to close. Tom said let me check some things out and see what I can do for you. He called back in a couple hours and offered me a rate that was literally ½ point lower than my banker and with no points at closing! I asked him, “Are you sure?” and he said, “If your data is correct; We can do this?” He also mentioned, that most everything was still current and within time limits needed by the lender; so, we could get this done quickly. And we did. Both Tom and Samantha were very professional and especially prompt. If I called or emailed, they responded quickly. I was and am still impressed with the efficiency of the entire process. THANK YOU! Oh, did I mention that I was going to have to write a check (essentially) for $1,900 for points at my banker’s closing and left5 my checkbook in my pocket withy no points with Rock!!! You guys do rock.

I worked with Eduardo as a first time buying a home and his service was excellent. He was able to give me the most competitive rate even though that by the time we got the house (August 2022), the market was crazy! He also gave us different opportunities on how to proceed with the insurance and annual taxes! Ans he was able to find us the cheapest loan insurance (because we did not give the 20% down payment). His team is awesome too and it is very easy to communicate with all of them.
Rock Mortgage is the best! I originally was using another, very highly rated, mortgage company here in Houston. After a couple months with them, the loan fell through, and through no fault of my own. The sellers were frustrated because we waited so long with the other mortgage company. I can’t say enough good things about Rock Mortgage!! I am a Realtor the Greater Houston Area. Recently, I had a client that came to me and was already pre qualified with another lender for a really tough Jumbo Loan product. We found their dream house and got our offer accepted with a 45 day escrow period. On day 43 my clients lender said that they weren’t ready to close the file. They did this for another three weeks. They didn’t explain to my clients what was going on and why they continue to request unreasonable documents and overall they couldn’t get it closed. By this time my client had 14k in Earnest Money on the line to prevent from losing the house.After over two months spinning our wheels with the buyers first lender I suggested to them to switch lenders to Rock Mortgage. Found Rock Mortgage on Google and called and spoke with Jamie. Told him I had good credit and the income but wanted to work straight with a lender no realtor lol. Read the reviews and decided to give them a shot. Jamie and Rachid were excellent on the communication all the way through. At times I felt they were requesting a lot of documents ,Jamie still reassured me of why it was being required and helped me retrieve it. Jamie really walked me through the whole process of what to expect and how to handle it . It was my first time going through the process and I had tons of questions. Jamie was available each time I called to assist me and if he didn’t know the and the would find out and call me back. The team of Jamie and Rachid was very pro active at EVERYTHING! They even help me close 16 days earlier than scheduled! That’s amazing you can rarely find that! If you have all you paperwork together I would definitely suggest working with Rock mortgage!

As a first time homebuyer, I was a little nervous to begin the process of applying for/securing a loan, among all the other things that go into the homebuying process. This is something Id always interpreted as an extremely stressful experience. This was not at all the case with Rock Mortgage: Eduardo and his team made the entire experience straightforward and quick, and managed to get me a lower interest rate than I was budgeting for. I almost didnt believe it when the process was done so easily and without a hitch. My Loan Officer Jamie was there to check in with me, offer advice, and readily answer any questions every step of the way. Weeks after close, he even called me to inform me hed found a way to get me out of paying PMI (I only put 10% down; more than anything, I appreciated knowing that the professional help did not end after closing). I strongly recommend Rock Mortgage for their know-how and for going far beyond the minimum of professional service. I am looking forward to continuing a working relationship with them in the future.

Highly recommend! I just bought my first home and am so thankful my realtor recommended me to Rock mortgage! The professionals at Rock Mortgage will make your mortgage happen.Once they pre-approve you, they will work tirelessly for you until you close on your home.Eduardo Adame sat down with my wife and I one afternoon at 3:30 pm to evaluate the best mortgage for us.He made us feel as if we were his only clients which could not be further from the truth. We were eligible for a VA loan; however, we were open to other options. We explored all of those options at length. Eduardo was on the phone with decision makers at several banks getting the most current and correct information from all of them. He was asking us for a lot of information (no loan officer had ever been near this thorough in my experience). Please keep in mind that I have seen many people get pre-approval letters from banks only to have their packets rejected by underwriting while trying to close.I am self employed which only makes the process more difficult.Eduardo evaluated that the VA option would be the best loan for us and the most difficult for him. Of course he pursued the option that was best for his clients.That said somewhere after 8:00 pm that night he had us truly pre approved. Our loan packet went through underwriting flawlessly.Thank you Rock Mortgage.

They were not professional ,kept getting passed around different people and my papers kept getting lost or cannot be found . Is always asking for the same paperwork. As soon as you talk to the 1st person they are already asking for money. And expect you to have all your paperwork ready when you just calling to ask questions , they run your credit as soon as possible . They kept saying everything was good and nothing else was needed from me. Coming to an end spoke with a young kid . They brought up that Ive been late on my 2 mortgage payments during covid. Which we talked about this in the beginning and showed them paperwork but everything was still good they said . It was a WAST of time and money .

Dont use this company. The first guy, Billy, had a terrible attitude, then one of the owners called me and assured things that resulted faked. At the end I lost several days in the process, they asked the same information several times and I lost money as collateral damage of their service
*Caution* Was denied from this place because they couldnt verify my income even with w2s, pay stubs & HR contacts. They tried to cut my income in half because of this & would therefore automatically deny me obviously. Think they have a thing against minorities personally theyre not professional & come off rude. I suppose that wouldnt be surprising since only 2 pictures here have minorities outta the 20+ lol.
