I wish I could report that my company’s experience has been great and I am looking for to a productive working relationship with HCMA/Associa. However like many of you, my company’s has experienced the same lack of professionalism. We were contacted by the HOA of , the beautiful Foster Creek Estates to complete a service. We contracted and completed the job on 9/21-23/2024. The Board stated that they were 100% satisfied with the service we provided. Once invoiced for the services, we began to experience inconsistencies from Houston Community Management Association property Manager, Nathaniel Griffin. Mr Griffin’s less than professional attitude toward my company and the service we provide was obvious from the start. We have experienced a complete disregard regarding past due payment from Nathanial, as well Associa that is unbelievably unprofessional. There is an obvious complete breakdown in the company’s operating policies. WITHIN this small timeframe We have been told by Associa that HCMA was mailed the check shortly after the invoice was received. HCMA says that is not a practice of theirs and they have no knowledge of payment. Then we were told the check was mailed from HCMA. (See picture)Today, 10/11/2024 we asked for an update by close of business today. Nathaniel viewed the request as disrespectful and a personal insult….so much so that he hung up in the face of my Accountant. We tried to assure him that to inquire about a past due invoice was standard business practice. We have not received payment or any update regarding the “missing check” as of yet. We have informed the answering service of Associa that escalating the matter will result in additional expenses after today. I am bringing this matter here in hopes that it will gain the attention of the Community Manager Supervisor, Maria Maldonado.
Very nice and good people to work with gave me a extra two weeks to get everything in order before even starting to work. Ms Lauryn is very professional and mr. Warren level of understanding is great i would definitely recommend contractors/handymen to work with this company.

Since June 2024, I have called TEN times to discuss discrepancies in payment. Each time, I have been told by a representative or supervisor that they would check and call back with a resolution. I have NEVER received a call back despite the several attempts I have made to follow up. And while they ask me to wait, they are charging me late fees. I would also like to mention that my account reflects TEN cases I made with your support team since June 12, 2024. They are reflected as “closed” in the online portal as if they have been addressed/resolved. This is inaccurate as not one single case was addressed since I followed up nearly 6 months ago. There has been an insane increase in monthly charges and I dont understand how this money is being used. Especially since I have paid out of pocket for repairs to the covered parking and leaks inside the property that was neglected by your office. These repairs are in the scope of the HOA and should have been addressed and repaired in a timely manner. This is terrible service and I am very frustrated by management. I hope they choose to do right by the people they serve.
Angela Creech is an amazing manager. Her wisdom, kindness, and problem solving abilities are top notch! When I have questions or need help, she always steps up and provides a very timely response.
Danny Benvin absolutely deserves a 5-star review. We started our relationship with a cold call a few years ago, and since then, we’ve built a solid friendship. He’s incredibly professional and truly cares about the community management industry. As a vendor, he’s always treated us with respect and has shown that he values strong partnerships. Danny gets that good relationships are built on communication, collaboration, and trust.
Lauryn is courteous and attentive. During this alarming financial issue, she has graciously assisted us with resolving delicate details. We are very glad she is on this team. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
1. They only communicate through a townsquare app, but signing up for the app is not part of the buying process. Once you know you need to use the app, it is impossible to get through to someone to get registered. When I finally DID get through, they have my zip code wrong on my profile, and cant change it.2. they send people out to take pictures of our garbage cans, but shrubbery and fences are in disrepair, there are too many cars parked in driveways (some people have several huge company vehicles and landscaping trailers - like 24 ft- parked on the street). neighbors keep dogs outside or in garage all day and night, and just let them bark. But there is NO way to communicate with the management company.3. I called the manager, assistant manager, area supervisor, and the general number. The only one that picked up was the general number, and that was after many, many, attempts on various different days.
Just had an infuriating experience with Houston Community Management Services. We wrote our annual assessment check on December the 29th, 2024. We also wrote checks to Harris County Tax Assessor at that time for property taxes, Clear Creek ISD, and Clear Lake Water Authority. All these checks were mailed from the Albert Thomas post office in January. Our local taxing authorities promptly received, processed, and deposited our payments, and they cleared our bank in January. Houston Community Management Services did not process our December 29th payment until February 5th. On February 15th, we received an invoice for the Annual charge, plus a late fee, plus a late interest fee, plus a handling fee. I called the phone number on the statement. I sat through about 4 minutes of recordings before I could actually talk to a representative. The representative (a very pleasant lady) stated that she worked remotely and seemed to be working in a calling center somewhere overseas. I explained everything I had outlined above; she put me on a 5 -7 minute hold. When she came back on the phone, she gave me a case number and stated that in 45 days, the BOARD would review my case! It was evident that Houston Community Management Services has no customer service representation. The individual I talked to (again, very pleasant) was not empowered to do anything more than record the call and kick it down the road to the Board for 45 days. Finally, I appreciate the role that Houston Community Management Services plays in maintaining our community standards. It seems to me that their operational, accounting, and customer service are lacking and not even up to the standards of our local taxing authorities.

Our new Associa property manager for Tranquility Lake Condominiums Lauryn Munday is exceptional. She has always been very responsive, thorough, and follows up in responding to our requests and concerns. Since she has taken over as our property manager, I’ve noticed that our property is showing noticeable signs of improvement. This company is trash. I have been trying to reach Diana Pitogo property manager for Willow Oaks for several months now. She doesn’t respond to phone calls or emails. I’ve spoken with my property HOA board and they have been getting the same experience.

This Management Company is a great example of why people HATE HOAs. When you try to contact someone you get nothing but the run-around (ie: theyll put in a request, which may take up to 48 hours for response). They wont/cant give out the direct contact information for your Community Manager - so requests languish hopelessly. Ive sent emails to their urgentsupport email - only to be ghosted. Trying to get an ARC Request through is a freaking nightmare and can take up to a month and a half - so you get to contract and PAY your contractor/supplier - and then cant do a damned thing about getting the work scheduled/done when the contractor is ready because this management company cant seem to be able to effectively communicate, nor do their jobs. This Comments section forces you to click on at least one star to be able to post - but I wouldnt give them ANY stars if it werent required.
I cant speak from experience about other personnel at HCMS, but as for Angela Creech she is highly dependable and the consummate professional. Without fail, every inquiry I sent her was responded to in a satisfactory manner.
The office staff have diligently follow up my concerns regarding an erroneous bill. It took awhile, but looks like they are close to cleaning this clerical error (from previous management).
Every time I have needed something, Taylor Williams has been there to help! She is kind and professional and has made the transition into our new home seamless.

I frankly dont know if this company even operates fully. They have collected my monthly HOA payments timely, but after 3 months of requesting a routine service (or at least it was routine with the previous management company), all I have received is a few messages redirecting responsibility and no information on any actions taken. They even closed my request on the online communication platform, as if the issue was resolved but I am completely in the dark about a resolution. I am including my conversations here for clarity, I hope someone in this company realizes what is going on. I have spoken with my neighbors and this seems to be a problem for several of my neighbors at this property.I continue to have propblems with this companys response to my routine requests for service or repairs. Whats going on with this company. Is there anyone I can speak with to find a solution? Please contact me.

I am not sure where you get the authority to make decisions for our community. You are not working with the board or our community on choices. I don’t know how what is being selected for us is being selected or why those selections are the topic. I have had this conversation repeatedly. Why does this keep happening?

Our HOA is horrible! They do NOTHING for our neighborhood. We have debris from the last storm still in a yard that no one pick up. There are junk unregistered cars in driveways. People park their cars on the front lawn. There are people running a business at that property and stay up late playing loud music. They are also having customers come there and when they do there are so many people that they block the street causing it to be a safety hazard! Grass in the front of that one house with the debris is WAIST high. There are so many other infractions on the street of Amargos Drive that every employee in the HOA should be FIRED! They have received so many complaints that my husband and I have called in to Laura Mundy, the manager, it’s RIDICULOUS! All the HOA does is tell us that ALL they can do is send letters to the guilty parties, and apart from that they sit back and let it continue on as if nothing has happened. We are sick of this HOA! Now, if we DARE NOT pay our HOA fees, I know that this same HOA that neglects to take care of our community will put me, my husband and my little dog out of our home quicker than can blink your eye with NO REMORSE! Mission Bend South is a total disaster! We’ve also been told that there is someone who goes and looks for any kind of problems or issues. He supposedly goes through twice a month! I’ve NEVER seen this person since I’ve lived here for over 10 years and they’ve never told us who this person is. However, when we make complaints they want us to take pictures and get the addresses of where the trouble is. If they have “some one” that goes through our neighborhood and he’s getting paid, he needs to be FIRED immediately because he’s not doing his job! So, for all of these issues there has never been ANYTHING done. We reported that there are Commercial vehicles that are parked in the neighborhood overnight and beyond. The vehicles are still parking there! So, my question is this, what are you being paid for? They take our money and nothing has been done. At this point, as for the people that work for the HOA right now, they ALL need to be FIRED!!! Let’s see if any ACTION is taken. At this point I highly doubt it.
Mrs. Williams is an asset to any Team. We have had Zero Issues and very Prompt on Returning Messages. We will miss Her Expertise and Wish Her the Best.

Never seen an HOA where you can’t speak to a human or get anyone to call you or respond ever that actually handles your neighborhood. It’s like you’re calling an answering service that messages your community manager but you can’t speak to anyone who knows anything or get a phone number. It’s truly shocking to get that poor of a setup for the amount annually paid to this HOA. Worst service that I’ve ever seen.
They stole my boat with help of an HOa Association that they manage. They did not follow laws, would not give me even their own last name, or what towing company they used ( against the law). These guys are criminals and now I have to waste my time suing them. Stay clear of these idiots!
Sarah was very helpful and answered my call right away unlike other companies I have dealt with. She was professional and took care of all my needs leaving me with a smile on my face. It was the happy ending I needed after a stress filled week. Would not hesitate to recommend her to all my friends. She is a true angel.
Our community is privileged to have Julian Suniga as our property manager. He is innovative and problem solving when we need him to be. He is responsive to community needs and patient with the Board when this is needed. He has in the short time he has been our manager has helped us right the ship so we can look ahead and not behind. He knows his job and does it well, and seems to have fun doing it.

Not even one star...no kind of service whatsoever. still waiting to get reimbursed for the roof i had to replace because Sarah told me I would get reimbursed. I put in the new roof in January because Sarah told me not to wait for someone from the association to replace it but to do it myself and I would get reimbursed in July. Here we are in August and Sarah is no longer part of the association. There is a Desiree that replaced her and when I asked about the reimbursement, she just shrugged her shoulders. Tried emailing with no response whatsoever. A lot of the homeowners are having no resolution either to any of their issues. Makes me wonder if this Associa HOA Management even exists. All I get back is open request but nothing ever gets done.
I get a lot of promises and few results. Every maintenance request, even leaking sprinklers take months to repair and many follow ups all by me.

Her prompt, professional and detailed response to my question made what could have been a stressful communication an outstanding transaction. By far one of the worst experiences dealing with an HOA. The lack of communication from this service provider is ridiculous, not sure what type of service is provided here besides an answering service that continuously sends you their website. Evey time you call they state they do not have information or cannot provide the information and state someone will give you a call back. Weeks pass and no call back..
They manage the HOA for Lakes of Falcon Ridge in Friendswood, TX and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of them. They also love handing out violations that shouldn’t be handed out and there is literally no recourse for residents.
Taylor has always gone above and beyond to make sure we have our community needs met. She is an asset to us!!

I find it extremely hard to believe any of the positive reviews left here and have already discovered one conflict of interest and suspect there are many more.It is almost impossible to get anyone from Associa on the telephone. The recording comes on and says theyre experiencing a higher than usual call volume - regardless of the time of day you call - and you are encouraged to email or leave a message. Messages will be returned within 2 business days. Except they arent.The most reliable and yet still unreliable means of getting a response from the staff is to email them. However when one person is unable to resolve an issue, the higher level management will literally ignore any communication and leave you in limbo.The staff is unresponsive, untrained, unprofessional, unmonitored, unaccountable, unfit, unethical, incompetent, unmotivated, uncaring, unqualified and nonchalant. It should not take YEARS to receive simple explanation about fees. It should not take WEEKS for an account to be updated.Consumers, take back your power and file complaints. Sue them if you must.

Not many HOA companies with good customer service or seems these days, I had a great experience with them recently and spoke with a Mandy I believe her name was. She was very personable and really listened to me and provided helpful solutions. Thankful that some people still offer kind customer service!!

HCMS, is truly an amazing company that cares about the communities they serve, they don’t just look at the communities and people within them as a number, they actually care about the people they serve. It’s truly a rarity these days when a company actually cares about the people they serve, when you call them, they actually have a person that answers the phone. On the weekends if there’s an emergency, they have an on call person to help out with any issues that may arise. I’d like to highlight one employee specifically that has always been amazing, Angela Creech. She truly goes the extra mile with any project, she works on and person she serves. No matter what the situation is or how crazy the “ask” is, she is always there to serve. One time in particularly was amazing when I had a lot going on, I forgot to pay my HOA dues, before things got excessive she sent me a gentle reminder. Another time I had a question about my trees and she gave me advice on the best way to handle it.I highly recommend this company because they are a great company, but more importantly, they hire amazing, like Angela Creech

I am unhappy with this company they take the time to drive through your neighborhood looking to find something wrong and if they cant find anything wrong then they Nick pic. I received a letter that said attention garage I called five or six times just to get their voicemail I finally talked to someone and they were complaining about a screen over my garage that was rolled up. I spoke with several neighbors that have screens over their garage and they didnt receive a letter I dont understand how they can give one person a letter and dont give the others a letter and adding that screen doesnt changemy property at all I should be able to have a screen to keep out the bugs and have some privacy this shouldnt be an infraction I pay my dues every year and I keep my property up so I give this company one ⭐
Our property manager, Ashley McDaniel, is very responsive and a hard worker. The work relationship has been invaluable to our small board, in keeping our dues as low as possible while providing our community with the services it needs.

My experience with Sarah Long has been 5 Stars. Sarah has been our manager since last November. She hit the ground running with our community, which was very much in need of a good manager. Each time I have reached out to Sarah she has promptly returned my calls, emails and texts. Sarah has helped us resolve several problems that have unexpected come up for our community. She has really been a blessing to me as the President of a small HOA.
This association manages a property (Pearland Place) behind my residence and refuses to maintain the ditch between my property and their managed property.
Sarah was one of the most thorough, and detailed reps. I have ever had. She answered all my questions before i even had a chance to ask any. Even afterwards when she asked if I had any questions. I literally couldn’t think of one thing extra to ask.
I am a home owner in a Bellaire Tx community of 13 homes. We have faced many challenges with the builder over the past 6 years. They have ignored our communities needs. We have been actively trying to get the builder who refuses to turn over the HOA to the homeowners for more then 2 years to no avail.Most recently we have a new HOA representative, from the builder, who is working very diligent to have the HOA turned over to the homeowners as it should be. He schedules regular meetings and responds to questions in a timely manner.His name is Julian Sunigar. We are lucky to have him working so closely with us trying his best to help solve some of our HOA problems and most importantly to have the builder turn over the HOA to the homeowners. We are gratefull for his efforts and hopefully, with his help, will get results.Homeowner
I never been humiliated in my life and hopeless the way this HOA deals with us. Im a new & first home owner and tried to make a payment but with their confusing system, lack of assistance, unprofessionalism and ignorance now they want me pay ~ $5,000 for a late payment and lawyer fees which could have been resolved long time ago if they give me the right information. I tried to pay even with late payment but they do not want to talk to me except through their lawyer. Unfortunately their lawyer smiled to my face and told me if I do not pay the entire amount now, Ill have to pay double or triple the amount later. This is ridiculous, I wish I have enough money to sue them with their rip off law firm company. I wonder if there is a hidden business between this company and their lawyer. I bought a house in Friendswood to live in peace, never expected to have such a nightmare!

HCM has done an amazing job ever since Ashley McDaniel took over our account. She is very dependable, great with follow through and most importantly a great communicator. Having her on our account is like having Autopilot for the Board Members. Our budget is done on time, assessment letters go out on time and her work with the residents impeccable. The helps facilitate communication between the board and vendors and most importantly provides great recommendations when we ask. Recently we signed with a new pool management company she recommended and we made the entire year without any major complaints. Ashley is the reason we stay with HCM. She is a true asset to the company and our community.
Louise Moore is the property manager. I have lived and worked with several management companies in Houston and this one rates at the very bottom. The communication and customer service is horrid. They are slow to respond to any requests or concerns, and unapologetic about it.

If I could give a negative star, it would be -1000! Kathryn Bennett was absolutely horrible in dealing with my situation. This management kept charging me late fees and penalties when my account was in good standing! Phone calls are not answered or returned. You can forget about emailing them….they will not email back or the will give you information you do not want or need. If you enjoy being lied to, talk to Stephanie T. When I asked for Kathryn’s supervisor? I was told there was not one, Katheryn owns this company. Really?I am determined to have this association removed from representing our CIA even if I have to become a Board Member. Which looks like a good possibility since 3 members are leaving.Please do not insult me anymore by asking me to email you to discuss this situation. Just know you do not “…Providing exceptional service to our customers, community members, and each other is at the center of everything we do.” If you actually lived by your business motto, we would not be in this situation.
This company is terrible. They sent bill for Association dues to be paid by 01/01/2024. This wouldnt be a problem except it didnt arrive until 01/02/2024. I paid immediately and check has cleared. Today 01/27/2024 I received another bill with a handling charge. Why should I pay for their blunder. It clearly states due date upon receipt which I did. If you pay online you are charged a so called convenience fee. Why should I be charged to pay a bill.

The fact that you all are able to get ahold of a live person is baffling to me for those who left a 4 to 5 star review. Each year my husband and I try to get ahold of someone by phone and that’s a hard task. The voice recording states that you can leave a voicemail, but I am unable to do so due to how they setup the voice recording system.I received a letter at the beginning of this year (2024) stating that I had until the end of March to pay my HOA dues which I receive the same letter each year. Today, 3-25-24, I received a certified letter stating I had 90 days to pay my dues and now I’m being charged a title search fee. My HOA bill went from $560 to $660. I tried calling this company, but just like all the years prior, I am unable to get in contact with a live person.Staci Hubbard

The house across the street from me appears to be abandoned. The yard was overgrown with weeds everywhere. I reported the issue and it was taken care of in a timely manner. I am very pleased. I wish I had thought to take before and after videos.
My experience with this company has been horrible . The representative for the community where I live (Amber Ellison) refuses to return calls, emails about ongoing issues. I have received a violation and fees for an address that is definitely NOT my home. When you call the main number or email them it says they will return your call or email within 2 business days LIES! And whoever Kathryn Bennett is her voicemail says she’s out of the office and will return on June 6, must be June 6,2024 and that’s why she doesn’t respond. This company is a JOKE!
I received a response (surprisingly much faster than when I was calling and emailing the company) on my review 5 days ago with an poor explanation of why its taking so long for the representative to assist me. I was told that someone would contact me but I havent received an response yet. This is poor management.

Hello Lucia. Part of offering unsurpassed service..., which part of your statement on you email signature, is first offering a proper greeting to the homeowners which you serve. In email communique it would be professional to greet the person in which you are writing to. Also, its a bit late to respond to homeowners inquiries 3 days later. I think it would be appropriate for perhaps have a 24 hour response time in place; as a standard. So, lets just start there. Thank you.
Maya was very good at her job she treated me and my husband great and every time we come back we want her working with us. She made our time awesome and memorable.
Falsely charged my account ridiculous fees and legal charges without ever mailing a 209 letter certified. They billed me thousands of dollars in legal fees and their back up didnt even match my account information. They accepted my payment and illegally applied it to illigitimate legal fees... as texas law states any payments are to be applied to assessments 1st. They filed for foreclosure... and the judge threw out almost all the legal fees. They refused to update my account and even after the judge stated they could not charge any additional legal fees they added 10k in legal fees to my account and prevented me from actually paying my annual dues. They threatened to continue taking me to court if I chose to fight it to get me for every legal fee originally on my account because they could afford it. They charged my HOA fund for legal dues a Judge declared excessive.It took my neighbor board members CANCELING the contract with them for my account to finally get updated, but THEY set up my account with the incorrect email so instill cannot activate or register to make payments. Checks I mailed were addressed correctly and returned to me. Sounds allot like they kept trying to find a waybto show my account in default to file foreclosure AGAIN. RIDICULOUS. ASSOCIAS management never responds to emails until you copy everyone you possibly can. They are unprofessional and they will spend every penny of your HOAs fund by any means necessary. Steer clear from this nightmare company.

I have been calling this company for 2.5 weeks. It appears no one mans the phones. The emergency hotline is a busy signal. No matter what extension you select, it disconnects or rings into oblivion. I have also sent emails, which are unanswered. Not sure how in the world this management has so many good reviews.
I have had the worst service from Stephanie Thomas. I have called several times and left voice mails, and have sent e-mails requesting to discuss the issue with my HOA fee. The only time she replied to any e-mail that I (or my wife) sent was when we finally gave up trying to contact to discuss, and just paid the bill with the fines racking up. This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. If this were a restaurant, I would stand outside and tell folks not to go in. They suck! The service is terrible. As stated, the only response you get is when you pay. If I had a choice, I would never do business with them again. Even the web site that should have information is not very good. The messages are put in the site, and its expected that you login to read them. I do not work for this company. I dont login to check for messages. I expect messages to either be sent via USPS or e-mail. Everything that I receive from The Grove CIA, I read. According to the records on the site, we were sent 2 prior notifications, but we never received either of them. We only received the one in June, and thats when I started calling and leaving messages. After not getting any return calls from Stephanie, we decided to pay the bill so we dont get any more late charges. I went onto the website on 7/30, and paid the bill in full plus the included exorbitant convenience fee. Now, I have returned to the web site to make sure that everything is paid, and there is another charge for $25 for August, after I have already paid the bill along with the stupid fee. I am beyond annoyed at this point. Is there any one else at the Town Square who handles The Grove CIA account with whom I could speak about this? I need to be contacted via e-mail 1st, please. Due to too many phone solicitors and scammers, only phone numbers that I know will ring through.
Mryanda Laughlin is a very important person to Aswell Fence and Gate. She always goes above and beyond to make sure I get my R#s and Q#s . But the most important thing about Myranda she makes sure I get paid for my invoices that she processes. Im so thankful to have her working with me. Review will be updated as things progress. I have tried making contact for months noone returns calls noone returns emails just automated junk over and over. I have a major problem that I need their assistance with noone seems to care. Terrible business. I finally have gotten the homeless squatters out and have been trying to move in. They took the mail keys I have no mailbox key to get the payment book to pay you guys, I have no keys to the pool, and clubhouse. I have no idea where my parking spots are You guys only want to call when its convenient for you, Ive spent 9 months almost trying to gey these bums out and not any advice or assistance from you it yakes days to gey a return phonecall even if I get one. I missed the deadline to file a police report because noone called pr emailed me back they stole the couch and furniture out of here when I evicted them. I need all the information so I can get settled in and make a payment for the hoa fees I cannot even gey access to. Its ridiculous thay you cant have a physical person here at least once a week to answer questions for residents. Even worse you dont seem to care when or if you answer my questions. Its cost me almost 15k getting them out dumping all the trash they left behind and destroyed the house, Im jusy asking for a little assistance I have no idea whay to do noone tells me anything except check the mailbox... well they have the keys to thay and have stolen my bank account information amd money from that too. Thay should have never happened you advertise you have cameras and if you did the cops could have followed through with the police reports. Its too late now rhe statuye of limitations has passed. I want my keys, my parking spots, and anything thay comes with a new owner. I will happily cut you a check for whats owed when you take care of youre end of the business. I cant even wash clothes theyve stolen my washing machine and I have no key to gey into the washroom.

Very disappointing experience. I am an owner in of the townhomes they manage. Currently experiencing foundation issues. I have called several times and emailed for months without success. When you call to the front desk there’s no response, I’ve opened a ticket in the app they use, and due to HOA guidelines I am not able to proceed in fixing my foundation issues without their approval. My situation is getting more dangerous with the foundation cracks getting worse and I have not received further feedback from management other than checking on the matter.

Im changing HOAs April 2024. Thank God for that! This HOA is totally worthless. I called them over two dozen times for information and problems with no results. When I call them I always get their answering machine even during business hours! After leaving a message it takes them 2 to 3 days them to get back to me. I called the HOA to help me for emergency water shut off. They said thats not their problem. Theyre very hard to get a hold of and its impossible to get any answers from them. Theyre about as useful as a black eye.
Hector Estrada was horrible in customer service he laughed when I told him I have been waiting since October of 2023 for approval letter for my application for my HOA.Once I told him that it was not funny he got mad and then told he that they were approved but would not send to me to get from the property manager.I suggest u dont call these people rude and no respect for home owners
I left a voicemail yesterday with a maintenance need and it was done a couple hours later. I still received a follow up call today from Lucia just to ensure all my needs were met. I asked a question about our deed restrictions and she quickly scanned the governing documents and gave me the info I needed. Excellent service, impeccable follow through! Way to go Lucia Mejia!!

My experience with this company has been awful. The representative for our community (James Kelemen) refuses to return calls, emails or provide updates on an ongoing issues.We rented out the clubhouse in our neighborhood back in the beginning of May and have yet to receive our deposit.*update*The issue still hasn’t been resolved. Since making the initial post two individuals (one being Sandy) have reached with promises to either help or follow with me and neither has done so. Unfortunately, as homeowners we clearly don’t have a say so in the HOA company that is chosen. Associa is by far the one of the worse companies I have ever had to deal with. Good luck on getting someone to pick up the phone. Definitely will be reporting them to the BBB.*update*Still have not received a resolution.At this point I’m convinced they have pocketed the funds. No one has the decency to return my calls or emails. A bunch of unprofessional criminals.
Horrible, horrible experience. It takes multiple emails/phone calls just to get a response and that response is clear that the voicemails and emails were never even read in the first place. It has taken myself, my husband, and our contractor multiple attempts just to get a hold of someone for a roof replacement where there are 3 active leaks and even then, the only response we got was if we submitted through TownsQ when all 10+ emails already sent have stated that the house was just purchased and they haven’t set up our account yet to do so. We’re back to getting no responses, no help, literally nothing….all while my house incurs further damage.All this screams is that they’re incapable of managing any HOA and it looks like I’ll be attending every single upcoming meeting (with all documentation of our communication attempts) to lobby for new management with our current contract expiration.All neighbors that have welcomed us into the neighborhood have had nothing but complaints too. Just horrible, unprofessional management.
Horrible communication with these people. We tried over a year to get in contact with them to set up our account after purchasing our home. After months of calls and leaving voicemails, we personally visited their office multiple times requesting an account to pay our dues. A year later, here we are receiving a letter that our account is “delinquent” even though we’ve been practically begging for help so we can pay our HOA fees. We also don’t have any of our pool tags nor information about anything on the community. Laughable customer service.

Terrible service and rude staff.No body answers the phone, responds to voice mail, or emails timely. Even emails to the customer support inbox go unanswered. Requests entered in the TownSquare app sit unattended for weeks at a time.When home owners demand the services they pay for, the staff will respond but is rather rude in their manner.Dont do business with these people if you can avoid it. One of the worst experiences Ive ever had. As soon as its possible Ill petition to have them fired as our HOA manager.

Your office charged me for handling charges before I ever received the first letter that something was due, then charged me again, then charged me a certified letter fee again before I even received the second letter. I never received a letter in July, only one in the middle of September, and then another a few days ago. I didnt get an email or a phone call, just your office depending on the archaic United States postal service, do you understand that it is called snail mail for a reason?its ridiculous, how can you charge someone 25.00 on 9/30/23 and then 5 days later charge them a certified letter fee of 15.00? I send certified mail all the time, it does not cost 15.00, so the only conclusion is that your office tacks on absorbent inflated fees.I will pay your inhumane fees, but you are your office should be ashamed, it takes two seconds to pick up the phone, but apparently, that is too difficult, you would rather charge me 25.00 per letter when a stamp is .55 cents.Your office charged me for something I never received, the original letter that you say went out in July. Why not use the website to send messages that something is due, is it because you want to charge people for the error within the USPS system?Shameful.
I lost an old record between the HOA and myself and needed to get a copy. Lucia Mejia greeted me very courteously and strived to find the old record to help. She emailed a copy of the record and followed up with me to make sure I received the email and attachment. Thank you, Lucia for your help.

This place is a joke. We have gotten 3 letters now the last one certified. They all say in bold Please mow and edge the entire front yard area, including curb lines. Thank you. That to me sounds like I need to mow and edge my yard. I have a yard guy that comes every 2 weeks because of the time of year and does just that. After the first letter asked him to start coming weekly again. It wasnt until I got the certified letter completely confused that I found out what they really wanted. I have tried to call for hours cant get a hold of anyone. Finally figured out their website. Logged in and found the violation said yard need to be re-sodded. We just had a pool completed recently and there is a small patch of grass growing back I guess not fast enough. But in none of the letters they mailed to us did it say anything about that. Its like they wanted to get money so left out the real problem. If you are going to send letters residents cant fix things if they dont say the problem.

She double-checked the work, sent me updates via email in real time, and made sure I had everything I needed before letting me go. The Brittany Bay HOA and community has been supported very well by Karen Lopez this past year. In many cases she has gone above the normal job requirements to provide us with answers and research issues.

I wanted was to find out how to contact my HOA board, how to access the my HVAC system (located on the roof), and to obtain the neighborhood covenants. All I received was a note with zero information content saying that someone else was ccd. Two days later, still nothing. By contrast, the HOA for my other residence has directors contact info and board calendar posted online, as well as HOA covenants. This is basic stuff and the performance of HCM is unacceptable.
Lucia was outstanding in resolving bank billpayer issue on HOA late fees I incurred; she was friendly, knowledgeable & efficient- proactively called & performed 3 way call with me & my bank when I called, and satisfied the bank’s onerous requirements for proof of late fees incurred due to their mistake. Lucia THANK YOU for your help & kindness!!!
I would like to thank Arielle as a wonderful understanding representative that had helped me to understand the options that me and my family have for HOA payments as well as providing me knowledge that we can pay early or by monthly arrangements before the annual due date, I appreciate her providing me with not only the question I called for, as this is our first HOA, and was never explained the process beforehand on the options, she was a great listener and I appreciate her help.Thanks again.
