So many mgnt companies have an e-answering service or receptionist in which we must leave a message for your neighborhood specialist, then they never call back. Danielle not only helped with my question, but took time to explain and set up my profile for the subdivision. I live in Baldwin Square in Midtown in Houston, Texas. I filled out the application to get my roof replaced. I didn’t realize how bad it was, and it usually takes about 45 days for it to get approved. I went to the proper channels with Starling Association services. I cannot tell you how happy I am with their service towards my needs. I was approved within two days, and the customer service was terrific. I want to thank Danielle Carmical for making this possible and letting my family and me have peace of mind; I cannot tell you again how shocked I am that it got approved this fast.

The most unresponsive HOA company weve ever used. They never hold our community meetings. If they are being held- they dont give us schedules, agendas or let owners give input into anything. They always increase our fees every year, and the maintenance in the community is not done, or overseen by them. We (the neighbors) have had to take it upon ourselves for maintenance on the pool, sprinklers, lights and common spaces. Who knows what they do with our money. And they never process paperwork correctly after people sell their homes, or update the contact lists in the neighborhood. Would not recommend.

The only thing they do is to send voilations but don’t take any a tion about the concerns raised by residents (filthy lakes, weeds on green areas, commercial vehicles parked on driveways etc.). This is an unbelievably bad maintenance company. My 4 year old neighborhood looks like a nightmare. The majority of homes have weed-choked yards and flowerbeds, the pool is regularly not open, cars are parked on the yards, common areas are not maintained, and as the neighborhood looks worse and worse, crime has become a problem and no security to be seen. When they were to turn the HOA over to the residents, it took over a year of homeowner pressure. They finally asked for applicants and held an election but never gave the results. Months later, they asked for applicants again. This time, they loaded the ballot with their professional management people while leaving off many home owners. This company is a nightmare to deal with and should be avoided at all costs. If in doubt, take a drive around Camillo Lakes in Katy and see if that is what you want your neighborhood to look like.

I cannot stress how incredibly frustrating this management company is. I dropped off my HOA fees for Memorial Chase to them in November of 2023 and when I called to use the club house a whole year later I was informed that my property has a lien placed on it due to me not paying my HOA fee. After speaking to their attorney (the O’Neil law firm) I was informed that they sent my check via USPS to the HOA’s office but the check was lost in the mail. The HOA was informed the check was lost in March of 2024 but no one from the Memorial Chase office reached out to me, the property owner. Instead a lien was placed on my property. I didn’t find any of this out until NOVEMBER OF 2024!!! After finding this out I called, emailed, and left voicemails for Norah and Karissa and got no response. I even asked for my balance so I could just pay it and they couldn’t tell me that! They couldn’t even tell me where to drop the check off!After a MONTH of no help I finally got Brenda at the office to give me my balance but now I have to dispute late fees that I’m being charged for. I’ve honestly never had this much difficulty to pay something in my life.If I could give a zero I would.

Sterling ASI sent a notification that my front window glass was broken and the window was boarded. I called and advised that they had the wrong property. They advised that I had to complete a form and email it to them clarifying the situation. I did. To my surprise I received an email back thanking me for advising them about the error and that the issue would be removed from my property file. I appreciate the extra step of notification.

I live in Braewood Glen. My experience hasnt been that good. I submitted an application to replace my roof on 11/22/2024, and up to this date today, 12/12/2024, the answer I get either through phone email or through the online portal, is that it has been received and that the application is still pending. The roof has a been leaking, and my kitchen cabinets have suffered greater damages. Each time I have managed to get a board member on the phone they always say that the person responsible and incharge of helping me is either out for weeks on vacations, or they are closing the office early do to a party they are attending, or are hosting. While my house rots to the ground and as I constantly reach out for help, since its not their house thats deteriorating, all HOA seems to do is party, party party. Is this why they are raising our yearly fees? We have rain scheduled for this weekend and Im stuck unable to get my roof fixed waiting on Home Owners Association to approve my application.How much longer do I have to wait? Time will tell. I will repost the sequel of this review once Im showed human compassion.

I am a resident at Villas At Candlelight Park. DO NOT MOVE HERE. The HOA is abusive with their power and have made our lives extremely uncomfortable. I am an Army Active Duty Service member. I have lived all over the world in my 18 years of service. I have never encountered a more abusive HOA like the one here. Erika and Pam are the absolute worst. My truck has been towed from my home multiple times for alleged parking violations to include from the front of the home. Yes the front of the home!!! If you have visitors they require you to have a guest pass which does not guarantee anything by the way. I would urge anyone who reads this to not move to this location do not buy a home in here. My family and I are being targeted by Erika and Pam. Just yesterday I was loading some things to my truck and they parked in front about to call the towe truck. I asked them why are they like this? The response was, I dont have to talk to you. I then asked for clear rules on parking and she drove off. That being said, I have pictures and video proof that others parking as they wish for hours and nothing happens. !!!BE ADVISED... DO NOT BUY OR RENT HERE!!!

I’m not one to typically leave reviews, but in this case, I feel like I should. This is the first time I’ve ever dealt with an HOA before and it has been amazing. After the storms I had some issues that needed to be addressed and when I called and got to speak to an actual person it was such a relief. Danielle listened to all of my issues and put everything into motion to get them fixed. Not only that, she continued to follow up and make sure everything was being taken care of- you don’t find employees like that anymore, they are lucky to have her.

We have moved into a new house in a community thats managed by Sterling ASI. We are paying the monthly HOA dues and Sterling ASI hasnt provided us access to the amenity center. Weve submitted the required paperwork to 4 different people over the course of 3 weeks and have never had our information processed. Whenever we follow up via email or phone, we get no response. We have been referred to Desirae by two Sterling ASI employees, as shes apparently the one who handles the amenity center applications, but we have never heard anything from her. She has never responded to any emails and the call center says that shes unavailable.

This lack of communication and fairness raises serious concerns about their leadership and the overall management of the community.Additionally, they often make promises about improving the community, such as fixing the facades and the pond, yet these issues remain unaddressed. Instead, their focus seems to be solely on parking regulations, neglecting the actual improvements that would enhance our living environment.Living here does not provide comfort, as you’re always on edge with their unpredictable actions and attitudes. They seem more concerned with how they can inconvenience residents rather than allowing everyone to live in peace. If youre considering moving here, I would advise caution. The current HOA leadership creates a stressful atmosphere that is disappointing for our community.

Work and money has been tight. We fell behind in our HOA fees. I contacted Sterlinig and spoke with our subdivision manager Melissa and she was just awesome. She responded back so quickly and knocked off some charges to make it where I was able to take care of the fees. She was very kind and didnt make me feel bad because we were behind in paying. I cant thank her enough for what she did for us. She took away some financial stress and I am very grateful to her for that.

Very easy to to contact to ask questions and get information. I used the chat feature and Azalea responded quickly and efficiently and sent what I needed directly to my email address so I didnt have to search around the website. That experience was 5 stars but overall I gave 3 stars because while the community is very nice, I think the pool should really be open more than 20% of the year in a place like Houston. Our assumption of living in a community with a pool when its at least 70 degrees and sunny 9 months out of the year is that wed be able to use it at least half the year. Also there are some sidewalks to easily navigate the community within sections but no safe way to walk between sections, almost no cross walks or sidewalks along and across main roads which also makes it harder to safely get to playgrounds from all sections.

I am very frustrated by the customer service I am having. I have been sending several emails regarding my pool key not working. I am writing this review to bring attention on an ongoing issue regarding the pool key I recently purchased. Despite acquiring a new key for $60, it appears to be faulty and does not grant access to the pool as expected. Additionally, I have reached out via email multiple times seeking assistance on this matter but have not received any responses.As a resident of over four years who rarely requests a new key, I am disappointed by the lack of maintenance in the Bristol Lakes location, particularly the broken fences affecting privacy. I am very disgusted at the phone call I just left by the name of Michelle Sabbath. After receiving an email from Michelle, I reached out in regards to the email and tried to get more information as to how to rectify my issue with my hoa fees. I was dismissed and told I shouldve paid them even after I explained that I was going through a hardship which included medical bills and the kidnapping of my son. Michelle dismissed the conversation and basically told me everyone goes through things and I shouldve paid when I was supposed to. I always pay my bills however this year has been hard from July to March which is why I am able to pay and which is why I requested the fees to be waived as a courtesy for always paying on time. Again, I was truly disgusted at how she handled the conversation with no empathy whatsoever. I am surprised that Sterling would employ let alone allow someone with those characteristics to represent their company. I hope that this is addressed so that Michelle does not approach another homeowner attempting to rectify a situation like that again.
