The way they maintain their work sites is a clear sign of how poor their houses are built. The way they treat the neighborhood is a clear sign of how bad they are to work with on deals.Their job sites are consistently trashed, they park their equipment blocking sidewalks, and they create flooding issues because theyve blocked the ditches. As a company, if you put your name on the sign representing a property, then you are a partner. You and your partners share a reputation.

I wish y’all would care about the neighborhood y’all have been “planning” to build near. I have contacted y’all multiple times for months asking you to maintain your grass lot. We are trying to keep our neighborhood clean, it would be nice if y’all would help us by maintaining YOUR lot that has now turned into a trash dumping ground.

Buying a home can be a very daunting task and we have purchased more than once. I can say with conviction that our buying experience utilizing Breanna with CitiQuest has been the best experience out of all our purchases throughout the years. Breanna ensured that all of our concerns and needs were satisfied and was very knowledgeable. She was proactive and forthcoming with valuable information, often times prior to us asking or even thinking about it. 10 out 10!

IF I SEE ANOTHER SIGN IN MY YARD IM SUINGUpdate: 04/29 surveyors came out on a private property and left damage to the soilPeople who staple signs to telephone poles and crowd them at intersections, sidewalks, and esplanades aren’t only creating eyesores in neighborhoods, they’re breaking the law. We call these signs “bandit signs” and residents who see what they suspect to be bandit signs should report them to the City of Houston Department of Neighborhoods by calling the 3-1-1 Houston Service Helpline or using the Houston 3-1-1 mobile app. Violators are subject to a fine between $300 -$500, can be taken to court, as well as have a warrant issued for their arrest for breaking Chapter 28 of Houston’s code of ordinances. How to Identify a Bandit SignBandit signs are typically small and placed in large quantities along public spaces as esplanades. These signs include political, real estate, developer, and garage sale signs, etc.

Kaye is a true professional! She is experienced within her field of work and I could not have bought my first investment property without her. She attentively listened to all my wants and needs and found me a property I can utilize as an asset for my future. She impressed me with her expertise and make me feel supported through the entire process. To say I am pleased with my her work would be a major understatement!!

One of the most excellent realtor brokerages out there! I work with CitiQuest Properties daily and would not have it any other way!! I really enjoy the professionalism and knowledge that all agents possess within the brokerage. The homes produced and marketed are of high-quality standards and are also extremely beautiful! It is noticeable that each property and/or development is thoroughly thought out and produced to the highest standards. I very much recommend anyone to work with CitiQuest Properties, you will not be disappointed.

I have had the worst experience with Nick, an agent for this company. First and foremost, it has been over a week since I terminated my contract and I have not yet received my Earnest Money! The agent misinformed me on many things and in some cases, withheld information that I needed to know such as that I have the right to extend my option period, that a partial inspection has to be performed because there wasn’t a gas meter and just other things. I trusted him but he is apparently running a scam. I have reported this to TREC because I terminated my contract within the option period and my Earnest Money is due back to me.

Wendy Jimenez-Rodriguez, our Buyers Agent was great! She was always on top of things and making sure we were ready to go on to the next step. She was available at pretty much anytime for us, whether it be late at night, or on the weekends. Super friendly and super helpful! Would recommend her as an agent.Acacio at NJA homes, is a great guy and builds some nice homes! His selections team is picking some great finishes. He makes sure you are satisfied with your end product, and sticks around to help. The office experience when we went in and signed documents was nice, and the people we met with were all friendly, and stayed late for us.Some of the common complaints seem to be about listing/selling agents and development side of Citiquest. The listing/selling agents are a bit tougher, and aren’t going to be as nice as the buyers agents. They are there to make money for the agency, as well as for the developer, it’s a business after all. Citiquest could improve by making this side of the business more transparent, and have less developer “shadiness” going on. But honestly from what I researched, you’ll get this and see this with a lot of the Houston residential developers. I don’t think it’s a deal breaker at all. Just something you have to understand and know about. At least Citiquest uses good builders from what I’ve seen. The one good thing about this though, is that it makes a really easy, and pretty seamless transaction for a first time home buyer. As they can get info, and talk to each other quickly, and make decisions fast, between the buyer, seller, builder, and preferred lender. But overall, we’re happy with our first time home buying experience, and would recommend these guys.

Dawan was more than helpful in finding us an apartment in The Heights! My roommate and I wanted to tour as many apartments within our budget in one weekend and Dawan made that happen. He compiled a list, scheduled tours for the ones we were interested in and even joined us in all of our apartment tours. He was extremely honest, upfront, and was able to find us a great apartment that fit right in our price range! He was extremely communicative and easy to reach to answer any of our questions at all times. I would definitely recommend him to help with your apartment/house search!!

Dawan was amazing in helping my roommate and I find our apartment in The Heights. He was professional in discussing what we were looking for in an apartment as well as a price range before even beginning the search. He found exactly what we were looking for and better. He was with us through the whole process from finding apartments, scheduling tours and even attending the tours with us. He always knew the right things to say while touring, making sure we were getting all the right information. I highly recommend Dawan for your next apartment/house search!

Dawan has once again been an incredible help to me, this time helping my girlfriend and I find our perfect apartment. In these crazy times with prices for apartments changing every day, we didn’t think we’d be able to find anything we liked that fit within our budget. However, Dawan found not just one great option, but many. In the end, the only difficult part of this experience was picking which one we liked best. Dawan always puts his clients first and makes it his mission to find them the perfect home.

We had a terrible time with the Citiquest listing agent for the home we purchased. She was rude, noncompliant, uncommunicative, impersonal, and unprofessional. On multiple occasions she did not submit documentation to the lender, and our closing was moved multiple times (ours was not an isolated incident - other homeowners in our development reported the same level of incompetence). Additionally, she gave us dates to have a home inspector come by, and when we showed up for the inspection the house didn’t have appliances, a gas line, nor was the floor completed. A significant lack of professionalism and communication made buying a Citiquest property an awful experience.

Beautiful properties! Naturally, looking for a large outdoor space is not something to loom forward to for most of the properties, but with that in mind, there is plenty of space inside and they utilize great materials. If things work out, they will be a TOP 3 consideration.

Ive had a horrible experience dealing with Patrick and his team at Citiquest Realty and NJA Homes. Patrick is a partner with NJA homes, so he has every incentive to push every deal through the door, and cut costs to the detriment of the buyer. I signed a contract to purchase one of his homes at NJA. His website claims that they craft homes with high performance with versatile and flexible floor plans, but throughout the process they never provided any options, or specifications as per the contract. Once the home was completed, he rushed me to close with just a modest inspection from Trec inspector that takes 2 weeks to get a license with no prior experience. I told him that I had the home inspected by licensed HVAC, electrical, and plumber professionals. The results proved that the water pressure was not up to new home standards, and the HVAC was poorly designed. The walls and floor were not level in many areas, and many electrical components were not installed etc. I presented the findings to Patrick and he downplayed the findings and attempted to discredit the licensed professionals and pushed to get a low bar Trec inspection. Patrick is refusing to make the repairs, and is keeping my earnest monies. He offered me to sue him if I didnt like it. My experience is totally opposite of how Citiquest and NJA homes advertises their services. I do not recommend doing business with Patrick, Citiquest Realty, or NJA Homes. Do not agree to have your earnest money go to his company personally. Demand that it go to the title company, because he has refused to refund my money, even though he is refusing to make the repairs. The water in the master shower does not even reach the back of the shower, and Patrick states that is normal. Please hire licensed professionals to do your inspections, not Trec inspectors, because the licensed professions in their field of work, actually do this type of work on a daily basis. Thumbs way down for NJA HOMES, AND CITIQUEST REALTY

Stay away from this unethical company! We entered into a contract with them to buy a house in their new development in Stafford. 3 months after the contract signing and only 1 month before the expected closing, they terminated our contract without a reason. Most likely the project will change in hands in paper and they will go to market again with higher prices. What a shame they are losing their credibility to benefit from increasing prices. What a shame! I don’t wish anything good about this company and projects they represent!

Extremely disorganized. Takes days for them to respond to simple emails, phone calls, and their office seemed like a fly by night operation. Severely lacking any type of customer service. Works only with cheap builders who will rush you through the process for a quick close despite an unfinished product. Dont trust their fabricated FB reviews, do a little research online and you will find the real CitiQuest.

Final update(10/3/2019)There were no updates and not even any effortTo contact and resolve issueDont use them if you want any communication. If anything goes south than they wont come through to assist you or do any jobs.I know its business but they dont have much ethics nor manners for the clientUpdate 5 (9/11/19-1100am)NOTHING!! no effort from them to resolve any issues that they caused.even though, Im mad at this situation but I was willing to communicate and resolve an issues with them, but nobody not even Patrick will call me to resolve this problem.Response received in Google review (9/11/19 -1030am)Update 4: (9/6/19)few text messages between Patrick and I, but no phone calls as it promised...citiquest arent willing to do any communication with you.they dont call you to discuss any matter with you.just do things at their own convenience not the clients point of view.Update 3(8/31/19 1:30pm):Patrick called to discuss few point and apologize for the mistakes. Nothing is resolved yet.But I shall see if we can work stuff out and see.First thing will be key lock box code.** got the code around 330pmUpdate 2(8/31/19):No communication with client. Not even awful experience... no experience. If you want to do business with them be mindful that they might ignore you for their connivence or after they damage your property. All I just wanted to know progress of my property in real estate market, but I never received any progress report from my realtor as it was promised (wkly or mthly)I worked with Demetrice, he was good person and worker. I thought we connected on so many levels and I wanted to do more business with him but its so hard to get hold of him initially and all of sudden he started to ignore you.I dont know if he is just busy or just not in a mood of talking to you, or after he broken something after showing and all of sudden just ignores you.Patrick, I believe one of the cheif officer, but he got my listing from Demetrice (i dont know when patrick got my property. because no communication to me from citiquest, I even left message with receptionist yesterday 8/30 and 2 wks ago, you dont get a call nor email back)Only receptionist, said sorry because she remembered me calling last time and she couldnt believe that nobody in citiquest called. But good thing is I didnt sign any exclusive right to sell with them and my listing seems terminated with them.I asked if they are too busy, let me take my business elsewhere. But as realtor i guess they wont say “NO” and it came down to this ignorance and hatred.I dont think people are bad. But this place is LAZY or lacking communication or dont care about you if you dont pay them $$ or if you dont have $$.Im mad and sad.If any body in citiquest reads,Please call me, Im need to discuss things with yall.Update(8/30/19):Nobody is answering phone calls.Nobody is returning any phone calls that I left nor emails nor text messages.I want to communicate and resolve some issues but I cant talk to anybody.Old:Need the response asap. PleaseThey were great when I was buying a property but when Im trying to sell with them.... they are not... well so far they are not doing muchI have listing with them.... but not responding...I left message with the clerk and agent’s email txt and phone but got no luck to contacting them in 2-3 wksIll update this as we goFinal updateNo actions were taken from them and just feel like they took advantage of situation. It always personal choice of who you go withThey are good if everything goes well but they don’t have your back if thing doesn’t go accordingly ...Good luck people!
