We made the decision to go with Norhill Realty after our house had been on the market for five months. Our home was located in Cottage Grove near the Heights, which is a very desirable area. Mark has a really good grasp of the market - the price that he recommended for our listing was spot on and resulted in a timely offer that we were pleased with. I noticed that our house moved more quickly than other similar listings in our neighborhood. We also had a good experience on the purchase side. We did not have a clear idea of what we were looking for, Mark very patiently showed us many listings in multiple neighborhoods at multiple price points. Vincent helped us sell our townhouse in a transition neighborhood in early 2012. We thought it would take twice as long to sell our 6 year old townhouse because of the location but Vince and his team got us a signed deal in 2 short months. We soon became homeless because we hadnt found the perfect house yet. Vincent was able to convince a landlord to have his current tenants move out a month before their lease was up AND agree to a 3 month short term lease and allow our 3 DOGS to come with us. The day before we moved into the rental, we found a FSBO home in our favorite neighborhood. He worked with the homeowner and helped us get our perfect house. He coordinated inspections and follow-up walkthroughs with contractors so that we could start a kitchen renovation the day after closing (timing was imperative since we only had 3 months). Not a problem but when we contacted him he said there is no way I would have done that and my clients hated your property so we didnt even go in! Really? Not I dont think I did that but since I am in the area and I was the last one on the record at the property, I will be more than happy to swing by and make sure it is locked up and if you had photos but went to the property and then realized the photos were legit so you left? Just very rude to my wife when we called to inquire. I rarely leave comments but I just had to since he was so rude to my wife and MOTHER of five daughters on Mothers Day. Sad he has so much hate in his heart. I hope he finds peace.
