Brian & his team are a class act & I highly recommend them.I initially called Brian because I was considering selling my condo in the memorial area. He was immediately on top of things & was able to set me an appointment for later that week. He arrived on time and meticulously but expeditiously examined the entire property. Within just a few days he a complete report for me including comparable properties, flood plains, market trends and gave me his own personal recommendations.Expect a truthful & unbiased examination! He will NOT tell you what to hear but rather the reality of the situation positive or negative. At the end of the day isnt that why you called an appraiser? Brian, gave me & my family the direction needed to make wise decisions & I am thankful!

The absolute worst appraisal company ever! Their employee, J. Brian Banks, devalued my home by 70,000 dollars more than listing and even more than that according to comps. He compared my home to 3 homes that were more an 1000 sqft less than my home and one of them sold over a year ago. Comps are supposed to be COMPARABLE to the home being sold. Im filing a formal complaint against this company and this appraiser for racism because he mentioned the neighborhood. I live in the suburbs and in one of the best school districts in the Houston area not to mention my son was home when he did the appraisal, which is why race plays a factor. There is a whole special report done on appraisers who undervalue homes due to race and now I see it first hand. He didnt even measure my home correctly, off started initially by 300 sq ft and finally by about 100sq ft when he so called did a revision. His appraisal measurements do not match the past 3 measurements. This is awful service and an even more horrible experience. The buyer was devastated to say the least and this incorrect appraisal stays with the home for 4 months! AND the fact youre putting purchasing information about my home on the web is highly unethical because as you stated I am not your client and did not give you permission to release such information. The client was not happy and was confident per email received from your client (I have receipts) you botched the information and added your own personal feelings in the comments.

My home has always appraised in square footage at 2946 sq ft since 2007 and now this appraiser has it at 2828 sq ft after an amendment was requested. He originally had it at 2600 sq ft. You cant tell me you dont know how to complete measurements and youre great at your job. Not to mention he compared my home to a home that sold in 2018! I think the incompetence is spewing from this company. Then you find the first people of color to write reviews. What are you trying to prove?

I have worked with Brian on several appraisals, and he as always done a great job. Brian is extremely knowledgeable and is very familiar with the Houston market. Brian is always timely with his reports.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They are clearly incompetent and does not have and expertise in the area of appraisal.They have unethical business practices motivated and their appraisal are by racially biased. Mr Bank and his team at First Houston Aprraisal were very professional and courteous. He came by the house and did his inspection in a very professional manner.

The company sent 2 different people to Google to write reviews after my review posted. Unprofessional and liars! DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY BUSINESS THAT DOES THIS instead of actually doing your job correctly!

They have done numerous appraisals for us in the past and they have always been done in a timely and professional manner! Always accurate!
