Haven’t heard or had the chance to speak to her since I was in jail. I constantly call and don’t get any response. Other than a 72 hours she will reach out. Lakayla never reached out to me. I’ve been trying to call since I’ve been out of jail for three months. Also having a court date coming up and isn’t able to contact her after the court dates I’m supposed to consult with the attorney, but she never call us or answer when I call also not showing up to my court days or answering the phone or returning the calls. It’s really unacceptable

Horrible, horrible lawyer. I wish I could show how rude she is when called out. Only ever responded to me once I wrote a google review, but nothing for desperate phone calls and emails. Even afterwards, she was dismissive, compassionless and arrogant, blaming her mistakes on her staff. Why even be a lawyer?

A good lawyer. Was helpful with both my cases. One case was thrown out. The other resulted in 25 hours of community service. TYSM Ms. Fridie.

Not great at all. I told The attorney i wasnt able to see what was sent by the court and asked her to please email me the information but she never responded or se t the information. I was also told I need to take a defensive driving course but looks like it wasnt ordered. I was finally able to open and see what was asked of me by the court and the defense driving course isnt on there and of course Ive already completed the course. Extremely expensive for a speeding ticket. Cost me over $500 to get it off my record.

The lawyer did not care at all, I had to call, email and call again in order to get answers. She did the absolute bare minimum.

Ms. Fridie had my case for over 4 years and just sat on it and wouldnt file my motion. She never returned my calls for over two years and I only spoke with her receptionist, that is, if I could get through to someone. If I got their answering service, they probably never forward the messages. Ive even used their client portal and still didnt hear from her so I had to hire another attorney. When my new attorney reviewed my case, they said that the paperwork was wrong, and now since it was on record, I will never get relief. Due to her laziness and incompetence, I have lost my case even before I went to trial. She owes me my life and $5000.00! She needs to be disbarred!

The worst. She did not fight for my case like she could have. I found out through another lawyer (which I had to get another one because it got to a point that I was calling every day & she never returned my calls nor sent me the information that she said she would send that I needed in order to appeal my case) that a situation could have been appealed but the deadline was up. She never called me with options to help, I would always have to call her and when I would, a receptionist would tell me she would get back to me and she never would. I would not recommend her to anyone. Even when I got the decision about my situation prior to trying to appeal, I found out in a letter weeks later, she never gave me any information regarding my hearing. I felt that she could have done more & I was very unsatisfied & disappointed in her services.

No return phone calls. Thinking about filing a complaint with the bar association. ] If Im paying you for a service I expect to receive that service.Update: This was a dead issue but since you want to continue the conversation 4 years later, lets do it as I remember it like it was yesterday. You completely dropped the ball. I initially reached out to you via my legal protection plan, gave you all the details and filled out YOUR form with appropriatedetails and dates, and you said you would follow-up on whether or not I needed to appear or if you would appear on my behalf. I NEVER heard back from you about my case until AFTER I put this review and AFTER my court date had already passed and a warrant was out for my arrest. Now, granted, I should have went ahead and showed up to court myself, absent the counsel that I previously retained (YOU). Thats my bad as I foolishly put my trust in someone who was supposed to be a representative of the people. Anyway, warrant and several fees later...I got this handled...on my own. You should not be in business at all. My experience with you amounted to gross negligence and harm in the form of a warrant issued for my arrest and several levied fees. And how validating that you are still receiving horrible reviews 4 years later. Thats very telling...Be blessed

Within about two weeks of having Fridie Law on my case it was dismissed! I had a lawyer previous to this who did not want to help at all and told me that I wouldn’t get any better outcome. If you want your case taken care of professionally and in a timely manner I highly suggest Fridie Law.

I was in car accident and had suffered some knee and neck injuries because of the crash. I had lots of troubles trying to settle with the Insurance Company directly, so I decided to get in contact with a law firm. At first I had a bad experience with a previous attorney I had hired a different place. So I had done lots of research, before hiring Fridie Law, PLLC and I cannot describe how satisfied I am about the way Lakayla Fridie handled my case. First, the she handled the clients is top class; they always return phone calls and messages. Lakayla is a very professional young lawyer who is very honest and knowledgeable. One of my friends made very good remarks about the content of the letter that she put together for the Insurance proposal. What really impressed me is the way she described my personality, in particular the details about the way I lived my life before and after the accident. It was like if she knew me for a lifetime! It was very impressing how well she caught those details! She is also very caring and a good listener and kept me positive during the most negative times of my life. I have to say I will always consider her a friend for all the support given to me and the practical help, by contacting all my debtors so I could concentrate on getting treatment and healing. It also turned out in the end that the amount requested is going to be much higher than what expected, so I cannot really ask for more! I highly recommend this law firm.

This review is in no way an attack on the attorneys character or professionalism. I hired her because I had a minor traffic violation out of the city of Sugar Land. I hired the attorney out of inexperience and not knowing what the outcome of having a traffic ticket would be. I learned that you do not need to hire an attorney for a minor traffic violation (out of Sugarland) and the outcome would be the exact same as someone who doesnt have an attorney. I was given 6 months probation & within that period I cant receive any new violations. At the end of the 6 months the charges would be completely dropped. This is the exact same offer the judge gave to everyone else (including those who did not have attorneys) I feel like I wasted my money because I am still responsible for the court fine & fees of close to $596 and on top of that I paid the attorney her attorney fee. I wish the attorney would have advised me of not needing an attorney for such a minor offense but of course business is business. There were a few communication issues in the beginning but the attorney was quick to resolve them.

She was nice. But she didnt help do anything for my speeding ticket that I wouldnt have been able to do myself without a lawyer. I wish I hadnt wasted $100 to hire her, only to turn around and have to pay a huge fee anyway. Guess now I know.

I would give a zero if I could, this place is so unprofessional! Youre a priority till they get your money then good luck! You have to call them for updates, when you do call its always the same, Oh, shell call you back and hardly ever does. When they do call back their answer is theyre always waiting on something. Paid them off Feb of 2018 still waiting on something. probably die before they do anything! Save your time and money and go somewhere else!

I wish I could rate 0 stars. This place is HORRIBLE. Noone is ever available and they always take your name and number down, but noone calls back. We havent gotten a call back in 4 months! We cant ever get any updates on our case.

I understand that texas laws are tough but thats why u get a lawyer that should be tough& upfront I paid $ 1200 dollars at first she couldnt get an answer ok fine& she never called me when she didnt I called her office for a years no reply finally I stop by only to find out she sent a letter a year ago to some address I no longer lived at WITH the news that she couldnt help me even tho Im still innocent & fighting because I was forced to accept a case or else by crooked prosecutors & & 1200 dollars short that I could have spent on a lawyer THAT was gonna try to do what I needed if U SMART get somebody else that has your best interest at heart this is one lawyer THAT just dont understand what a lawyers job really is sorryI liked her a lot to thats my bad.

Never answers calls and takes days, sometimes weeks to call back. I’ve had to call in twice just to get an answer about how my hearing for my ticket went TEN days ago. No idea how this business stays viable.

The worst. Just took my money and would not return calls. Took 3 years to tell me could not help. Run any other way but there
