John W. Mikus, Attorney at Law

I paid Mr. Mikus over a year ago and the only thing he has done is draft an Affidavit which I was then responsible for filing with the court. I asked him at least 5 months ago to prepare a Demand Letter and I have yet to receive it. He no longer answers my phone calls, so I guess I am out the money I paid him because the Affidavit was a small part of what we agreed he would do. Mr. Mikus DOES NOT take pride in his work because, if he did, he wouldnt be collecting money for services he has no intention of providing. I am a widow of 14 months and I hired him within 2 months of losing my husband and all he has done is take advantage of a person already going through a difficult time.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!!Most unprofessional associate ever. He is either forgetful, takes bad notes, or just ignores the most important answers to his own questions. Took my money 4 months ago, just to talk to the wall and got absolutely nowhere with this guy.

I would never recommend for child custody issues. This man is very outdated in his methods. Did not return calls in a timely manor and very forgetful and arrives to court unprepared.We had recordings and pictures of evidence against my grandchild’s father of abuse and neglect. This attorney had us print copies of the pictures and copy recordings on thumb drives and didn’t inform us until after the court date that these items were inadmissible, which turned out to be a crock because we later used the same photos & recordings and were in fact admitted into as evidence.This attorney does not tell you what to expect, you just end up blind sided in mediation and/or in court.

You get what you pay for. This is a clown head dispensing drive thru legal service. If your issue is very important to you, then please find someone else, if after reading these bad comments, you still retain him, your are a 🔧

Mr. Mikus was very professional and highly knowledgeable in helping me through the entire probate process. I recommend him to anyone seeking a lawyer to assist with real estate issues.

Just dont. The guy doesnt know what he is doing. He produces sloppy work. Legal documents that have typos, missing deadlines, and overall being not that professional.

Horrible. He doesnt really seem to know what he is doing.Unresponsive to messages and calls. Dont hire him for legal services.

He was rude upon answering the call. Yelled at me. He wouldnt listen to my request.
