I worked with Andrea Sanchez regarding a new build purchase recently. Andrea was professional and insightful throughout the entire process, from meeting with the builder through closing. I have never purchased a new build home so she was particularly helpful regarding letting us know what to expect during the process. She also gave us good tips regarding upgrades, etc. when we met with the builder to select what we wanted. I never had to wonder what was happening because Andrea stayed on top of everything and communicated any information I needed to know. We had a brief issue with the closing date. Andrea immediately reached out to find out what the issue was and help resolve it quickly, which alleviated my stress-level. We moved from California to Texas and Porcha was critical in the process. First she worked to help us find a house and completed video tours. She would find things that weren’t obvious and point them out to us such as an oddly mismatched kitchen cabinet. When we eventually found the house we really wanted she did a market analysis and helped us put together a competitive build. We were able to close on the house completely remotely. I didn’t have to step foot in Texas before the move. She was able to set up much needed maintenance on the AC system before we moved, she let techs in multiple times, so our AC is ready to go and we don’t have to deal with that. My house hunting journey started in December of 2020 and my wife and I went with a other realtor prior to choosing Andrea Sanchez from Movemetotexas. The first realtor we had did not provide the services or help we were seeking which lead us to search for a other agent in May 2021. I first came across a YouTube video made by the Movemetotexas team that provided great insight to the Houston Real Estate Market at the time, which led me to contact them for their services. I spoke with Andrea Sanchez during the initial interview who we decided to proceed with. Andrea made the bitter experience we had prior quickly forgotten. On day one we provided Andrea with our budget and area we preferred living in and she quickly got to work providing builders and new subdivisions within her network for us to review. Within the same week my wife was able to view floor plans with her once we came to a decision. Andrea also had many connections with referring us to for pre approval and assistance in choosing the best home insurance. The people she referred us to also helped with a smooth transition throughout the whole process. Due to my work I was not able to attend many meetings with my wife during the construction of our house and Andrea was able to attend in my place. Any information or request made by the builder or loan processor from me was handled by Andrea in a quickly manner. I wish I could give Katie 10 stars. She made a difficult, out-of-state sale possible and as painless as she could. She always made time to go check on stuff at the house, have someone there to meet vendors, and communicated consistently throughout the process. Two face company. Does great with shmoozing you. Tons of positivity and good vibes but when it comes to the actual closing paperwork, they fall horrendously short. But after the sale all that positivity is long gone. Wont lift a finger to correct issues they caused by lack of thoroughness. Its the lack of morality to fix issues they caused that really gets to me with these people.

Everything started out great, personable and all but in the end this team left out important paperwork and left me in a conflict with tenants over appliance ownership.When you hire a real-estate agent you are trusting and paying them to make sure they catch all the contract language and addendums that are needed to ensure a smooth purchase this team failed to do so.Worse yet they admitted this to me personally (not in writing of course) but didnt have the honor or integrity to even attempt to make their mistake their mistake right.The correction would have been less than $500 but they have zero sense of personal responsibility. Once they get paid they are done with you and will leave you holding the bag and dealing with what ever mess they caused.
