Furnished Homes near MDAnderson

Our family rented a house from Van and Helen while our son was hospitalized and then recovering from a spinal cord injury. Being able to find a fully furnished home so close to the Medical Center was a blessing and made a difficult time more bearable. The homes are all in the same neighborhood where Van and Helen live, so they were available and happy to help with anything we needed. The home had extra space for our other kids to visit comfortably and was private with fencing and a security gate. The location was convenient for the hospital, doctor visits and shopping/food. Was a great alternative to hotels or apartments and became our temporary home away from home.

My wife and I rented a home from Van and Helen for several months for treatment at MD Anderson. The home and grounds were immaculately maintained. The location could not have been more convenient for treatment, shopping and restaurants. If I had to rate the best part of our stay, it was Van and Helen. We traveled over a 1000 miles for treatment and they made us feel as if we were home. Thanks Van and Helen,

I reserved Roseway for my son and I for a stem cell transplant he received at MD Anderson. Life becomes total chaos when your child (25 yo adult child) has cancer-but Helen and Van made it so easy for us. We were allowed to have his pets with us which made a huge difference to my sons emotional state and recovery. Super clean house, super close to MD Anderson and lots of good places to eat. The house has everything you need, and I felt totally safe and secure in the neighborhood and in the home when I was there alone. Can’t say enough about my experience with Van and Helen and I appreciate them offering short term housing to families in need. 5 Stars hands down!

We rented a great place from Van amd Helen while my husband was getting treatment at MD Anderson. So clean and homey. Had everything we needed to cook, relax and unwind. Would definitely stay again! Great experience!

My wife and I stayed at 4109 Lymbar Dr. For 2 months while she was getting chemo treatment at MD Anderson Hospital. This house was a very nice alternative to a hotel. The neighborhood was friendly, clean and safe. I took many evening dog walks there. The house is well maintained and the private backyard was a real plus. Conveniently located to many amenities in the southwest quarter of Houston. 👍🏼

We recently began our relocation to Texas from overseas. Not knowing the area, we began a desperate search for corporate housing to make all the administration easier as we looked for a home.Van and Helen and their host of houses under Medical Center Housing made the beginning or our transition incredibly easy. For 2 weeks, my oldest daughter and I spent most of our time running around Houston conducting the administration that comes with moving to a new state. Each day Van or Helen checked in on us to ensure we had what we needed.Our location on Rose Way was perfectly set up for us. Internet, fully stocked kitchen and even someone taking care of the landscaping. The location was secure and made it easy for us to get to each side of the city.Larger corporate housing staff should take a class from Van and Hellen.

Van & Helen were wonderful to work with. They each went above & beyond to assist in every possible way. Van grew up in the area & had great recommendations. When My husband found out he had cancer, it was a blur. Knowing MD Anderson was the place he needed to be & time was of the essence. Their place was such a blessing. House was everything we needed! Close to MD Anderson, fenced in yard & gated, every amenity, restaurants, pharmacy & groceries within 1 & 1/2 miles. They live pretty much next door. Nice little secluded area. Returned our deposit & cleaning fee. 10/10 Highly recommend.

We stayed at one of MedCenterHome’s properties from April 14th through July 13th. My previous spouse had cancer and we needed to be close to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, but wanted space, with private bedrooms gor family to visit, space to cook our own meals (to save money), good internet since I was teleworking, and a pleasant view since the situation itself was stressful enough. The home was perfect. All the comforts of home, and the best and most thoughtful hosts you could ask for. They were great communicators leading up to our stay, stayed in touch during our stay making sure everything was alright, and even were quick to respond two months after our stay when we needed invoices for our stay.I hope we don’t need to go back to Houston for the same reason we were there this time. But if I need to go back for any stay of three months or longer, I’ll be checking in with MedCenterHome!!

My wife and I have stayed at one of Vans & Helens homes for over a year and a half. Our home is tastefully decorated and well supplied with all extra needed accessories like dishes, pot & pans, silverware and towels. Everything you need is there when you move in. Just bring your clothes and enjoy.But what makes the experience great it just how personal both Van and Helen treat us and their desire to make anything you need is always available upon request. Even when you dont need anything theyre asking if you do.Just like any restaurant when I eat at a nice place they all have great food. But youre desire to come back is often based on how the staff treats you. Van & Helen should have their pictures in the dictionary next to customer service.You will NEVER regret staying in one of their homes.TK & ChazP.S. Very safe and secure housing with great people as owners to work with. Close to all conviences and MD Anderson hospital. We highly recommend this housing. Actually felt like home during our stay in Houston.

Great experience, super clean house and nicely decorated with all the essentials including attached garage, & fenced yard. We were relocating to Houston during the covid19 quarantine and appreciated being able to walk around the neighborhood in the evenings. Quite friendly neighborhood with a community park. Located near to shopping, Herman Park, Buffalo Bayou & Memorial Park. Highly recommend.

This place is an excellent, clean, safe, convenient place to stay. I can’t say enough good things about my experience at this location or Helen. She is kind and professional. The location is gated with covered parking; it has a full kitchen with everything you need, and a clean bathroom. I am a very particular person and Helen’s location exceeded my expectations. I stayed at this location for 3.5 months and had zero complaints. A++

My stay at the property was perfect! Very clean and comfortable and in a safe area. The landlord was easy to contact with any issues we had while there. I would highly recommend renting from them.
