I recently had the pleasure of staying at this Homewood Suites, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From the moment I checked in, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and stress-free. Their warmth and professionalism set the tone for an excellent visit.The room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with all the amenities I needed, including a fully equipped kitchenette. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere that allowed for a restful night’s sleep.The complimentary breakfast was a highlight—plenty of delicious options to start the day off right. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Homewood Suites Houston NW and I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The customer service was AMAZING!!! The three front desk hosts I interacted with were all friendly and helpful.Buttttttt.....the cleanliness of some things in my room was the problem for me.The shower floor was DIRTY! And I spotted hair in different places in the bathroom and by the sink. There was a stain on one of the bath towels that made it seem like it was not clean. The wash rag for the dishes had so many stains on it. There wasnt any liquid dish detergent. They had a pot and pan but they were both big. One of the plates still had something on it. I felt everything was unclean at a certain point.

First, the room was great. It was nice and clean, beds were comfy, water heat up nicely, AC cold, heater hot, full size fridge is always nice.I intentionally picked this style hotel so I can do the dish with the dishwasher, however, it wasn’t working.Another thing that made me choose this over the others were the breakfast taco bars from the other review. Which are not there on this New Year morning. The breakfast was rather meh.If you don’t care much about those items, it’d be a much better experience but for me it was rather disappointing

I stayed here for ten days, Janet the house keeping manager was very kind but some of her house keeping staff was not friendly one them almost hit me coming off the elevator.when I look her she just rolled her eyes at and the elevator door hit me,the toilet in my room had stains of old urine the seat was so bad it need to be replaced! I was told that it be replaced but never was,I ask for towels from the housekeeping guy and told that the towels were for the guests that was checking out and I had to go downstairs with one elevator working in the whole building the poor guy at the front was on crutches had give me towels. He and Devin offered to give me points for bad stay ,my husband was told he couldnt breakfast by a rude lady in staff, that most of the week I had she was not pleasant ,I clean my table on order eat breakfast when I was there. Over it is a pretty hotel but house keeping staff needs to be replaced or put on notice. My family came here for Christmas and a funeral

During the afternoon I experience approaching my hotel room and the door wasn’t properly closed. I’m not sure if house keeping or the front desk did not properly close door but it was one of them or someone other then the authorize person on the room. I was nervous and scared as I walked in the room. I had to look around to make sure no one was in there for my safety. As this resort in me having anxiety and stress of fear. Also as I looked around in the room. I noticed the three room keys I had on the lamp that’s by the sitting table/desk were missing. I had called the front desk, told the lady at the front desk that’s dangerous and what if I had electronics or important things in the room. The lady responded with she will let housekeeper know to make sure that doesn’t happen again. That is unacceptable, dangerous and shouldn’t have not happened. The front desk lady said she can give me new room keys and deactivated the ones that were taken from the room without permission. I then got off the phone with her and went down stairs. She gave the room keys back and they look like the same ones I had in the room that was taken. It doesn’t seem like I received new room keys and the old ones were deactivated. That is very weird/unacceptable to take room keys out a room that’s active in the system of use and without permission of person authorize on room. Housekeeping half way clean the room(they do not properly clean the room), they don’t replace supplies or things needed in the room. I called for a week to have housekeeping vacuum and mop the floors as I was staying at the hotel for around a month. They never vacuum or mop when I asked the whole time I stayed at the hotel. There were an accident stain on one of the bed sheets. The stain was noticeable. Instead of house keeping changing the sheets. They made the bed with the stain on the sheets. I had to take the sheets off the bed with hopes of them getting new sheets. Every time you tell them what you need from them, they do not do it. This resort in me leaving the hotel earlier than what I attended to. As I didn’t feel safe with the staff making unsafe choices not properly closing my room door, missing room keys and house keeping not cleaning properly and replacing used things.

This place is truly a gem. Soon as I walked in, I knew I made a great choice. Shawn was kind and professional and got me checked in quickly, and followed up to make sure all was well. Avi, the night auditor helped with additional info I needed later on, and although I didnt catch his name, the 7-3pm front desk agent was empathetic with my situation this afternoon. Those employees are the superstars of this location.

Had a bad stay. As a Hilton Honors Gold member, was expecting the complementary water bottles in my room already. But, none were present.Hot water shower was at Luke warm to say the least.Breakfast was the usual and nothing hot & vegetarian was available.Just stayed briefly from 11:30 pm - 7:20 am next day. Overall, very disappointed with the stay after paying ~$200 per night

The room door did not automatically close. Workers repaired the closet rod, but failed to close the door. We returned from dinner to find our room open. Bathroom has mold growing on the door and wall. Hallways needed a good vacuuming and shampoo. No room safe.

I’ve stayed at this location several times and for the most part it’s a nice hotel. The rooms come with stove top so you can cook. This is a huge plus, as it allows you to cook in and not spend tons of money on fast food. The breakfast is decent and the staff members are friendly. However the second shift Hispanic woman who works the front desk could care less about what is going on. If you bring something to her attention she says oh sorry to hear that, then just stares like now what do you want me to do. I checked into my room and it had not been cleaned properly. There was hair from a man shaving in the sink, on the counter and on the hand towels. I simply asked for the room to be cleaned so I would not have to change rooms. When I came back the room still had not been cleaned. I went to the front desk the same employee said she was not sure if it was cleaned or not. Then asked well do you have a man in the room with you. Ma’am if the hair was from me or a man that was with me. I wouldn’t be at the desk asking you why it was not cleaned. When I checked out of my stay today I left my Vera Bradley lunch box. I called a few moments ago to see if it was bought to the front desk or if it could be retrieved from the room. She told me oh they don’t keep things like that. I’m sorry but if a guest leaves something behind you would think they would hold on to it for a few days in case the guest comes back for it. It was some body wash or lotion I could see that being tossed. All in all it’s a decent hotel and the night shift girl with the reddish orange hair is AMAZING. She’s always so pleasant and helpful.

Horrific experience! This is a good hotel until something goes wrong. At that point, if you are expecting customer service or empathy you will wish you stayed anywhere else.My husband was attacked in the restroom of the lobby by another guest. We dont know if he was on drugs or just crazy but he kicked in the door of the stall my husband was sitting in. When my husband was able to get away from him he went to the desk, where the other guest continued to threaten my husband. No calls to the police, no de-escalation. It was almost like the workers are used to this type of thing.No one from management called to check on my husband despite requests for calls. The front office was apathetic along with corporate. This is not the kind of company we would support. I did receive an email 3 weeks later when I once again requested a response. My daughter stays at Hilton for water polo tournaments and we needed to know if she would be safe if she went alone-She would not be is the message we received.*this particular location has a contract with a door-to-door sales company; of which the aggressive guest is an employee of. Maybe this guy was a one off, but the apathy of the staff makes it seem like this is a common occurrence.

Pros: nice sized rooms with large fridge/freezer, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. Location was great for what we needed. Friendly staff. Not a very active stay, so hallways were quiet as well. Pool area is stunning and i imagine would be fantastic in warmer weather. Overall appearance of the hotel is really nice.Cons: lots of pet hair, several things (microwave, remote, some dishes, lamps, and bedside tables) not cleaned at all (dusty or crusted with leftover food). One light burned out, one flickered nonstop. First key didnt work, so was changed from 2nd to 1st floor at check in. Most of the treadmills in the gym didnt work, the tv didnt work for 4 days, walls are thin enough to hear neighbors phones getting notifications, and there was no hot water the duration of the stay.Nothing was so bad as to be a dealbreaker, just oversight/stuff happens kind of deal (at least to us).However-an employee who we had not seen or spoken with previously saw my husband (who to all appearances was just a man in a hoodie, not holding a key card or phone) standing outside our door and simply swiped his master key without asking or verifying that it was his room or someone agreed to let him in. My husband said they never exchanged a single word, he just saw an arm reach past him to unlock the door he happened to be standing by.While this was obviously fine in this situation (since it was his room, and if it hadnt been i also had the deadbolt locked so i still had to let him in), i do advise anyone travelling alone especially to remember to lock the WHOLE door.

I am very disappointed in my familys stay for the week of Thanksgiving. There were multiple issues throughout the stay, and you can tell that some of the staff did not care. I have been a dedicated Hilton honors member, and I have highly encouraged the brand, but this was a significantly disappointing stay.There was a soccer team or similar type of team that was staying at the hotel, and they were out of control. They were left unsupervised and ran crazy at various times at the hotel. They made noise at all times of the day, but the most problematic was the late nights playing in hallways until 2 and 3 am. The manager attempted to say stuff to the kids, but we felt nothing was done.We had multiple issues with house cleaning not addressing the rooms needs with cleaning and restocking. When i would go down to handle it, the person made me feel like i was dumb and i was a bother to them.Our room has some outlet issues, including our dishwasher was inoperable.Overall, the vibe given by the staff was not the same as other stays but also from my many trips to the Houston area.I hope this is not the new vision of the Hilton and that this was just a lousy-luck-type deal.

The hotel is fine, but a handful of things I would change are as follows:1. The breakfast was fairly sad. If you dont get there right when they put stuff out, you might not get what you want. If you come 30 to 60 minutes before the end of breakfast, you will be lucky to get anything as they dont restock things they run out of.2. Apparently, there are capet beetles here. I had no idea what that was, but when I found some, I thought they were bed bugs, and I freaked out until I Google image searched them. Thankfully, they were not bed bugs.3. Our shower and kitchen sink hot water did not really work. In order to wash baby bottles or give the baby a bath, I had to boil water to add to the luke warmish water that came out of the tap.4. Our room was clearly not cleaned. There was food left in the cupboards, hair on the floor in the bathroom, and a few other gross things we found from our little one crawling around.(Not a huge deal but worthy of a mention)5. We have always been treated well, being diamond members at other establishments, but no one thanked us for being diamond members here. We asked for a couple of extra blankets as there are 6 of us in our family and like different temperatures and were told they didnt have extra blankets. Everyone could only have 1. They did eventually bring one extra blanket.6. The pool is not heated. Maybe I am just used to other places I stay at, but this pool was freezing cold!All in all, the staff was friendly and kind. It just isnt the Hilton experience we are used to. We travel a ton for my husbands cancer treatments and have stayed in many different places, so Hilton is usually our go-to.

As a family of 5 the room was incredible..clean and very spacious..breakfast was included and each day it was different. The food was amazing. The staff is amazing and very friendly. This was by far one of the best hotel stays weve had in a long time. From check in to check out we were very pleased. Ms Carla was very helpful and kind during our check in. Not sure what the young lady who checked us out name is but she was awesome also. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good. I liked that there were towels by pool to use instead of towels from room. I was greatly appreciative of the fact they allowed us to let our kids swim in pool a little more after check out. We were just taking the kids out for a hotel stay with a pool and now we have a go to only 45 mins away.

We booked a room an come to find out the a/c does not work. We request help and the front desk tell us nobody works on the weekends but they will get us fans. We waited patiently for 24 hours for fans or a fix, we get neither. We are told they would switch our room, of course; come back to the front desk after a days work, no room change. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TO STAY HERE AND THEY DO NOT WASTE THERE TIME TO HELP YOU

Rooms were clean, newer. Cute pool area. Breakfast was decent, nothing fancy, and gets old after having it more than 2 days in a row, though. Where my complaints were are communication... I feel like we had to go round and round with different people when all that had to be done is to have their management talk or relay the message that was told/discussed with us. Didnt have any major problems though, we asked to move down to the 1st floor for our 2nd week of our stay, and they did that for us, that room did not cool down properly but our 1st room was nice and cool 😎. Overall, good stay!

I like this location a lot and I’ve stayed here multiple times when I come to visit relatives. Always nice and clean and cozy. Breakfast is always good. One issue: this last time Chrismas 2023 and New Years 2024 these was this weird aggressive little homeless dude that kept hanging around the hotel and sleeping in common areas on couches. Bro got aggressive with me because I said I don’t have money for him. Had to show him I had something nasty for him so he would go away. I don’t feel like wrestling with someone who will give me scabies. Make sure you’re packin.

The hotel is very nice, rooms are clean and well appointed with great amenities. Nice pool and workout area. The truly outstanding feature of this hotel is its staff. Everyone, from the Front Desk to Maintenance, and Housekeeping staff members were just wonderful! I have to say though, that Ellis, at the Front Desk is an Angel! I had to put my tenants from my rental house up at this hotel while renovations were being done on the property. One of my tenants experienced a mental health crisis on the day of checkout and wouldn’t open the door for us to load her things in the car. I had no idea what to do. Ellis handled this situation with professionalism, ease, and most of all kindness and compassion. He explained that he had previously had a good friend with a mental illness and that he totally understood and that I shouldn’t worry. He went over and above to help handle this and I will never forget his kindness.

We were staying at the hotel with a sports team and the power went out due to the storms in the area. Robert the manager went above and beyond to help people get into their rooms even without electricity. Our entire stay, the staff there was very attentive to everyones requests and super friendly. The hotel was clean and our group had a cookout on the patio which was so fun. We have already booked another reservation at this hotel and this will be our preferred place when in Houston.

We found fresh looking blood stains on one of the beds. It was on the pillowcase and sheets. We also found loose hair in the bathroom floor. The hallways were stuffy & had a strange smell. We also saw a roach in the hallway first thing upon arrival. Because of this, we did not feel like the hotel was adequately cleaned. The room also never cooled off to a comfortable temperature while we were there. This made trying to sleep in an extremely warm room very difficult.

There is a constant smell of marijuana in the hotel. The room we stayed in was very dirty. We had to keep our socks on and after some hours the socks were black at the bottom. The room had a bad smell to it. And the also have roaches. We tried to go wash once and all the washers had some clothes in them. And the washers and dryers were very dirty. I would not recommend a family to stay there. The water pressure from the shower is very low. The bed sheets are stained with some holes in them.

This hotel was in the perfect spot for a Thanksgiving visit with family. The breakfast was decent quality and the staff was very nice. Our room was clean and everything was in good shape. The pool is nice too but not heated. However, basic wifi was a little slow and the outside amenities need better maintenance.

Decent hotel for location, tends to be pricier than some others in general area but we stay here often because it’s so close to family in a nearby neighborhood.During our thanksgiving 2022 stay - the water pressure and temperature were very poor (very lukewarm, barely any water pressure) which was a bit disappointing, since we also pick this one since it’s a much newer building.There was a noticeably stained chair in the room that should have been cleaned better, or replaced. We didn’t have much down time in the room this time, so it didn’t matter much, but it did make us question how well the rest of the room was cleaned.

The Front Desk staff were Great but the housekeeping department was beyond terrible. Throughout the stay, I continued to find evidence that our room had not been cleaned and that not only did the bed sheets not fit the bed, at the end of our stay, I discovered those sheets had not been washed before we arrived. Also, I reserved this room using Hiltons website and had to choose 2 adults & 2 kids; so, logic should tell housekeeping that at least 4 sets of towels & 4 sets of kitchen items such dishes & glasses are needed but I guess logic doesnt apply, there were only 2 sets of towels, no bathroom floor towel, no sheets for the sofa bed, & not enough dishes/cups for 4 people. I cannot explain just how bad the housekeeping is at this hotel. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone and would never even consider staying here again. Its too bad the front desk staff that tried to help us couldnt work for a compotent management team because they deserve better.

Our budget was smaller than rooms available, but Mr. Authorlee saw our fatigue and set us up in a beautiful room and was very kind and fair with us!! I’ve stayed here twice and this time I was disappointed. I was I my staying two night but after the first night I had to change rooms due to not being able to shower. I was given an upgraded room however which was nice an unexpected. The only concern I have is staining on some of the furniture that needs to be addressed. I really like the Hilton Brand of Hotels and plan on coming back because the staff here is exceptional.

Worst Homewood Suites Experience one of the worst Hilton Properties.The staff was nice but failed to please many times. 3 days with no waffle batter, soupy oatmeal with no toppings, no tea bags, same eggs 3 days in a row, and lots of other missing breakfast items - worst Hilton Breakfast ever!Out of towels, very late room service,....Positives are nice rooms and OK location. Negatives dont make up for the positives.If you want a good experience dont go here.

This hotel really made me feel like it was my own apartment. the facility was clean, the room was clean, clean sheets, clean towels. The pool stayed opened late (loved that) the staff was very friendly. The entire staff! I know they was ready for me to leave when I did lol😂 I was one of those aggravating guests. Only because I stayed there for almost 2 weeks due to hurricane Ida. They were able to house my family and I. The breakfast was good and I absolutely loved the Evening Happy Hour thing they did. sucks it was only Monday-Wednesday, but overall it was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Thank you all for making us feel welcomed. This was the 4th hotel we had stayed in since evacuating and the best! Will definitely be back in the near future, my heart is now set on moving out there ❤️

Love pet friendly hotels and this is one of them. Cant leave home with out My Little Girl. Spacious rooms and the room is equipped with all you need. Quiet place to get away and relax (even when there is a soccer squad of teenager boys with family running amuck). Warm breakfast is free and so is wifi. I would recommend staying here and plan to do so again.

Stayed 5 nights for a trip. Beautiful and comfortable room with small kitchenette and lots of room to work and relax. Pool is warm, if not as clean as would be preferred. Ok breakfast choices, better social hour choices. The best thing is the staff. Housekeeping can come very late but they do a great job. Every single person is so warm and eager to help. Special recognition for Ari and Delano but everyone made us feel like family. I would have expected to pay much higher than this rate.

Many things to say about this location. Mostly bad. We stayed here for 3 weeks, so I feel more than qualified to make this review. This whole staff needs a SERIOUS training in hospitality and sanitation. Cleanliness was never up to standards. Coming to breakfast in the morning to see the dining room was dirty from afternoon meal. Dishes and silverware had to be picked through to find clean ones. The pool was constantly dirty with trash and I had to personally request that the algae be cleaned so that my son and I could swim. The housekeeping staff was awful. When I would request they would not show. When I would ask for privacy they would walk in. I have a 3yo and when I asked that the floor be vacuumed from inevitable crumbs, they were dumped outside my door. Two washers & two dryers on site. One washer is broken. One dryer is broken. In the 3 weeks of my stay I was able to do laundry 1 time. And a little side sting the one dryer available cost more money than the other machines. Many more things but it just seems petty at this point. Honestly, the only good things about this hotel are the free breakfast and afternoon snack. 4 of the staff members were friendly. Everyone else... like I said NEED A SERIOUS TRAINING IN HOSPITALITY. For a quick business trip I’d say it’s okay. You hear everything from every other room so for a personal trip or trying to relax, most definitely not. I’ll always stick with Hilton and that’s why there are two stars, but this management and staff need serious help and fast.

Love the room and it’s a good location. It has a great outdoor area complete with a pool, patio furniture, grills, etc. Unfortunately the locals have discovered it and show up with fry daddy’s, crock pots, coolers, oversized pool floats and camp out at the pool all day. We waited for a family of 50 to leave and after 4 hours, had to give up because the amount of people in the pool was dangerous. We saw one boy that was drowning and had to be rescued.You can access the outdoor area from the parking lot without a card key which makes it easy for anyone and everyone to take over the public parts of the hotel. It’s a nice set up so I understand why it would be worth it to rent one room and throw a party. The hotel management needs to figure out a way to better manage these scenarios.

I was at Homewood Suites from March 4, 2021 - May 10, 2021. The hotel was full, and virtually everyone was there because of home damage sustained from Ice Storm Uri. It was a stressful time for a lot of us. The staff was friendly, helpful and sympathetic. I know that at least one of them worked incredibly long hours, and that individual was always cheerful. I did not want to have to stay in a hotel, but my stay was pleasant, and even enjoyable. A HUGE plus for me was being able to have my little dogs with me. One of the staff referred to them as my babies and that was absolutely correct! I would definitely stay here again.

Would be even better if they provided vegan options but I won’t knock them for having limited free choices. Rooms are awesome. Very nice pool area. Nice fitness area. Pet friendly too. It’s great. My room on first floor had a leak so they relocated to second floor, which was not a problem at all just an i convenience since room was farther away from gym and entrance. Breakfast and room were top notch, no complaints there. Cleaning service was lacking but not a big deal for me since I stay clean and tidy on my own. The hotel is not being cleaned. Visible trash on floors throughout hotel. Trash cans overflowing outside the front doors. Housekeeping not wearing masks as required. Elevators have fingerprints all over the controls. The place is not following procedures for safety during this pandemic. It is not safe and I cannot recommend. I travel a lot and the cleanliness is one of the worst I have seen.

Was never told they had no cable. Called once in the room and was told they couldnt do anything cause the manager wasnt there. The next morning noticed there wasnt tv anywhere in the hotel lobby or main seating area to eat. Didnt offer any discount knowing they didnt have cable or internet and then charged us $75 more a day later with no explanation. Also bathroom and room smelled like mold due to bathroom showers didnt drain properly and water collected on floors away from drain. Shower and bathroom floors all the same height with drains on the floor btw. No one even offered an apology for lack of services just kind of gave us it is what it is attitude.

Currently staying here and it has been bad. Room hasnt been cleaned in 2 days working on a 3rd day of not being cleaned. Seemed more interested in the event they had than the guests. Used coffee filter was left in the coffee maker. Make sure you get to breakfast early. Everything was gone when there still was an hour left of breakfast. Nothing was ever replenished. General Manager was present but never spoke to guests just the artist the event was for. Front Desk doesnt appear to have proper training. Lots of punch list items that still need to be done for a new hotel. Hotel doesnt appear to have been ready to open. These issues are not because it is a new hotel this is a poor management issue. If I could give 0 stars I would have.

Its ashame the two women at the front desk (day/night) dont know the meaning of hospitality.When we first arrived there was no one there to greet us at the front desk, nor when we stopped by for some snacks, nor when we came down to check out.The visit was completely ruined by their incredible inability to be pleasant, welcoming, or courteous.The little interaction with the front desk staff was cold and uncomfortable. This was the worst customer service experience Ive ever had.There were constant failures all around.  The hotel did not have the room type that I reserved and just changed my reservation without even informing me.  When I went to check in on the app and noticed this, I tried to go to the front desk to check in to resolve the problem.  There was nobody working the front desk when I arrived.  I (and other guests) waited at least 30 minutes for someone to show up to help.  Nobody did.  I called Hiltons customer support number while I was waiting at the front desk and was put on hold after I spoke to someone.  They dropped my call after another 15 minute hold.  I had things to do, so I left.  While in my car, I called back and spoke to someone to explain the issue, and was put on hold again for 30 minutes.  I hung up and dialed again, hoping to get ahold of someone who can help.  I told the next person I talked to that I wanted to transfer to a different hotel with a similar room. She said since I had passed my cancellation period...blah blah blah. I told her that I need to speak to her supervisor. She said the supervisor wont talk until he/she speaks to the hotel that had my original reservation...of which nobody is currently working at. I explained this to the person, and she said she would relay that message. I was put on hold again and again was hung up on during the hold. At that point, I just gave up and checked into the hotel with my original reservation, as someone finally showed up to help. Our room was a suite.  I reserved a room with a separate bedroom as I have two small children.  The A/C did not work well and the fan didnt work at all. I barely got any sleep that night.  I cancelled our reservation for the second night and checked into an Embassy suites...and that wasnt the end of our issues as they put us in a room with a broken A/C at first. We also forgot an item in the room after we checked out and I tried calling the hotel for 20 minutes, and no answer.Ive never had this kind of issue with any company, where every where I turned, nobody could seem to help at all.  It was just disappointment after disappointment....failure after failure.  I dont know why Id ever consider staying at a hilton own property again.  They truly dont care about their customers.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I had a room that had fleas in it and as a result, I have flea bites on almost every part of my body. Although, they me moved me right away once they became aware of it, I should not have to deal with that especially since I am a person who does not own a pet. We ended up canceling the reservation and leaving at which point later I checked my honors account and it listed my cancelation as a late cancelation! Tried calling the entire weekend and no one literally answered the HOTEL PHONE. Made a complaint with customer service and was told someone from the hotel would contact me, no one has and it has been 6 days! When I arrived the front desk was unmanned. There was a sign up saying theyd be back shortly. So, I took some time to take pictures for Google Maps. When I got back a long line of people had formed and I had to wait over 20 minutes to get a physical key to my room since the digital key was never sent to my phone. To make matters even worse the physical keys didnt work! After TWO hours of arriving at the hotel and the ONE staff member onsite trying to helpas much as he could, we were never able to make my keys work and was assigned to another room in a less desirable area. And even that room had dirty glasses in the cabinet and a dishwasher with dirty dishes that housekeeping had not cleaned and put away. I have stayed at other Homewood Suites in the past without issue. Even though this is a newer property it is by far the worst experience Ive ever had at any hotel. Most of theyre pool signage was not even posted properly and just laying randomly around the area. It still boggles my mind that there was only one staff member on premises at 3pm on a Saturday and Sunday for many reasons not to mention security.. There are plenty of other hotel choices in the area, so Id choose somewhere else until this place gets up to Hilton standards.

I checked in Monday. I found that the garbage cans weren’t emptied and there was a dirty towel left on the floor. On Tuesday, I came back to the room from work at 6:00 pm and my room hadn’t been cleaned. Went to the front desk and was told the housekeepers left for the day.Tuesday my room was cleaned and garbage was taken out. On Sunday I left for the day and returned around 4:00 pm. When I returned, my room was not cleaned so I grabbed towels from the housekeeper cart in the hallway. I remembered seeing a bag of tortilla chips on top of the cart but didn’t think about it. Later that night I went in the fridge to get salsa and have chips. I realized that those were my chips on the housekeepers cart. She also stole a full jar of peanuts a vitamin water and a bag of popcorn. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had! Thank you to the housekeeper for room 206 on 3/17/19.

This was a brand new hotel. Very few guests until the tv grand opening filming with the artist whose pictures decorate the hotel. No bed made or fresh towels on day one. Day two the coffee machine in the breakfast are did not work. Plates and utensils were running low even though the hotel was not sokd out. We called to have the room cleaned and were told no full service after 12:30. On day three they knocked and asked if we needed service. This is the first time ever a Hilton hotel has not provided top service. With it being a new hotel I expected some issues but not getting towels or the room serviced was not one of them. It appeared they had no idea which rooms were occupied and which ones were not.

If I could rate it 2.8 I would, it was nice hotel and the staff seem nice, but our room door didnt shut correctly, you had to ghetto rig the door in order to close and it lock. Which I later found out after calling the front desk to inform them of the concern, I was informed nobody could assist me or look at the door, I was told it will be ok and they do floor checks periodically which I never witnessed while I stayed there for a couple days.The pullout couch had a sheet cover on the mat, but it was dirty and had food crumbs on it. Not a great place, employees are not attentive to your needs. My employer has a contact with Hilton hotels and they blink this hotel when in Houston, Ive had several issues with plumbing, cleanliness and lack of service; they take your complaints and do absolutely nothing to remedy your concerns/problems. My employer is now coming around to switching me to a different hotel. They serve meals from 5 to 7 (nothing fancy) with sodas, wine and beer; at no cost.....that is a plus. Happy travels.

So we evacuated for Hurricane Ida to this Homewood Suites. I specifically reserved this place due to the circumstances and the amount of people we had with us so we drove an extra 1.5 hrs. just to get there. I reserved a double queen suite in which the room is separated and when we got there we learned we would be stuck in a studio room. The woman at the front desk although kept her cool told me there was nothing she could do for me and we would be stuck with the room we were given even after I had the itinerary to show her proof of registration. Lets just say it was a rough few days with the amount of people we had. Its my belief they overbooked and stuck us where they could.

I am sure it is a lovely hotel but sadly I will not find that out seeing as we were charged a no show fee and in order to get our room we would have to pay an additional $99 even though we called several hours before to let them know we would be late because we had travel difficulties that set us back. Do not recommend this hotel due to poor communication between staff and uncaring customer service*****UPDATE*****Called Saturday Nov 10th and was told that it was not charged, that it was just a pending authorization and would drop off. Manager was fairly empathic with the situation and did apologize for the lack of communication between the staff.We were without a signal during our cruise so we checked the following Saturday, the 17th, when we were back in Galveston and we were in fact charged for the room despite being told we werent. Called the hotel and told no management on duty and told to call back on Monday the 19th. We called on Monday, management. ot in office so a message was left and has not been returned since. We will be in contact with regional managment.

Cockroach alert!!! Terrified of them and found a big one creeping up on the TV. Front desk didnt answer the call around 11:30pm.
